This guide will show you how to renew your old existing Bonnet Pin and Lock. Please read this guide through at least once before fitting.
Step 1. (Optional) Preparation prior to fitting
Before you start removing your old parts you may want to consider preventing your new parts from corroding like the existing ones. You could smear a protective oil or grease over the exposed metal and rub it over or you could like myself spray paint the metal parts.

Open the arm rest and you will notice 4 allen key bolts and the catch bolt on the under side off the arm rest Undo the catch bolt usin either a pair of plyers or relevant size spanner, use allen keys to remove the remainin 4 allen key bolts. Then remove the plastic body away from the arm rest. Note: The bottom two allen key bolts are the bolts that hold the arm rest to the console via a hinge, dont worry as this will stay where it is, once undone it should just pull up, when re-attaching you`ll need to push down and aline the holes up so the allen bolts screw in.

The first step is to locate the MAF sensor. Its position is on the air intake system, after the air filter box.
The second step is to unplug the connector on the MAF sensor. It has a clip that holds it firmly in place, so you need to push the clip with your finger to release it. (red arrow) Then just pull the plug off.
The third step is to unscrew the two torx security screws. To do that, you will need a trox screwdriver T20. After the screws are out, gently pull the sensor out of his casing.

How the clip looks is circled with a red circle and where the clips are positioned, is pointed out with red arrows. After you have removed the door card and the protective sheet, you have to take out this window lead so you get better access to the pins. To get it away, total unscrew the yellow circled nut and loosen the torx bolt (circled red). Now that you have done the above, move the lead out of the way.

The first thing I bought a chinch (pic.1) to headphones (pic. 2) cable. Taken the glove box out and the Fiat radio. Fitted the connection cable and 1 two line cable for power (pic.3), had the hole in the dash when I bought the car (prob. a mobile phone holder) Connected the two line cable (pic.3) to the negative ( - ) cable of the car, and the other one to the positive ( + ) witch only has power when the car is running. So the power line has no constant power and the LED that shows charging of the iPod isn’t visible when the car is not running.

The first step is to remove the old (bravo) console. You do it like so. Unscrew the screw underneath it. Lift the gear stick gator like in the pic above and use force to get the gear knob off – grip the gear knob with your hands and pull in the direction of the arrow (upwards)
