Headphone Jack/Optical Digital Audio Output Terminal • Headphone jack It allows you to connect commercially available headphones with a Ø3.5 mini plug. This jack is not compatible with certain types of connectors. Please consult a salesperson on the specification of the headphone before purchasing it. • Optical digital audio output terminal It allows you to connect the notebook to an audio unit using a fiber-optic cable e.g. an MD recorder with an optical digital input terminal. 11. Microphone Jack It allows you to connect a commercially available monaural microphone with a Ø3.5 mini plug. This jack does not support certain types of microphones e.g. dynamic microphone.
