  • Client-Server Socket Programming Project
  • This project serves as an introduction to client-server programming. You will be expected to implement an abstract protocol called Simple Registration Protocol using simple TCP socket programming. To illustrate the use of the protocol, you will also implement a concrete application: a simple appointment management system. This application will introduce you to the use of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP), a free, powerful and commonly-used combination for Web-based applications. The SRP uses a client-server model where multiple client processes request services from a server using request messages. These requests are answered using reply messages. The SRP includes only one mandatory request message (called REQ) and one mandatory reply message (REP). REQ is sent by a client to the server to indicate a specific application-defined service (e.g. reservation, confirmation, information request). The server responds with a REP message, the contents of which is specific to each type of request. The server should check the validity of each request and should not fail if an invalid request is received. The client follows these three steps to make a request: 1. Establishes a TCP connection with the server, 2. Sends the request to the server, and 3. Closes the connection. If the request is valid, the server 1. Opens a TCP connection to the client, 2. Sends the reply, and 3. Closes the connection. Note that the REQ and REP messages are sent in two separate TCP sessions. The client will close the existing REQ TCP session and wait for the server to open a new TCP session for the REP. Download pdf
  • Honda VFR750F Owner’s Manual, Model 90-93 PDF Download
  • most of you know, most kinds of manuals have the tendency to dissolve into thin air. Most people who buy a motorcycle secondhand, don’t get the owner’s manual along with it. I did neither. Because Honda could not provide me a copy of this manual, I do not think that they will prevent anyone from copying it. I asked someone to provide me the manual and scanned it for everyone to copy and read. The original size of the manual is: 10.5 x 14.7 cm (5.8 x 4.1 Inch). Enjoy your motorcycle, riding and maintaining it. Download Honda VFR750F Owner’s Manual, Model 90-93 PDF

  • Z-FI Mapper V1.22 Installation Instructions
  • Each Z-Fi is supplied with a USB cable and easy to use Z-Fi Mapper Software. This sophisticated program is designed for experienced tuners. With just a laptop, a tuner can make tuning adjustments for any of our products either at the track or on the dyno. Using the Z-Fi Mapper on the bike 1) Plug your computer into the Z-Fi unit with the supplied USB cable 2) Turn the power to the vehicle on 3) Start the Bazzaz Z-Fi Mapper program (ProgramFilesBazzazPerformanceZ-Fi Mapper) 4) The Z-Fi Mapper software should automatically connect to the Z-Fi unit. 5) Make and save changes according to the instructions on the next few pages 6) Be Sure to EXIT the Z-Fi Mapper program before turning OFF the power to the bike. Tuning the power to the bike OFF before exiting the program may cause your laptop to lockup. 7) You can create maps when you are away from the bike or when the bike is powered down by choosing the “Work Offline” option when prompted. 8) Note that some of the TABS of the Z-Fi Mapper software may not be available to view, based on the type of Z-Fi unit that you purchased. For instance, you can’t access the Traction Control Screen if you did not purchase a Z-Fi TC unit. Similarly you can’t access the Self Mapping screen unless you are plugged into the bike and you have a Z-AFM unit installed. Download pdf Z-FI Mapper V1.22 Installation Instructions
  • Ondex Visualisation ToolKit (OVTK) User Tutorial
  • This section will introduce the Ondex Visualisation ToolKit user interface. A network consists of genes/proteins/metabolites as concepts and interactions represented as links i.e. relations between concepts. Firstly, we will explain how to install and run the OVTK. Secondly, we will look at the basic user interface of OVTK. Then we will load up a network to show all menu features of OVTK and some of the core functionality such as layout algorithms, annotators and filters. How to set the PATH variable WINDOWS: Right-click on “My computer” and choose “Properties” from the appearing context menu. Switch to the tab “Advanced” in the appearing window. Click the button “Environment Variables” on the bottom left of the window. You will see a list of variables with their assigned values. If the PATH variable already occurs in it, select it and click “Edit”. Append a semicolon to the end of the value field and then enter the path to your Java binary directory. This is usually something like “C:Program FilesJavajdk1.6.0 04bin”. If the Path contains any white spaces, make sure you put it in double quotes. If the variable PATH didn’t exist yet on your system, create a new one and call it “PATH”. Assign the binary path as it’s value. However you don’t need the semicolon in this case. LINUX: Go to your home directory and open the file “.bashrc” in your favourite editor. Append the line PATH=$PATH: where is your path to the java binary directory, something like /home/apps/java/bin/ to find out what it

  • Investigation on the Operation of Passive RFID
  • RFID (Radio Frequency identification) is a method of identification process that has potential to substitute barcode and magnetic card as an identification process. The reason of this is because RFID is created to eliminate the defect of identification process occurred when either barcode or magnetic card is used. As RFID has faced obstacles during the implementation, it has not been used widely and to its maximum capability as further development and improvement is still possible. This issue will be thoroughly discussed in this thesis. This project has a main goal to discover the obstacles for RFID to be implemented widely. The results obtained from this project would show what kind of obstacles that are encountered by RFID and therefore would be foundation for further improvements. Furthermore, the result obtained from this project will assist in the direction of further development that should be made so RFID could be implemented widely to its maximum capability. After this project is undertaken, various projects related to further development of RFID could be performed. One example of the project that can be done for RFID development is how to increase the performance of RFID. Another project that can be taken is to store data of groceries expired date in the RFID, and build a hardware that have monitor to be embedded in the refrigerator where the expiry date can be monitored using that hardware. • Nissan X-Trail Road Test PDF
  • The X-Trail is quite a roomy and comfortable vehicle for its size. Head and leg room in both the front and the rear seating positions is adequate for most adults. The front bucket seats offer reasonable support and shape, although the cushions could do with some additional bolstering to further improve lateral support. The rear luggage area is quite spacious with the added versatility of a split fold rear seat. A hard plastic finish is used in the cargo area that is practical and easy to clean, but tends to look cheap. One of the first things you’ll notice once seated in the driver’s position of the X-Trail is that all the instruments are located in the centre of the dash, rather than behind the steering wheel. In fact, the entire layout of the dash is rather unusual. Nissan claims that it is an innovative design, but I found the unconventional positioning of the controls and instruments a little annoying. In particular, all the vents are located below the level of the steering column and failed to blow enough cool air towards your face on a hot day. The handbrake lever felt particularly flimsy and the bold interior trim is certainly not conservative. The X-Trail has quite a robust feel on the road that is typical of many larger four wheel drive vehicles. The all-new 2.5 litre engine delivers strong performance throughout the rev range that is on par with Honda’s new 2.4 litre engine, found in the CRV. Generally, the
  • Introduction to Microsoft Access Tutorial pdf
  • The purpose of these tutorials is not to teach you Microsoft Access, but rather to teach you some generic information systems concepts and skills using Access. Of course, as a side effect, you will learn a great deal about the software enough to write your own useful applications. However, keep in mind that Access is an enormously complex, nearly- industrial-strength software development environ- ment. The material here only scrapes the surface of Access development and database programming. 1.1 Introduction: What is Access? Microsoft Access is a relational database manage- ment system (DBMS). At the most basic level, a DBMS is a program that facilitates the storage and retrieval of structured information on a computer’s hard drive. Examples of well-know industrial-strength relational DBMSes include • Oracle • Microsoft SQL Server • IBM DB2 • Informix Well-know PC-based (“desktop”) relational DBMSes include • Microsoft Access • Microsoft FoxPro • Borland dBase 1.1.1 The many faces of Access Microsoft generally likes to incorporate as many fea- tures as possible into its products. For example, the Access package contains the following elements: • a relational database system that supports two industry standard query languages: Structured Query Language (SQL) and Query By Example (QBE); Download Introduction to Microsoft Access Tutorial pdf
