The second Bloodrayne came without any new surprises and that was the reason for its moderate market impact. Everyone knew what she was capable of, but she failed to deliver any new gameplay. Fortunately for us, as I was saying in the article from the first game, the game offered us an excuse to play a little more with a very tight costume on an improved engine. The human race, being a constant prey for vampires has always been fascinated by the latter. And if the object of that fascination is a really hot vampire in a tight leather suit, the stage is set for a successful game. It is set in 1933 and 1938, just before World War II. As an agent of the Brimstone Society, Rayne is sent to a variety of locations (a small swamp town in Louisiana, a Nazi fortress in Argentina, and an ancient castle in Germany) to battle supernatural creatures as well as the Nazi army.
