Part 1 – Creating a box in Maya Create polygonal cube. Select Create > Polygonal Primitives > Cube. Scale the cube. 2- Assign texture. Go to Windows > Rendering Editor > Hypershade panel. Press space bar, inside the toolbox turn on Shading > Smooth Shade Selected and Shading > Hardware texturing. Now we create Blinn materials for each face of the cube. Step 4: In Hypershade, doubleclick on Blinn or Lambert. Step 5: Bring the new shader in Hypershade > Work Area, Middle click + drag on shader’s icon inside the Work area.. The technology has more capabilities and is therefore much more complex than any other networking technology available today. Because of this, many organizations are late deploying AD into their production environment.
The goal of this guide is to facilitate the design process for those DOE sites that are currently engaged in designing their Active Directory network. This guide is based on personal experience and a two-year design process that included planning, meetings, documentation, and training. This information has the potential to cut the design time by 50% and produce more tangible results than using the Microsoft design process alone.
This guide provides a general tutorial of Active Directory concepts as well as highlights some of the pitfalls, issues, and misinformation to be aware of when designing Active Directory for a site. Additionally, this guide demonstrates three common Active Directory designs and design tradeoffs by presenting a pragmatic scenario. To accomplish this, it is broken into 3 parts. Part I is comprised of an overview of Active Directory. Specifically, Section 3 outlines an Active Directory Tutorial and Section 4 describes the Microsoft Design process. Section 5 describes how to scope an AD Design. Part I provides the basis for understanding the design scenarios illustrated in Part II and best practices described in Part III.

Exploring the Toolbar
Let's explore the toolbar and experiment with the various tools.
1. Click on AutoShapes and select one of the shapes. Then, click on the screen and drag until you have the desired shape and size.
2. Click on the line tool and draw a line. While the line is still highlighted, choose the line color tool. Pick a new color.
3. The arrow tool allows you to draw arrows in many directions. Draw a few arrows.
4. The rectangle and oval tools allow you to draw those shapes.
5. The text box allows you to insert text next to graphics. Using an arrow and a text box, you can label illustrations. Make a text box and type a word inside. To change the font and size, highlight the text and choose another font and size from the Formatting Toolbar.
6. WordArt is lots of fun. Choose all sorts of shapes and sizes to liven up a document.
