  • Rolling with web2py
  • Perhaps you have heard of web2py, the new kid on the block of Web Frameworks. web2py is written in Python so it is more solid and much faster than Ruby on Rails. web2py is also a web application itself so you can do all development, deployment and maintenance of your applications through your web browser and that makes it easier to use than any other framework. Moreover web2py ships in one complete package (for Windows, Mac or Unix/ Linux) including everything you need to start development (including Python, SQLite3, and multi-threaded web server). What is Python? Python is an object oriented programming language designed to be super easy to teach without any compromise on functionality. Most Java algorithms can be rewritten in Python in one tenth of their original length. Python comes with an extensive set of portable stan- dard libraries including support for many standard internet protocols (http, xml, smtp, pop, and imap, just to mention a few) and APIs to the Operating System. What is web2py? web2py is an open source web framework written in Python and programmable in Python for fast development of database-driven web applications. There are many web frameworks today including Ruby on Rails, Django, Pylons and Turbo Gears, so why another one? I developed web2py with the following goals in mind: 1) As similar as possible to Rails but in Python, so that it is more solid and much faster. 2) All-in-one package with no installation, no configuration and no shell scripting required. 3) Be super easy to teach (my job
  • How to Create a Flash Form with PHP
  • The Flash form consists of 2 basic parts. One part is the group of text fields that make up the form. These are actually contained within a movieclip aptly named "form." Secondly, you have the send button. This will be the button that activates the code that sends the form information to the PHP file. At that point, Flash's job is done. It's then up to the PHP script to make sure the email gets sent. 1. Start off by making the appropriate form fields. Make sure these are input fields and not static or dynamic text fields Include as many as you want. Each will be sent to the PHP file where they can then be sorted. This example uses 3. 2. Assign each text field a var value. This is NOT an instance name. The var field allows you to associate a variable with the given text field Because loadVariables is being used to transmit the information, this is needed to make the value of these text fields easily recognized as variables to that command. This example uses name, email, and body for field variable names. 3. Once you have created and named each field, select them all and create a new movieclip out of them. This will be the form movieclip. Give it the instance name form when you're done. 4. Next, create a button. This will serve as the send button. This will exist not within the form, but in the same place as the form. It's on this button
  • Addendum to Users Manual Ranger Wedge Interface
  • A laptop computer contains an integrated keyboard whereas a desktop computer uses an external keyboard. When using a desktop computer with a scanner that is designed to emulate keyboard input, the scanner is wedged into the cable that connects the external keyboard to the computer (hence, the term wedge scanner). Since a laptop keyboard is internal, there is no cable accessible to use a standard wedge connection for a scanner. However, most laptops make provision for an external keyboard via a separate keyboard connector (or port). Since the scanner connections to the laptop are different from the connections to a desktop computer, the scanner must be programmed specifically to operate as an external keyboard device. This is accomplished by using the programming codes on page 9. Download pdf Addendum to Users Manual Ranger Wedge Interface
  • 2002 and Up Nissan Altima Short Throw Shift Adapter Installation Manual
  • The theory behind the TWM Performance Short Throw Shift Adapter is to adjust the point at which the shifter cable attaches to the shift actuator on the transmission. This adapter is fixed onto the stock shift actuator and the shift cable is attached to the adapter rather than the actuator. The new point of attachment is placed closer to the pivot or fulcrum of the actuator thus reducing the distance the shifter (inside the car) must move in order to engage a gear. Step 1: Remove the four bolts which secure the airbox to the chassis. Step 2: Unclip the MAF from the intake tube and remove the rubber tube connected to the air box. Then remove the airbox from the vehicle. Step 3: Remove the cotter pin that secures the shift cable to the shift actuator. Step 4: Remove the shift cable from the old shift cable mounting point. Step 5: Using the following diagram, place the TWM Performance Short Throw Shift Adapter onto the shift actuator. Download pdf 2002 and Up Nissan Altima Short Throw Shift Adapter Installation Manual
  • The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Strategy Guide Manual
  • Cradled in the scenic beauty of pristine farmland, the villagers of Ordon make a living by raising livestock. Among the villagers is a boy known as the most skillful rider in all the land. A boy who, it is expected, will one day take over the responsibility of leading Ordon as the village chief. His name is Link… Trusted and liked by all the villagers, Link is especially loved by the other children of Ordon, among whom he holds unofficial status as the leader of the pack. Link spends his days as a ranch hand and learns the ways of the sword from the village’s lone swordsman, Rusl, in his spare time. He often displays his newly honed skills to the village youths, which makes him even more popular. One day Link is showing off his swordsmanship as usual, when a monkey appears. “Hey! That’s the monkey that’s been causing trouble all over the village! Let’s get him,” cry the children. They run after the monkey into the forest. Link rushes into the heart of the woods after them and is shocked to find that the dark thickets are teeming with countless monsters. After fighting his way through their ranks, Link rescues the child and the monkey from the cage where they are held captive. Until now, the forest had always been a safe place… The next day, after much encouragement by Rusl, Link prepares to set out and deliver the village’s tribute to Hyrule Castle. Having never visited the castle

  • GJ: Extending the Java Programming Language with Type Tutorial
  • Say you wish to process collections. Some may be collections of bytes, others collections of strings, and yet others collections of collections of strings. The Java programming language supports such variation by allowing you to form a collection of Object, so the elements may have any reference type. In order to keep the language simple, you are forced to do some of the work yourself: you must keep track of the fact that you have a collection of bytes, and when you extract an element from the collection you must cast it to class Byte before further processing. parameters...
