  • All SimBLOX simulation products employ an agent-based or object-oriented architecture. This allows the user to create very large, complex, macro-level simulation models by connecting together many smaller, easily understandable, micro-level “building block” models. In this simple tutorial, we will show you how to use the Water Resource Planning SimBRIX. INSTALLING THE WATER RESOURCE PLANNING SimBRIX: Before you install the Water Resource SimBRIX, you must make sure you have already installed the SimBLOX application. If you have not done so, refer to the documentation included with the SimBLOX application for instructions on how to properly install it, or if you do not have the SimBLOX software, please contact us. Our contact information is available at the end of this tutorial. After you have verified that SimBLOX is installed SimBLOX, double-click the file called “setup.exe” to begin the installation of the Water Resource SimBRIX. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. Once the installation is completed you will then need to open SimBLOX to access the Water Resource Planning SimBRIX. The current version only works on IBM-compatible PC’s running Windows 2000, XP or Vista with the .NET 2.0 Framework installed. The .NET 2.0 Framework is available as a free download from Microsoft. Please visit the resources page on the viaSim website (www.viasimcorp.com) for a link to download this software directly from the Microsoft website. • 2007 Ford Escape (204) Owners Guide Manual
  • This 2007 Ford Escape (204) Owners Guide Manual contains: Warning lights and gauges can alert you to a vehicle condition that may become serious enough to cause expensive repairs. A warning light may illuminate when a problem exists with one of your vehicle’s functions. Many lights will illuminate when you start your vehicle to make sure the bulb works. If any light remains on after starting the vehicle, refer to the respective system warning light for additional information. Service engine soon: The Service engine soon indicator light illuminates when the ignition is first turned to the ON position to check the bulb and to indicate whether the vehicle is ready for Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) testing. Normally, the Service engine soon light will stay on until the engine is cranked, then turn itself off if no malfunctions are present. However, if after 15 seconds the Service engine soon light blinks eight times, it means that the vehicle is not ready for I/M testing. See the Readiness for Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) testing in the Maintenance and Specifications chapter. Download 2007 Escape (204) Owners Guide Manual

  • AjaxScope: A Platform for Remotely Monitoring the Client-Side Behavior of Web 2.0 Applications
  • The rise of the software-as-a-service paradigm has led to the development of a new breed of sophisticated, interactive applications often called Web 2.0. While web applications have become larger and more complex, web application developers today have little visibility into the end-to-end behavior of their systems. This paper presents AjaxScope, a dynamic instrumentation platform that enables cross-user monitoring and just-in-time control of web application behavior on end-user desktops. AjaxScope is a proxy that performs on-the-fly parsing and instrumentation of JavaScript code as it is sent to users’ browsers. AjaxScope provides facilities for distributed and adaptive instrumentation in order to reduce the client-side overhead, while giving fine-grained visibility into the code-level behavior of web applications. We present a variety of policies demonstrating the power of AjaxScope, ranging from simple error reporting and performance profiling to more complex memory leak detection and optimization analyses. We also apply our prototype to analyze the behavior of over 90 Web 2.0 applications and sites that use large amounts of JavaScript. In the last several years, there has been a sea change in the way software is developed, deployed, and maintained. Much of this has been the result of a rise of software-as-a-service paradigm as opposed to traditional shrink-wrap software. These changes have lead to an inherently more dynamic and fluid approach to software distribution, where users benefit from bug fixes and security updates instantly and without hassle. As our paper shows, this fluidity also creates opportunities for software monitoring. Indeed, additional monitoring code can be seamlessly injected
  • PCL Printer Control Language Users Guide and Reference Manual
  • AVERY DENNISON PCL is a description language for the AVERY DENNISON PCL printers. PCL allows a user to describe a tag layout to a printer. Also PCL allows a user to send multiple sets of information to a printer. These sets of information will be printed using either a tag layout that was sent to the printer using PCL or a tag layout that is stored on the printer. A tag layout is known as a format. A format contains all the physical descriptions of a tag or label. These descriptions include tag size, sense mark position, field positions, field types, field sizes, etc..., everything the printer needs to know in order to build and print the tag or label. The formats can be sent to a printer using PCL just prior to the information that is to be printed or the formats can reside in the printer. If the formats reside in the printer then PCL is only needed to send the information that is to be printed. The multiple sets of information are known as Batch Data or just Batches. Batches consist of character data sent to the printer in the order specified by the format. This information is plugged into the format and a tag is created. The number of tags to be printed using this information is known as the quantity. The quantity is also sent with the batch data. The following sections in this document explain how to make a format and send it to the printer and

  • Setting Options and Customising Microsoft Excel 2002
  • Like all Microsoft Office products, Excel allows you to customise various settings to suit your own requirements. Whereas Microsoft Word has a default template called normal.dot, Excel has a special file called Excel.xlb in which your settings are stored. Note that not all settings are stored here, however - for example, each file has its own colour palette. Perhaps the most useful customisation centres around the toolbars and menus. You can decide which toolbars to display (and where you would like them positioned on the screen). If you want to, you can remove, add or rearrange the buttons on a toolbar (or the commands in a menu). You can even create your own toolbars and menus, adding either built-in commands or your own (using macros - see Writing Macros in Microsoft Excel 2003 for further information). Another common area of customisation concerns charts. You can create your own chart types and change the palette of colours used on charts. Defining your own types lets you apply a given layout to a set of charts - eg for a particular publication or thesis. While on the subject of colours, you can also modify the default colour palette used for fonts and filling cells. A further aspect of customisation centres around customised lists. A few lists are built into the system (eg the days of the week and months of the year) but you can create your own. These can then be used to fill further cells or to sort data in a particular order.
