The modem used at computer (Serial Communication Server) side (Local Modem) may not have this feature, The local Modem can be configured every time before the Serial Communication Server startup. The modem dialing and hang-up with GSM-DIAL can be also performed using OPC or DDE.The GSM-DIAL can act as an OPC (OLE for Process Control)or DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange) Server allowing other Windows application programs to send the phone number to be dialed to the GMS-DIAL and receive the dialing result.
