Aspects of AJAXThe basic elements for an application using the AJAX technologies, JavaScript and the XMLHttpRequest object, are not difficult to understand and there are many articles on the web that show how to use this object and declare that being AJAX. I think there are a lot more topics that should be understood and talked about.
The right selection from the available technologies as well as a suitable abstraction in using these elements is important for the success of the realization of an application. One main goal behind the architecture of the AJAX engine was to build an AJAX framework that you can reuse every time you want some asynchronous processing or when you need a smart way to refresh information on the current web page.
When targeting applications with some hundred sides and WebServices and with in sum about a thousand methods the developer must have a clear and simple kind and pattern for coding the JavaScript code on the client to avoid errors and to not think about the implementation details. Only by using a simple approach a good quality and maintenance can be achieved.
The idea of the AJAX engine on the client is the simplification of the implementation of the code that we need for implementing a specific functionality on the client. Like with the WebService framework of ASP.NET on the server the details of communication over SOAP on the client are completely hidden from the developer and also the recurring code portion is only realized once in a centralAn R/S Interface to the MySQL DatabaseMySQL is a mid-size, multi-platform RDBMS popular in the open source community. Some of its advantages include high-performance, open source, and free for non-commercial use. For a detailed discussion and tutorial on using relational databases with R (and hence S) see [4]; for more details on importing/exporting data into R see [5], for S-Plus see its User’s Guide. For details on obtaining and installing the software described here see the Appendix.
The R/S MySQL interface allows multiple connections to one or more MySQL servers simultaneously (up to 100 connections). Although each MySQL connection can only have one open result set (open query) at a time, this is not a serious limitation since we can very easily clone connections (see Section 4 for details). All functions described here are documented on-line – simply use help(MySQL), for instance, to read all the details.

Without the assistance of simplification tools, then, development teams integrating Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 must re-write and redesign significant amounts of their application build processes. But, such an endeavor proves so costly and time-consuming that many enterprises choose to delay or omit upgrades to their development environments. Unfortunately, avoidance will quickly create a situation where new applications are written in the new Visual Studio but without compatibility to the vast amount of programs and systems that were developed in older versions.
Opportunity
To overcome this development limitation, OpenMake, a CA partner that specializes in Build Management, worked closely with Microsoft on the new Visual Studio 2008 and created a process where Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 code can be easily integrated with code created in the newer release. This unique process bridges the technology gap between the two Microsoft development environments and provides a simple method for programmers to integrate all of their existing applications with new applications written in Visual Studio 2008.
And, the technology is so innovative and complete that even developers using MS Visual Studio 97, MS Visual Studio 6.0 and MS Visual Studio .Net 2002 and 2003 can integrate to MS Visual Studio 2008. As such, it allows you to continue to use the large code base already developed in a single integrated environment and with automated and continuous integrationIntroduction to C#See what you can find in this pdf

Download pdf Introduction to C#3d modelling for Virtual Reality - Tutorial #1 – VRML room of primitivesThis tutorial will guide you through a method of creating a simple virtual reality model of a room, similar to the one shown here.
You will perform all of the initial 3D modelling using AutoCAD. You will import the AutoCAD model to 3ds max and set it up for exporting as a virtual reality model in the form of a VRML file, (3ds max has better tools built in for setting up and creating the VRML world file than AutoCAD.)
You will view and interact with the VRML file (world, *.wrl) using a web browser. When completed you will be able to freely navigate around and view the internal space. You will also be able to click on the objects in the room to access more information.
You need access to a PC with AutoCAD (could be Architectural Desk Top) by AutoDesk, and 3ds max by Discreet. You will also need access to a web browser with a VRML client installed. You must be able to use AutoCAD in 3D to create surfaces, solid primitives and be able to manage layers. Experience with 3ds max, creating lights and cameras would be an advantage.

Client Systems
These systems represent client systems in the ML-500 workflow. They are networked to the server that is connected to the ML-500 printer. If you will be using the ML-500 WINDOWS printer driver to print, the driver must be installed on the clients.
Server Systems
The system connected to the ML-500 printer is considered the server. The ML-500 Printer Utilities are installed on this system. If you will be using the ML-500 WINDOWS driver to print, the port monitor and the printer driver(s) must be installed on the server before installing the printer drivers on the client systems.
System Requirements (ML-500 Utilities)
- 800 MHz PENTIUM III processor with minimum 512 MB of memory
- WINDOWS 2000 Professional (Service Pack 2, or latest), WINDOWS 2000 Server (Service Pack 2, or latest) with Services for MACINTOSH installed, WINDOWS 2000 Advanced Server (Service Pack 2, or latest) with Services for MACINTOSH installed, or WINDOWS XP Operating Systems
- Color monitor with an 800 x 600 pixel resolution
- OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 card and IEEE 1394 cable for connecting to printer included
- A minimum of 10 GB available storage on hard drive
Installing the ML-500 Utilities
If you are installing the ML-500 Utilities for the first time, use the KODAK PROFESSIONAL ML-500 Digital Photo Print System CD (see page 3) that was included with your ML-500 system.

WinTask is a powerful, flexible platform for building automation solutions on a stand-alone or networked PC. You can, for instance, launch an accountancy package, integrate data from other programs, calculate results with this new data and then print them.
You can also launch a terminal emulation package, type the userid and the password, navigate through the host screens, pick up data in different screens and paste them back on your PC. You can navigate on a website, extract prices and retrieve them in an Excel spreadsheet. You can create an installation script to automatically install software on thousands of PC’s. WinTask can provide all the user information required to install software without any user interaction.

Before taking off on any trip, a safe rider makes a point to: 1. Wear the right gear. 2. Become familiar with the motorcycle. 3. Check the motorcycle equipment. 4. Be a responsible rider. WEAR THE RIGHT GEAR When you ride, your gear is “right” if it protects you.
In any crash, you have a far better chance of avoiding serious injury if you wear: • An approved helmet. • Face or eye protection. • Protective clothing. HELMET USE Crashes can occur - particularly among untrained, beginning riders. And one out of every five motorcycle crashes results in head or neck injuries. Head injuries are just as severe as neck injuries — and far more common. Crash analyses show that head and neck injuries account for a majority of serious and fatal injuries.

We will work on one face of the cube with its specific material-shader and one texture “mountain.jpg”. Part 4 of this tutorial covers setting up an orbital camera. Part 1- In Maya, exporting a cube with textures Before exporting to Virtools, make sure that all faces inside the cube have their normals facing towards the inside of the cube. Go to Modeling, Display > Polygon Components > Normals Normals are represented with colored lines stickin out of the faces of the cube. The red arrow shows the way one normal should look like.
