  • SAP Teach Your Self: Transfer of PRICAT-Messages (SD-MD-PL) Tutorial
  • Transfer of PRICAT-Messages (SD-MD-PL) Use This business process allows you to export a logical message type PRICAT from R/3 to an external system, via ALE and IDocs, or to import it from an external system. (R/3 supports both EANCOM standard message type PRICAT and ANSI X12 transaction set 832.) This is useful, for example, if you want to: · Send a complete or partial list of your product offering (including prices) to your customers · Send your data to a central database in PRICAT message format so that it is available so that authorized customers and suppliers can access it. · Receive automatic notification of new or updated product and pricing information from your suppliers or from a central database. Price catalog information for export includes the description, information about prices and pricing conditions (including taxes), and logistics information for each product. It can contain either general product information valid for all customers, or customer-specific information, such as special conditions. You can also specify a timeframe for which the price catalog is valid. Download PDF for SAP Teach Your Self: Transfer of PRICAT-Messages (SD-MD-PL) Tutorial
  • 3d modelling for Virtual Reality Tutorial #2 – VRML sliding door
  • This tutorial will guide you through one way of setting up an animated sliding door in a vrml world using 3ds max. You will be provided with a prepared AutoCAD (3rooms.dwg) model of three rooms, comprising walls, ceiling, floor and a door, as shown above. You will import the AutoCAD model to 3ds max. You will apply lights, materials, cameras, and a navigation helper as previously done in the Tutorial #1 – VRML room of primitives! tutorial. You will animate the door to make it slide, and then create a ‘touch sensor’ helper to control the door opening. Finally you export as a virtual reality model in the form of a VRML file. You will view and interact with the VRML file (world, *.wrl) using a web browser. When completed you will be able to freely navigate around and view the internal spaces and click on the door to open it. Download 3d modelling for Virtual Reality Tutorial #2 – VRML sliding door
  • WPF and Silverlight Building Rich Interactive Applications with XAML
  • Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) WPF provides a unified framework for building applications with rich user interfaces and interactivity. It is built on top of the .Net Framework and makes use of the managed and unmanaged code. WPF programming model allows the developers to write code once and deploy it as a standalone installed application or in a browser. Microsoft Silverlight Microsoft Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device plug-in for delivering the next generation of .NET based media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web. Silverlight offers a flexible programming model that supports AJAX, VB, and C # and integrates with existing Web applications. Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML) XAML is a markup language for declarative application programming. It is a tools-supported, XML-based user interface design language that maps XML markup tags to objects in the .NET Framework, enabling designers and developers to collaborate on delivering superior user experiences. Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Silverlight application user interfaces are created in XAML. Development Environments Visual Studio and Expression Studio are tools used by the developers and UI designers. Expression Studio is primarily used by the UI designers to create the layouts, styles, animations, etc. Visual Studio is used by the developers to write the code behind to take care of the functionality and processing. Both Visual Studio and Expression Studio make use of the same project definition structure. Hence a project created in Visual Studio can be opened in Expression Studio and vice versa. XBAP (stands for XAML Browser Application) XBAP is a WPF application run in the
  • Remote Desktop using Mikogo
  • This manual will teach you how to use remote desktop so that you are able to share your screen to anyone online. It will also show you how to view another computer screen. All of this will be done using Mikogo®. Mikogo® is a free online desktop sharing tool full of features to assist you in online meetings, product demos, conducting the perfect online presentation, remote support and webinars. Mikogo® also has high standards when it comes to security offering end-to-end encryption. I have written this tutorial for all users, from computer novice to the more advanced user. Although Mikogo® has many features such as skype, pausing transmission, selecting only certain applications for sharing and transferring files I will not be covering those sections. This tutorial will only show you how to share each other’s screens, change presenters and access remote control. Please see the Additional Resources section in this manual for links that will help you the other features. If you have any questions please see the Contact Information section. • Aspect-Oriented Programming with C# and .NET
  • Reliable computer systems used in the telecommunication industry, in cars and automated factories (process control) are often implemented as special purpose systems which are vendor-specific, expensive, hard to maintain and difficult to upgrade. Often, those systems apply proprietary techniques to achieve security and predictable timing behavior, even in case of faults. With the need of integrating multiple of those control systems into a bigger whole, requirements arise to open up proprietary systems for standard (non real-time) distributed computing technology. Component-oriented programming provides a promising way to system composition out of units with contractually specified interfaces and explicit context dependencies. Software component can be deployed independently, they are subject to composition by third parties. There exist a number of distributed component frameworks, notably the Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) [14] , Microsoft’s Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM/COM+) [4] , SUN’s JavaBean Model [7] , and the relatively new .NET framework. Although all of these frameworks simplify the implementation of complex, distributed systems significantly, the support of techniques for reliable, fault-tolerant, and secure software, such as group communication protocols or replication is very limited. Any fault tolerance extension for components needs to trade off data abstraction and encapsulation against implementation specific knowledge about a component’s internal timing behavior, resource usage, interaction and access patterns. These non-functional aspects of a component are crucial for the predictable behavior of real-time and fault-tolerance mechanisms. However, in contrast to the various mechanisms describing a component’s functional interface (Interface Definition Languages, Class/Method specifications), there is no general means

For example, Thesues’ Hall needs to be built by the palace, surrounded by walls and have good appeal. On maps where space is at a premium this can be difficult to accomplish. To get around this, after you have filled the requirements to summon the hero, and while the hero is on his/her way to the city, you can demolish the hall and any of the structures you had to build to meet the requirements. Then, rebuild the hall where it can be connected to a road. The hero will not care and will serve your city as
