Meta Stock Formula Primer ManualIntroduction Equis has been supporting MetaStock for some years now and has frequently had questions from customers on how to write their own indicators, system tests, or explorations. The commands are printed in the manual, but most inquiries stemmed from people who had no idea how to begin. Conventions used in this Document Throughout this text, you will receive instructions on using MetaStock and creating sample formulas. Below is a list of the symbols and special text used to distinguish these instructions and alert you to possible points of interest. Bold Bolded text refers to menu commands. • Check to ensure port 443 is open on the firewall. (Note: If your company allows Outlook Web Access, port 443 is most likely already open on your firewall.)
• On the Front-End Server, verify that a server certificate is installed and enable SSL for the Exchange ActiveSync virtual directory (require basic SSL authentication).
• On the Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server, verify that a server certificate is installed and update the public DNS to properly resolve incoming connections.
• On the ISA Server, create a Web listener as well as an Exchange Web client access publishing rule according to Microsoft documentation. This is a necessary step in enabling Exchange ActiveSync.
• For all firewalls and network appliances, set the Idle Session Timeout to 30 minutes (check your Microsoft Exchange documentation for alternative heartbeat and timeout intervals).

A. First, connect the power adapter to the receptor at the back panel of the DI-704UP and then plug the other end of the power adapter to a wall outlet or power strip. The Power LED lights up indicating proper operation.

C. Insert an Ethernet cable to LAN Port 1 on the back panel of the DI-704UP and an available Ethernet port on the network adapter in the computer you are using to configure the DI-704UP. The LED light for LAN Port 1 illuminates to indicate proper connection.
