Photoshop Toolbox
The Photoshop toolbox is the most important user interface with this complex program, and includes the primary tools to work with graphics. These include the tools that let you use type, and select, paint, draw, sample, edit, move, annotate, and view images. Other tools in the toolbox allow you to change foreground/background colors, go to Adobe Online by either clicking the feather Adobe logo at the top of the pallet or by going to File > Adobe Online.
Overview of the tools
To view the name of a tool button, hold your mouse pointer over the tool you want to see, and the name will appear as a tool tip. (See the image right.) Some tool buttons have multiple tools combined into one button. Tool buttons with multiple tools have a small triangle in the lower right hand corner of the button. Right click and hold this button to view the alternate tools
Download pdf Introduction to PhotoshopDebugging PHP using Eclipse and PDTThe PHP Development Tools (PDT) plug-in, when installed with Eclipse Europa, gives you that ability to quickly write and debug PHP scripts and pages. PDT supports two debugging tools: XDebug and the Zend Debugger. Learn how to configure PDT for debugging PHP scripts and discover which perspectives you use when taking closer looks at your scripts.
This tutorial demonstrates how to configure the PHP Development Tools (PDT) plug-in for Eclipse to debug your PHP scripts. It also introduces the perspectives you'll use (namely, PHP Debug) when taking closer looks at your PHP scripts.
Objectives
After completing this tutorial, you'll be able to set up either XDebug — an open source project that allows you to debug executable scripts and scripts running on a Web server — or the Zend Debugger in Eclipse using the PDT project to develop PHP applications. You'll understand the various parts of the PDT project's PHP Debug perspective and learn how to set up, view, and work with breakpoints. You also learn how to inspect the values of variables as you are stepping through the code, as well as how to debug PHP Web applications on your local server so you can run through your PHP Web application with the debugger.
Prerequisites
To get the most out of this tutorial, you should have done a bit of PHP development. But what matters more is that you've done software development in general. You'll understand the debugging concepts better if you're familiar with debugging any other language. Download PDFCollaborative Storytelling in the Web 2.0Prosuming is one of the magic activities of the Web 2.0. The idea that media con- sumers can become media producers has been validated with all its pros and cons in systems like YouTube and Flickr.com. There is a re-newed discussion about expert and amateur cultures or even cults [3]. Especially, making movies was thought to be an area where only teams of highly specialized experts equipped with a lot of money can produce high quality movies with a world-wide audience. But next to Hollywood other production centers emerged like ”Bollywood” in India or ”Nollywood” in Nigeria with local practices. YouTube has proven that amateurishly produced content can fascinate people on the Internet.
We want to combine both worlds, multimedia production knowledge and Web 2.0 production knowledge shall be united for serving the knowledge sharing needs for a society who has not forgotten the power of stories, yet. In learning processes, the substantial challenge is also maintaining and extending learners’ expertise and knowledge. As stated in [2], way that people get information to solve problems is through their social networks. Moreover, people rely on other people to get information and learn. Some knowledge is easy to be acquired and mastered when it is not impersonal, because emotions might be involved and motivation is more clear. Storytelling is an efficient means to fulfill learning goals [11]. Knowledge is exchanged within communities when stories are told. Non-linear storytelling is kind of interaction between communities and media, in order to keep people by certainJAVA2EE TUTORIALThere are three main reasons for using the JAVA programming language over other choices: portability, simplicity of coding, and widespread use; especially in web development. Java is completely portable between different operating systems (Mac, Linux, and Windows). This is because the code you write is only partially finished after it is compiled by the programmer. The rest of the work is performed on the user’s computer using the Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
There is a JVM for each major operating system, and after being downloaded and installed by the user, it completes the Java code that the programmer wrote. The JVM adds in commands specific to the operating system it is installed on to make the program run correctly for that operating system. So the JVM for a Macintosh will add in Macintosh specific code and the JVM for Windows will add in Windows specific code.
This portability has lead to Java being used widely, especially for the web development industry. Since web based applications run on multiple operating systems it was essential to have a programming language, such as Java, that could run on any operating system. Today Java is everywhere, and is used for most major web applications.
Another factor is Java’s increased use is its simplicity of programming in comparison to other languages, especially C++. Java enforces error checking, eliminates pointers, cannot be written without using object oriented design, and prevents bad programming practices by building these functions directly into Java’s grammar. These features make Java a much simpler (andA Posteriori Defensive Programming: an Annotation Toolkit for DoS-resistant Component-Based ArchitecturesDenial-of-Service (DoS) attacks make a system unavailable to well-behaved users by consuming a disproportionate amount of resources on the target system. DoS typically exploit weakness in the software, for instance consuming the bandwidth of the victim’s network or overloading the computational resources of its system. A lot of factors are involved when trying to build DoS resistant software. To make things worse, most of them are typically unknown during the development of the application. Reasonable hypotheses can facilitate the prevention of such attacks, but new ones can always arise and be exploited to damage systems.
Researchers have studied the nature of these attacks [11, 7] and possible defense methodologies [12, 10], but building DoS resistant software still remains a challenging task. Building robust software can be achieved by adopting different techniques. For instance, in procedural or object-
