1. What is BibleWorks?
BibleWorks is a software package containing biblical and extrabiblical texts and lexical and grammatical resources for biblical research and exegesis BibleWorks does not translate or exegete a passage for you but offers many tools and features that can assist you in the study of biblical texts.
2. Orientation to BibleWorks.
BibleWorks has three windows, called the Search, Browse and Analysis Windows. The Search Window is made up of the Command Line and the Results Verse List Box. Combined with the Browse and Analysis Windows, these four main parts allow you to search, display and interact with the texts found in BibleWorks. The screenshot below is labeled with the names that you will find in this document and in the program's Online Help Contents, a manual that is accessible under Help on the main menu. Please take a moment to review and identify each of the labeled areas on your copy of BibleWorks. If you wish to discover more information about the function of these windows and the Command Line, place your mouse pointer over each one and then type the F1 key on your keyboard. The F1 key will cause BibleWorks automatically to open to the place in the online manual that discusses that item.
3. Display Versions vs. Search Version

A. First, connect the power adapter to the receptor at the back panel of the DI-724GU and then plug the other end of the power adapter to a wall outlet or power strip. The Power LED will turn ON to indicate proper operation.
B. 1. Power off your Cable or DSL modem; some devices may not have a on/off switch and will require you to unplug the power adapter. Now, the DI-724GU should be powered on and the Cable/DSL modem should be turned off.
2.Cable/DSLmodem(PowerOff)–DI-724GU(PowerOn)Connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet jack located on the Cable/DSL modem. After the Ethernet cable is securely connected, power on the Cable/DSL modem by turning on the unit or plugging in the power adapter.
3. Cable/DSL modem (Power On) – DI-724GU (Power On) Insert the other end of the Ethernet cable to the WAN PORT on the back panel of the DI-724GU. The WAN LED light will illuminate to indicate proper connection. If the WAN LED is not illuminated, please go back to step B1 and repeat the instructions.
C. Insert an Ethernet cable to LAN port 1 on the back panel of the DI-724GU and an available Ethernet port on the network adapter in the computer you will use to configure the DI-724GU. The LED light for LAN Port 1 will illuminate to indicate proper connection. Note: The LAN Ports on the DI-724GU are Auto-MDI/MDIX. Meaning you can use a straight-through or crossover Ethernet cable to the LAN Ports.
D. Computers equipped with 802.11g wireless adapters willRails HOW-TO: Authenticating with WebAuthHaving authenticated with WebAuth using an SSO username and password, the PHP script is executed. As you can see, the PHP script is passed a parameter which is the URL of a login page of a Rails application. The only thing the PHP script does is to redirect to that URL passing a parameter that is a base64 encoded string: https://www.abcd.ox.ac.uk:8113/apps/contacts/login?id=base64string The id parameter is the base64 encoded version of an encryption of the username and the current date and time.
The login method of the Rails application looks at the id parameter, decodes it and then unencrypts it. So it now has the username and the date and time. In order to avoid replay attacks, the Rails application checks that the date and time refers to a recent date and time. It also checks that the username is in a list of valid usernames. If both these tests are passed, it sets a session variable (session[:user_id]) to "OK"; otherwise, it is set to "BAD". Having authenticated, subsequent methods of the Rails application are executed in the usual way, i.e., by using the URL of the method, e.g.: https://www.abcd.ox.ac.uk:8113/apps/contacts/add
We need to alter the code of the controller of the Rails application so that it has a call of before_filter.
This call can ensure that a method called authenticate is called before any method of the Rails application is called. The authenticate method can be similar to the authenticate method introduced in the document Rails HOW-TO: Apache and Basic Authentication, which is available
