Content inside this Audi A4 2.0T WE’RE REMINDED THAT all-wheel drive isn’t just for getting up a snowy driveway in wintertime. Testing the new Audi A4 Quattro, we were passing a long line of traffic bottled up behind a truck on a two-lane highway. No worries until we came abreast of an SUV shuffling along immediately behind the 18-wheeler. As we drew alongside, without warning the driver simply yanked his vehicle into the left lane to pass. Accelerating hard, we flicked the Audi far onto the left shoulder, the two right wheels barely remaining on the pavement, and simply drove around the sport-ute, completing the pass without drama. Apart from solid whacks as the left wheels hit deep craters on the dirt shoulder and a shotgun blast of gravel peppering the floorpan, the episode was over in momentsand barely noticeable. That’s the advantage of having all four wheels pulling for you, backed by a world-class Electronic Stability Control system. • Writing Secure ASP Scripts
  • This paper briefly describes several common classes of coding error generally encountered when auditing web applications running on the Active Server Pages (ASP) platform. The paper is broken down into three broad sections, each of which addresses several common coding problems. The following is a list of the common errors that are discussed in this document, divided into three broad categories. The remainder of the document deals with each of these problems in turn. Any ASP code samples assume that the default language is VBScript, but all of the points apply equally to JavaScript. Equally, all occurrences of the SQL language assume that Microsoft SQL Server is being used as the back – end database. Input validation Insufficient validation of fields in SQL queries Email handling problems Parent path problems Predictability and secure management of state Poor randomness Predictable session identifiers Session state manipulation bugs Poor credential management Source maintenance problems Improper source and data file maintenance Debug code Hardcoded credentials Error messages/error handling Classes of problem Input validation Input validation errors are probably the most common form of problem encountered when auditing ASP applications. Three of the most common classes of input validation error are: Insufficient validation of fields in SQL queries Email handling problems Parent path problems We will address each of these classes of error in turn. • Create dynamic sites with PHP & MySQL
  • This tutorial shows you how to use two open source, cross-platform tools for creating a dynamic Web site: PHP and MySQL. When we are finished, you will know how dynamic sites work and how they serve the content, and you will be ready to serve your own dynamic content from your site. The need for dynamic content The Web is no longer static; it's dynamic. As the information content of the Web grows, so does the need to make Web sites more dynamic. Think of an e-shop that has 1,000 products. The owner has to create 1,000 Web pages (one for each product), and whenever anything changes, the owner has to change all those pages. Ouch!!! Wouldn't it be easier to have only one page that created and served the content on the fly from the information about the products stored in a database, depending on the client request? Nowadays sites have to change constantly and provide up-to-date news, information, stock prices, and customized pages. PHP and SQL are two ways to make your site dynamic. PHP PHP is a robust, server-side, open source scripting language that is extremely flexible and actually fun to learn. PHP is also cross platform, which means your PHP scripts will run on Unix, Linux, or an NT server. MySQL SQL is the standard query language for interacting with databases. MySQL is an open source, SQL database server that is more or less free and extremely fast. MySQL is also cross platform. Download pdf Create dynamic sites with PHP & MySQL

  • Now every 1 MHz CPU total frequency can choose to overclock. The difference between STEPEASY II and STEPEASY is that the former Stepless Overclocking with System Monitoring at Every Step - Legend QDI STEPEASY II It is not a year yet since Legend QDI STEPEASY technology has been released. Now Legend QDI has recommended the new STEPEASY II technology. It is released together with RECOVERYEASY II, LOGOEASY II and SPEEDEASY II at the IT COMDEX grand occasion that drew world attention this year. STEPEASY II is completely compatible with STEPEASY, having a stepless frequency conveion function, and can operate in a number of prevalent operating systems including WINDOWS 95/98/ME/NT/2000 and the most recently released WINDOWS XP. It realizes the change of CPU operating frequency in a short time of only a few seconds and improves the system operating performance without any need of restart- ing the computer or opening the casing to set up the jumper setting. The use of STEPEASY technology has broken through the limits of traditional technologies and renovated the status of traditional overclocking having only a few choices Download PDF
  • Aspects of AJAX
  • The basic elements for an application using the AJAX technologies, JavaScript and the XMLHttpRequest object, are not difficult to understand and there are many articles on the web that show how to use this object and declare that being AJAX. I think there are a lot more topics that should be understood and talked about. The right selection from the available technologies as well as a suitable abstraction in using these elements is important for the success of the realization of an application. One main goal behind the architecture of the AJAX engine was to build an AJAX framework that you can reuse every time you want some asynchronous processing or when you need a smart way to refresh information on the current web page. When targeting applications with some hundred sides and WebServices and with in sum about a thousand methods the developer must have a clear and simple kind and pattern for coding the JavaScript code on the client to avoid errors and to not think about the implementation details. Only by using a simple approach a good quality and maintenance can be achieved. The idea of the AJAX engine on the client is the simplification of the implementation of the code that we need for implementing a specific functionality on the client. Like with the WebService framework of ASP.NET on the server the details of communication over SOAP on the client are completely hidden from the developer and also the recurring code portion is only realized once in a central
