PHP Leads Web 2.0Everyone is currently talking about Web 2.0, it is the next big thing in the IT industry. But most people have only a vague idea of what Web 2.0 is about — and what it is not. They tend to think of Web 2.0 as a collection of websites and fancy web-based applications. What they don’t see is the shift of paradigm that Web 2.0 brings — and the emergence of new technologies under the surface.
Defining Web 2.0
If you ask 20 people in the IT industry to define what Web 2.0 is, it is most likely that you will receive 20 different answers. This shows one of the main problems when talking about it: Web 2.0 is not a fixed standard or product, and the viewpoint of the individual influences his perception of Web 2.0. For consumers or journalists outside the industry, Web 2.0 is a number of applications, websites and interfaces — Google, Flickr.com or even eBay. From a developer’s perspective, it is a collection of APIs, formats and code. And a CIO or CTO of a large company might see a new approach for software architecture that helps him to improve his application landscape.
But it is hard to write an article about a new trend without giving a proper definition of it, isn’t it? Though my definition is definitely subjective, I tried to find some least common denominators. In my opinion, Web 2.0 usually includes one or more of these elements:
• Rich Web Applications are most likely builtDeepening the Chasm: Web 2.0, Gaming, and Course Management SystemsDuring the past decade, a gap has appeared between higher education and the rest of the digital world. While academia has moved a great deal of content and activity into course management systems, the World Wide Web has developed a new architecture, usually dubbed “Web 2.0.” Around this time computer gaming has grown into a vital, global industry. Course management system(s) (CMS) have supported a very different world of computermediated communication, and nearly a decade of institutional and individual practice has deepened the difference. We argue that CMS are going to make some efforts to cross that chasm in the near future, but the overall gap is likely to persist.
We can glimpse the chasm’s current depths by outlining these two recent cybercultural movements. First, at this point in the World Wide Web’s existence, the quantitative successes of Web 2.0 are wellknown. The blogosphere continues to double in size, now aiming for 100 million active blogs. The wiki world booms, from the rise of Google’s wiki platform (Google Docs) to Wikipedia’s steady expansion (2,389,339 articles in English, as of this writing). Podcasting also grows. According to one measure, 18.5 million people listened to podcasts in 2007, an amount likely to break 30 million by the end of this year. Use ATM to delete text objects, clear text values, replace text values, find and replace text values, and set the case of text values (upper, lower, proper). ATM runs very quickly and can process thousands of drawing files with the click of only one button! ATM is compatible with AutoCAD drawing versions 2000 and above.
An individual user license is only $99.95 and a site license (unlimited number of users per building) is only $499.95. To order from RegNow go to https://www.regnow.com/softsell/nph-softsell.cgi?item=4459-51
2. Running ATM To load ATM click Window’s Start Button > All Programs > AutoCAD Text Modifier The name of the application executable file is ATM.EXE and is located in folder C:Program FilesATM
3. Viewing single line text values in an AutoCAD drawing (DWG) file Double-click on the drawing name in the left window to create an HTML file of single line text values.
If single line text values exist in the drawing the HTML file will be created and opened in your default HTML file viewer (such as Internet Explorer). The text values are in the last column.

System is engaged when A/C switch on control panel is pressed. See Fig. 1. Pressure switch on accumulator cycles compressor clutch on and off. Blower fan speed is controlled by sliding switch on lower left of A/C-heater control panel.
Airflow modes are controlled by center knob on A/C-heater control panel. Mode doors are controlled by cables on left side of climate control unit. See Fig. 2. Temperature blend (air mix) doors, located on driver and passenger side respectively, is selected by left or right knob on A/C-heater control panel. Doors are controlled by cables on left side and center of climate control unit.
Fresh/recirculated air is selected by switch to lower right of mode knob on A/C-heater control panel. Door is controlled by recirculation motor on upper half of climate control unit. Air conditioning system will only operate above 32 £ F (0 £ C). Blower switch must be in position "1" or higher to engage compressor.
A/C compressor is connected in series with the low-pressure switch, high-pressure switch, and safety switch. The high-pressure and safety switch cut power to the A/C compressor if pressure in the A/C high-pressure circuit becomes excessive, supplying a signal to ECM to start cooling fan. Low-pressure switch (pressostat) turns A/C compressor on and off to maintain pressure within limits.

Such Web2.0 systems have a significant amount of user generated content, and have become an important new way to publish information, engage in discussions and form communities on the Internet. Their reach and impact is significant with tens of millions of people providing content on a regular basis around the world. Governments, corporations, traditional media companies and NGOs are working to understand how to adapt to them and use them effectively.
Citizens, both young and old, are also discovering how social media technology can improve their lives and give them more voice in the world. We must better under- stand the information ecology of these new publication methods in order to make them and the information they provide more useful, trustworthy and reliable. Doing this requires mining such systems to find communities based on a combination of topic, bias, and underlying beliefs; authors and blogs are most influential within a given community; from where do particular beliefs or ideas originate and how do they spread; what are the most trustworthy sources of information about a particular topic; and what opinions and beliefs characterize a community and how do these opinions change. The Blogosphere is part of the Web and therefore shares most of it’s general characteristics. It differs, however, in some ways that impact how we can model it and use the model to help extract information from it.HOBOware Lite User's Guide - MacintoshHOBOware Lite software is used for launching, reading out, and plotting data from HOBO data loggers.
