Download PDF ManualSubversion Integration for Visual StudioVisualSVN is a transparent integration of the Subversion version control system to the Visual Studio development environment. VisualSVN allows you to take full control on any changes in the project that are made by you or your colleagues. With VisualSVN you can easily see the full history of modifications and restore previous versions of your project. So, you can treat it as a “smart time machine”.
VisualSVN is built on the base of the Subversion open source version control system that is a de-facto standard storage system for software projects. There are a lot of tools and services available for Subversion such as code review systems and hosting providers. With VisualSVN you can use these tools and services without limitations.
What is Subversion?
Subversion is a centralized multiuser version control system. Project files and full history of modifications are stored in a repository. The repository can be located both on a server, and on a local computer.
Each developer has his own copy of the project on the local computer, which is called the working copy. You can freely make any changes in your working copy, such as modifying files, adding new files, renaming files and folders and so on. And you don't even need a permanent connection to the repository. For example, you can work on your laptop on a plane. When a logical bundle of modifications is ready, you can upload it to the repository as a single atomic commit. Subversion automatically prevents overwrites of modifications that are made by another developer.Dwarf's Guide to Debian GNU/LinuxThe major difference between the Debian distribution and other Linux distributions that are currently available is its open development model. This is not, however, the only difference between Debian and the other distributions.
The second, equally important difference, is Debian’s strict adherence to the “Free Software” ideal. It is quite impressive, when you think about it, that this distribution is composed of freely redistributable software, complete with source code. Now, most other distributions also supply source code and these same programs, but they will also put packages into their distributions that can not be redistributed under certain conditions, without any concern for the legal problems that they deliver to their customer. Users of the Debian distribution can be assured that what they find in that distribution will have no constraints on the free distribution and modification of that software, leaving them free to build “value added” systems from this Distribution without fear that they will find themselves in court for misuse of someone else’s intellectual property.
Debian provides areas within the archives for packages that do not meet these rigid standards, but are desired by the Debian community. Because of its free software status, the Debian packaging system can be used to package software that does not meet its own standards for free distribution.
Packages that are not freely distributable are found in the non-free section of the distribution. An additional category, called contrib is for those packages that would otherwise be free, except that they depend on some other package that isLinux Services and Basic CommandTo change file server user canon password please enter the command : smbpasswd

SELECTING A VoIP SOLUTION @ THE ENTERPRISE EDGE Comparing alternatives for enterprise VoIP and VoIP access. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The selection of an enterprise VoIP solution is a major decision. Voice service is critical to the opera- tion of the business, so no one wants to implement a technology that will compromise call quality or reliability in any way. On the other hand, the cost savings and value-added functionality available with VoIP makes it a compelling investment. So VoIP buye must select a VoIP platform that maximizes business benefits while minimizing potential technology ownehip headaches. Adding to the difficulty in making a purchase decision is the broad range of vendor offerings on the mar- ket. In general, these offerings can be segmented into two categories: low-end VoIP gateways and high- end router-based solutio. Low-end gateways are tempting because of their low upfront cost. However, they lack many important capabilities that are essential for VoIP to work as required in

If you received any of these items, follow the instructions provided in this guide for basic installation. If you need further assistance installing these items, please contact your service provider.
Devices such as fax machines, caller ID boxes, or phones that share the same phone line as your DSL account require a line filter, which prevents noise from disrupting the DSL signal on the phone line. Filters can be in the form of a stand-alone line filter or a wall-mount filter.
Stand-alone Line Filter
For each device that shares the DSL phone line:
1. Unplug the device’s cord from the phone jack.
2. Plug the filter into the phone jack.
3. Plug the phone cord (or other device cord) into the filter.
Wall-mount Filter
For a wall-mount phone, install a wall-mount filter.
1. Remove the phone.
2. Connect the wall-mount filter
to the wall plate.
3. Reconnect the phone

One goal of the project is to make a large number of Java simulations available for education using the GNU Open-Source model. This manual describes some of the classes and interfaces that are being used in this project.
Portions of Open Source Physics are being incorporated into the following:
• Java edition of An Introduction to Computer Simulation Methods by Harvey Gould, Jan Tobochnik, and Wolfgang Christian.
• Statistical and Thermal Physics project by Harvey Gould and Jan Tobochnik.
• Easy Java Simulations high-level modelling tool by Francisco Esquembre.
• Tracker video analysis program by Doug Brown.
Programmers wishing to adopt Open Source Physics tools for their own projects are encouraged to do so provided that these projects release their source code under the GNU Open-Source GPL license. Open Source Physics code is being distributed using CVS from the SourceForge web site:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/os-physics/
Additional curricula material and links are available from the Open Source Physics server hosted at Davidson College
Download pdf Open Source Physics: A User's Guide with ExamplesUsing the Microsoft Visual Basic Macro EMM_MACROThis macro was written in Microsoft Visual Basic for use with Microsoft Excel. It computes cross-sectional geometric properties from biplanar radiographic images using the eccentric ellipse model (EEM) described in detail by Milgrom et al. (1989) and Ohman (1993). The Macro was first implemented in: O’Neill MC, Ruff CB. 2004. Estimating human long bone cross-sectional geometric properties: a comparison of noninvasive methods. J. Hum. Evol. 47:???-???
A. General Instructions
The EMM_Macro is very simple and works in the same manner as a cell function. To begin, enter your data in the columns G through N:
AP
ap
ac
pc
ML
ml
mc
lc
AP = anteriorposterior external breadth
ap = anteriorposterior breadth of medullary cavity. Computed automatically as AP-(ac+pc).
Leave blank (see below for explanation).
ac = anterior cortical thickness
pc = posterior cortical thickness
ML = mediolateral external breadth
ml = mediolateral breadth of the medullary cavity. Computed automatically as ML-(mc+lc).
Leave blank (see below for explanation).
mc = medial cortical thickness
lc = lateral cortical thickness
Once the data is entered the Macro is implemented by going to TOOLS, scrolling down to MACRO, and then clicking on MACROS. Make sure “EccentricEllipseMacro” is highlighted and then click RUN. This will compute the cross-sectional geometric properties using the eccentric ellipse model for 150 sections.
