eStatement User GuideeStatement is a service provided by your institution to allow you to view your documents through the Internet. As an eStatement user, you have a personalized eStatement home page that you can use to access all the documents archived for you by your institution. In addition, your institution can send you an email notification each time a new document is available.
How Can I Access My eStatement?
You can access your eStatement home page and documents through the Internet in several ways.
1. By e-mail notification. As an eStatement customer, you can opt to regularly receive e-mails when your document is available. To access the document, simply click the link to the document in the e-mail you receive.
2. By adding a bookmark. You can access eStatement at any time by opening your browser to your eStatement web address. You may want to bookmark your eStatement home page in your browser to return to it in the future.
3. By a link on your institution’s home page. Contact your institution if you do not know where the link is located.
When you access your eStatement page, you may need to provide a username and password to access your home page

The organization business cycle changed from 7 years in 1970-1980 to 12-18 months in the 90’s, and is even shorter nowadays. This change, transformed the organization world in a new and complex reality.
To be able to deal with this reality, organizations put a big pressure in the information access and information became the organization most valuable asset. But this asset, information object, as some main characteristics: exists in larges quantities, as many different ways, is very volatile, must have confidentially, must have integrity, must have availability, in resume, can be very difficult to handle.
It’s clear that managing this information reality is only possible with the adoption of information technologies and planning that adoption is a central need in order to get the correct solution for the problem.
1.1. Background
Many studies mention that planning information systems is the major challenge for information systems managers (Hsu, 1995) and the organization information reality confirms that. Planning can be defined as “the activity in organizations life where is defined the future wanted for the information system and the way how this system should be supported by the information and communications technologies in order to achieve that support”(Amaral, 1994). Actual information systems planning deals with impact and alignment trying to change organizations with the use of technology, with impact planning or changing business, with alignment planning.
1.2. Alternatives

How to set the PATH variable
WINDOWS: Right-click on “My computer” and choose “Properties” from the appearing context menu. Switch to the tab “Advanced” in the appearing window. Click the button “Environment Variables” on the bottom left of the window. You will see a list of variables with their assigned values. If the PATH variable already occurs in it, select it and click “Edit”. Append a semicolon to the end of the value field and then enter the path to your Java binary directory. This is usually something like “C:Program FilesJavajdk1.6.0 04bin”. If the Path contains any white spaces, make sure you put it in double quotes. If the variable PATH didn’t exist yet on your system, create a new one and call it “PATH”. Assign the binary path as it’s value. However you don’t need the semicolon in this case.

PCL allows a user to describe a tag layout to a printer. Also PCL allows a user to send multiple sets of information to a printer. These sets of information will be printed using either a tag layout that was sent to the printer using PCL or a tag layout that is stored on the printer.
A tag layout is known as a format. A format contains all the physical descriptions of a tag or label. These descriptions include tag size, sense mark position, field positions, field types, field sizes, etc..., everything the printer needs to know in order to build and print the tag or label. The formats can be sent to a printer using PCL just prior to the information that is to be printed or the formats can reside in the printer. If the formats reside in the printer then PCL is only needed to send the information that is to be printed.
The multiple sets of information are known as Batch Data or just Batches. Batches consist of character data sent to the printer in the order specified by the format. This information is plugged into the format and a tag is created. The number of tags to be printed using this information is known as the quantity. The quantity is also sent with the batch data.

Passwords Remain the Weakest Link in the Security Chain
Surprisingly, in most organizations, authentication is still based on passwords only, regardless of how sophisticated their use of Active Directory otherwise may be. Ideally, in a pure Windows 2000 / XP environment, Windows clients use NTLM 2 or Kerberos to protect authentication requests, which is certainly a great improvement compared to the old LM or NTLM 1 protocols. Yet, by default and for backwards compatibility, Windows clients will revert to the old, weaker protocols if required to do so by one of the nodes involved.
