Web-enabled RCP Applications with the Rich Ajax PlatformThe AJAX hype keeps growing. Buzzwords like Comet or RIA are on everybody’s lips. In the area of enterprise software RCP is already firmly established as a client application platform. Replacing or extending existing Rich-Client-Applications with web front-ends has traditionally required a significant investment. The Rich Ajax Platform (RAP) provides a fast-path bridge between the application development with RCP and the increasingly important Web 2.0 environment
How do I get my RCP-Application on the Web? This question is asked more and more these days. Besides pure provisioning solutions like Java Web Start there are different approaches that use Eclipse Equinox on the server and recreate the user interface using JSPs or similar technologies. This approach has the disadvantage of a reduced code reuse in the UI, since it is almost impossible to recreate the workbench concept and the familiar extension points with different technologies. This is remedied by RAP, a web-platform that can execute regular RCP applications with few restrictions. This gives developers the opportunity to take an existing RCP application and deliver it as an “ajaxified” web application with a small effort, without coming into contact with Servlets, HTML or JavaScript. With it, RCP concepts like Views, Perspectives or Wizards can be put into web applications.
The First Steps
In order to become familiar with RAP we will start by installing and starting the available demo application. To do this, we download a new RAP version from the project's homepage [1] and unpack it in any directory. RAP is being delivered asNokia Standard Document TemplateA Guide to Mobile Photography. Despite free software developers’ best efforts, new proprietary software continues to proliferate. Improved techniques must be developed to reverse engineer efficiently closed data formats so that free, interoperable solutions can be deployed under Linux.
Software reverse engineering occurs on various levels. It may be necessary to study a piece of poorly written, poorly commented code developed in a high-level language such as C++ and understand what the original program was supposed to accomplish. It may also be necessary to disassemble a program that has been compiled into machine language and express it as a higher-level language. In doing this, the underlying algorithms can eventually be expressed as higher-level concepts in a human language. After obtaining an algorithmic description via reverse engineering, the algorithm can be reimplemented for any language on any computing platform.
Scope
This paper discusses the technical issues and challenges surrounding software reverse engineering. This topic has always been the subject of much legal and ethical controversy, particularly with respect to such intellectual property ideas such as patents, trade secrets, and software ownership. However, that discussion is outside the scope of this paper.
Motivation
The Linux operating system, as well as free and open source software in general, has made extraordinary strides in the computer world in the past decade. Once confined to the back office server, Linux has become a more viable option for desktop computing. However, in order to create a desktop computing platform (and in some respects, a server)Cisco IOS Firewall Intrusion Detection SystemCisco Systems has more than 200 offices in the following countries and regions. Get PDFTutorial of SQL Power Injector 1.11. DO YOU WANT TO LOAD A SESSION?
We start the tutorial with that question since you might have already initiated a session before and just want to reuse it. If it’s the case then your answer is YES – GO TO STEP 9. If you have never saved any session your answer is NO – GO TO STEP 2. In other times you do not want to load any session or wish to start from scratch then your answer is NO – GO TO STEP 2.
HINT 1
To save session can be a real time saver when you want to get back to your tests exactly where you were when you stopped. Or just to save the session with different values.
HINT 2
Once the session is saved it is possible to go modify it directly in the XML file. There you can either change some values, remove some of them, update a JSESSIONID or even add a new form! Keep in mind that this file could be more useful than just a session repository.
HINT 3
If you are making tests with a web site using Java which keeps the web site context with a session id it is possible to update the cookie directly in the XML file. What you need to do is to modify the value of SubmitUri in the HtmlForm tag with the current session id. To do so you need to add a semi-colon (;) with the java session id right before the web page name and right beforeiPod shuffle User's Guide (Manual)Then insert the Apple Earphones, press Play on iPod shuffle, and enjoy! ...This guide has information about using iTunes to transfer music to iPod shuffle.

Download PDF 60-66 Tech tips ManualWeb 2.0 in 2008Applications manufacturers today offer tools that allow companies to reap all of the potential benefits of Web 2.0. Behind most of these initiatives lies a simple yet very promising idea for the corporate world. Without installing “in house” software (that is under the cloud computing format), companies can capitalize on these free on-line services for a series of activities requiring coordination or collaboration. These include organizing meetings, sharing contacts and documents, and creating communities. Furthermore, integration with social networks allows companies to get to know their clients and their preferences better in order to choose the ideal candidates. In this sense, it seems logical to assume that Web 2.0 will undergo a strong new surge due to its commitment to mobility, and specific applications are already coming out on the market.
In general, Spanish companies have been slow to jump onto the bandwagon. There are a few exceptions, though. One of the most noteworthy of these is Actibva, the Web 2.0 platform launched by BBVA that is designed to inform users about the evolution of financial markets and foment relationships among parties interested in savings and economic topics from the viewpoint of markets as well as the personal finances. BBVA’s team of specialized journalists selects news according to completely independent criteria and offers its own views in the Actibva blog. As such, users can vote on news items and introduce their own commentaries.
Beyond this example, there are a few interesting Web 2.0 initiatives gathering force among younger Spanish companies. One of
