Activote Quick Start QuideActivote is Promethean’s integrated personal response system that is designed to encourage student participation and enhance learning. This could be as straightforward as determining whether pupils are following a lesson, or it could be the basis for planned discussion. And it's all done by asking students to make a choice and press a button. Capturing student responses when they are questioned can be a powerful tool in influencing the direction of a lesson or the planning of future work. Activote allows the answers of each pupil to be saved for retrieval later - individually or as a class. Results can also be exported to Excel for record keeping and further analysis where appropriate.
Flexibility is key in any learning environment, which is why Activote can be used in several ways. Integrated into Promethean’s software, it can be used ad-hoc, allowing teachers to ask unplanned questions as they occur. However, it also works effortlessly over any application or website. Similarly, teachers can choose between using the supplied pre-prepared content and easily making their own with the aid of the built-in Question Master Wizard.

Download Neo Ion Instruction ManualThe Anatomy of a Large-Scale Hypertextual Web Search Engine PDFWe present Google, a prototype of a large-scale search engine which makes heavy use of the structure present in hypertext. Google is designed to crawl and index the Web efficiently and produce much more satisfying search results than existing systems. The prototype with a full text and hyperlink database of at least 24 million pages is available at http://google.stanford.edu/ To engineer a search engine is a challenging task. Search engines index tens to hundreds of millions of web pages involving a comparable number of distinct terms. They answer tens of millions of queries every day. Despite the importance of large-scale search engines on the web, very little academic research has been done on them. Furthermore, due to rapid advance in technology and web proliferation, creating a web search engine today is very different from three years ago.
This paper provides an in-depth description of our large-scale web search engine — the first such detailed public description we know of to date. Apart from the problems of scaling traditional search techniques to data of this magnitude, there are new technical challenges involved with using the additional information present in hypertext to produ e better search results. This paper addresses this question of how to build a practical large-scale system which can exploit the additional information present in hypertext. Also we look at the problem of how to effectively deal with uncontrolled hypertext collections where anyone can publish anything they want.

It’s just human nature to look for unusual and new stuff. But, what does that mean for business applications?
Let’s look at Google Maps. Yes, we are all excited by Google Maps. It looks great. It is very interactive. And, most importantly, it behaves completely differently from what we expect to see in a “normal” browser. But, compared to any realistic business application – say something like trivial Internet banking – Google Maps is nothing. It supports just a few use cases compared to the hundreds or thousands of use cases for a typical business application.
How many input fields does it have? How many validation rules? How complex is the business process and page flow? Anybody could build Google Maps using any kind of technology, but business application developers face completely different challenges, challenges that are much more demanding!
What does Web 2.0 mean for the present world:
Web 2.0 is a phrase that is coined by O'Reilly Media in 2004, referring to the second generation Internet-based services. So this explains how to turn a 3d studio model into a real thing made up of laminates of card, paper, ply, Perspex whatever you want. This tutorial assumes a basic knowledge of 3DS Max an AutoCAD.
It’s worth using the measure distance tool in the tools menu to see how big it is, then measuring your hand or foot or something so you actually have an idea about how big it's going to come out.
Once you are happy with an object that you have designed in max and want to actually see what it looks like then you need to make a decision about what you are going to make it out of. as the model is going to be made up of layers the thickness of the material will affect the curve resolution, there will be steps in one direction, so the thinner the layers the finer the curve resolution, but the more layers, so more work and more material.
As the layers are going to sit on top of each other they will need to have some sort of key or registering point to make sure they line up in the same place as they did on the computer model. the easiest wayBMW R1100, R1150, R1200 Maintenance InformationBMW Cheat Sheet Tire Pressures Front Rear (psi / bar) R1200C 34 / 2.35 36 / 2.5 R1100S 37 / 2.55 40 / 2.75 R1150R, GS 38 / 2.6 40 / 2.75 R1150RT 40 / 2.75 42 / 2.9 Engine Oil 4 qts Final Drive 250 ml Transmission: R bikes 850 ml R1200C 1000 ml (850 ml+ 150ml) 850 on center stand, then 150 on the side-stand. Wearing your safety belt during a crash helps reduce your chance of hitting things inside the vehicle or being ejected from it. Air bags are “supplemental restraints” to the safety belts. All air bags are designed to work with safety belts, but don’t replace them. Air bags are designed to work only in moderate to severe crashes where the front of your vehicle hits something.
They aren’t designed to inflate at all in rollover, rear, side or low-speed frontal crashes. And, for unrestrained occupants, air bags may provide less protection in frontal crashes than more forceful air bags have provided in the past. Everyone in your vehicle should wear a safety belt properly — whether or not there’s an air bag for that person.
