  • 10 BAR Underwater Housings are small, light and rugged enough to be used on every dive. Use of clear polycarbonate allows for visual inspection of camera condition and the O-ring seal. 10 BAR Housings are designed for the ever-increasing variety of models of digital still and video cameras. Advanced computer aided design and CNC manufacturing technologies ensure precise dimensions. Each housing body is first injection molded, and then machined to configure to individual camera model. A range of lens ports and controls are fitted, to tailor the housing to your camera model. Air Lock: The body and lid are designed with the Air Lock System “no clip” closure arrangement. Testing has shown that this arrangement allow the water to exert an even pressure on the O-ring, Increase the reliability of the watertight seal. Pressure release plug To open the housing, the pressure release plug must be first unscrewed and then pulled out all the way (Counter-clockwise) (Fig 1). This provides a passage for the air to pass though and eliminate the pressure different between the inside of the housing and the ambient. The plug consists of an internal double O-ring seal on the stainless steel slide shaft. These internal O-rings form the watertight seal. There is also a large outer O -ring under the knob. This O-ring serves to prevent contamination of the slide shaft, with dirt, salt etc., and is not required for watertight integrity. If this O-ring should become detached, it can simply be pushed back in place. Download pdf Nikon D80 Camera

  • Transparent Web Security:. Server-Gated Cryptography. www.yankeegroup.com. Security Solutions & Services. by Phebe Waterfield CISSP. September 2005 This special report, commissioned by VeriSign, tests SGC- and non-SGC-enabled certificates in 92 common environments to determine under what conditio use benefit from strong encryption. As Exhibit 1 illustrates, SGC-enabled certificates enable more Windows 2000 use to connect with 128-bit encryption. This difference mea te of millio more internet use worldwide would get 128-bit encryption or higher if all e-commerce vendo used SGC-enabled certificates. © Copyright 1997-2005. • A living cell can be viewed as a dynamical system in which a large number of different substances react continuously and non-linearly with one another. In order to understand the behavior of a continuous non-linear dynamical system with numerous interacting parts, it is usually insufficient to study behavior of each part in isolation. Instead, the behavior must usually be analyzed as a whole (Tomita et al., 1999). Considerable amounts of time-domain data are now becoming available concerning the concentration of biologically important chemicals in living organisms. Such data include both gene expression data (obtained from microarrays) and data on the concentration of substances participating in metabolic pathways (Ptashne, 1992; McAdams and Shapiro, 1995; Loomis and Sternberg, 1995; Arkin et al., 1997; Yuh et al., 1998; Liang et al., 1998; Mendes and Kell, 1998; D’haeseleer et al., 1999). The concentrations of substrates, products, and catalysts (e.g., enzymes) participating in chemical reactions are modeled by non-linear continuous-time differential equations, such as the Michaelis-Menten equations (Voit, 2000). The question arises as to whether it is possible to start with observed time-domain concentrations of substances and automatically create both the topology of the network of chemical reactions and the rates of each reaction that produced the observed data — that is, to automatically reverse engineer the network from the data. Genetic programming (Koza et al., 1999a) is a method for automatically creating a computer program whose behavior satisfies certain high-level requirements. Recent work has demonstrated that genetic programming can automatically create complex networks that exhibit prespecified behavior

  • Windows 7 to Swim in Windows Live + Yahoo? Where Will Vista SP1 and XP SP3 Fit?
  • Traditionally, Microsoft's core business has been focused on the Windows platform and the Office suite. Windows and Office, by all means, continue to be the heart of Microsoft. The latest versions of the flagship products, Windows Vista and the Office 2007 System, made available to the public at the end of January 2007, have fueled the vast majority of the company's most recent fiscal second quarter record financial results of $16.37 billion in revenue, and $6.48 billion in operating income. With Office SP1 out of the way at the end of 2007, Microsoft is currently building Windows Vista Service Pack 1, Windows XP Service Pack 3 and Windows 7 client platforms, as well as putting the finishing touches on Windows Server 2008. But on February 1st, 2008, the Redmond company managed to steal the show away from its flagship products with the $44.6 billion cash and stock unsolicited acquisition proposal directed at Yahoo. Enjoying a continual near-monopoly on the desktop with Windows and Office, and pushing hard on the server side with the new lineup of Windows Server, SQL Server, ISS7 and PHP against Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP, and with the entertainment division starting to pick up steam, Microsoft is now turning to the Internet. In the Cloud, the Redmond company is the indisputable underdog. And with the rival Internet giant from Mountain View hugging the online advertising and search engine markets, Microsoft is now doing a tad of hugging itself: bear hugging. Microsoft has been looking to acquire Yahoo
