Diesel 101 Manual PDFWhat do you do when your diesel needs attention? Don’t call a mechanic. Learn how to care for it yourself. A friend of mine who I considered to be a knowledgeable, experienced boater recently made a remark in passing that startled me: “The most important tool in my toolbox is my checkbook.” He was serious. Everytime he noticed a drop of lube oil or antifreeze in his bilge or that his engines didn’t sound the way they should, he’d call his mechanic.
He said it wasn’t worth his time to investigate problems himself. “That’s fine,” I said, “but you often cruise for several weeks, right? So...

Download PDFDeveloping WebLogic Server ApplicationsThis document is written for application developers who want to build WebLogic Server e-commerce applications using the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) from Sun Microsystems. It is assumed that readers know Web technologies, object-oriented programming techniques, and the Java programming language.
WebLogic Server applications are created by Java programmers, Web designers, and application assemblers. Programmers and designers create modules that implement the business and presentation logic for the application. Application assemblers assemble the modules into applications that are ready to deploy on WebLogic Server.
WebLogic Server implements Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) version 1.3 technologies (http://java.sun.com/j2ee/sdk_1.3/index.html). J2EE is the standard platform for developing multi-tier Enterprise applications based on the Java programming language. The technologies that make up J2EE were developed collaboratively by Sun Microsystems and other software vendors, including BEA Systems.
WebLogic Server J2EE applications are based on standardized, modular components. WebLogic Server provides a complete set of services for those modules and handles many details of application behavior automatically, without requiring programming. J2EE defines module behaviors and packaging in a generic, portable way, postponing run-time configuration until the module is actually deployed on an application server.
J2EE includes deployment specifications for Web applications, EJB modules, Enterprise applications, client applications, and connectors. J2EE does not specify how an application is deployed on the target server—only how a standard module or application is packaged. For each module type, the specifications define the files required and their location in the directory structure.
Note: Because J2EE is backward compatible, you can still run J2EE 1.3 applicationsSetting Options and Customising Microsoft Excel 2002Like all Microsoft Office products, Excel allows you to customise various settings to suit your own requirements. Whereas Microsoft Word has a default template called normal.dot, Excel has a special file called Excel.xlb in which your settings are stored. Note that not all settings are stored here, however - for example, each file has its own colour palette.
Perhaps the most useful customisation centres around the toolbars and menus. You can decide which toolbars to display (and where you would like them positioned on the screen). If you want to, you can remove, add or rearrange the buttons on a toolbar (or the commands in a menu). You can even create your own toolbars and menus, adding either built-in commands or your own (using macros - see Writing Macros in Microsoft Excel 2003 for further information).
Another common area of customisation concerns charts. You can create your own chart types and change the palette of colours used on charts. Defining your own types lets you apply a given layout to a set of charts - eg for a particular publication or thesis. While on the subject of colours, you can also modify the default colour palette used for fonts and filling cells.
A further aspect of customisation centres around customised lists. A few lists are built into the system (eg the days of the week and months of the year) but you can create your own. These can then be used to fill further cells or to sort data in a particular order.Mercedez Benz Viano Brochures PDFThe information contained in this brochure applies to the German market and was correct at the time of going to press (01.08.03). When displayed on a large monitor, the Ribbon will adjust to show the “large versions” of groups in the Ribbon. When displayed on a small monitor, or when the user chooses to manually reduce the size of the application window, the Ribbon will adjust to show the “small versions” of groups in the Ribbon. The Ribbon is not designed for a particular display resolution. The Ribbon simply provides the best arrangement of the controls for the application and displays that arrangement appropriately for every possible size of the application window.
The figure below illustrates how the layouts of controls on Microsoft Word’s Insert Tab change when the application window is horizontally resized. Note that some controls change from being displayed as large controls to being displayed as small controls when the Ribbon is narrower. Also note that some text labels for controls are removed from the Ribbon when the Ribbon is narrower.
DEFINING GROUPS FOR RIBBON RESIZING
1. Resizing the width of the application window MUST change the layout of controls on the Ribbon.
2. The layout of controls on the Ribbon MUST change in real-time when the application window is resized by dragging with the mouse. The change in the layout of controls on the Ribbon MUST NOT be delayed until after the application window has been resized and the left mouse button is released.

DownloadTutorial SSH File Transfer (RCI) ManualIn the interest of security and information integrity, Rutgers University has implemented several new changes in the ways to upload, share, and send files via your RCI account. Files must be transferred via secure means; you will no longer be able to upload files via programs such as CuteFTP or WS_FTP. SSH Secure File Transfer is the default program will you find available on all university computers.
While it is set up and can be used very similar to traditional FTP programs, it is worth mentioning the differences and explaining how to use the program. Opening the Program: Go to the Start menu in the bottom left of the screen, and look through the Programs >> Utilities >> SSH Secure Shell sub-directories. You will see Secure Shell File Transfer; click this to open the program.
