Dynamic Blocks in AutoCAD Quick-Start Tutorial Part IIn AutoCAD® 2006 software, you can now create blocks that are intelligent and flexible. This exciting new feature, called Dynamic Blocks, enables you to modify blocks within specific constraints. A block library might have dozens of windows (if architectural) or bolts (if mechanical). With Dynamic Blocks, you can create one block that takes the place of all these related blocks and be confident that modifications match the dimensions of their real-world objects. As a result, the process of finding the right block is much more efficient. Inserting and editing the block is practically error-free.
Furthermore, you can individually modify components of blocks. For example, within a desk set, you could move the chair, change the type of telephone, change the desk size, and specify the size of the computer’s monitor. Thereby, you can work with one block that contains multiple editable components in place of several blocks. Facilities management was never so easy!
This first of three articles explains the basic concepts of Dynamic Blocks and ends with a quick-start tutorial. Part two provides detailed documentation of the feature. Part three introduces some of the advanced uses for Dynamic Blocks.
DownloadBattle Realms - Games Cheats Hints & Trainer PC GuideBattle Realms isn’t just a poor attempt on real time strategies. If you haven’t heard about this game, than the shame is on you. If the marketing would have been done right, than there wouldn’t be a Warcraft franchise to talk of, at least not in the terms it’s mentioned today. It had heroes long before its rival game and recruitment system remains unique until today. The game got lost somewhere along the way and will only be mentioned in articles like this one. Many brothers (Lotus clan only) Create the 3 brothers (if you have enough Yin or Yang) and send them in the 3 towers. Press [Ctrl] + D at the Crypt Of Brothers. Notice that the brothers are still alive. Build another Crypt Of Brothers until you have more brothers to attack a base. Easy Yin gain For Lotus, use either Brother Lythis or Tausil and attack a tree in some maps. This will result in a gain of 3 to 5 yins at a time. Build more brothers so you can have more. Blend is designed to create all of the WPF UI (User Interface) elements such as windows, buttons, grid, and brushes on a designer surface. Blend will then emit all the necessary XAML code. Blend is a designer tool, so you still use Visual Studio 2005 to write the application code. (Note: If you have the next version of Visual Studio, codenamed “Orcas,” installed, you don’t need to install the Visual Studio Extensions for WPF or the .NET Framework 3.)
Using the xamDataGrid in Blend
1. Launch Visual Studio 2005.
2. Start a New Project.
3. Select NET Framework 3.0 Windows Application (WPF) (VB or C#) as in Figure 1.
4. Add a reference to Infragistics WPF controls and supporting API as in Figure 2.
5. Build the Solution and Save all. As yet the Infragistics controls are not available in the toolbox to drag onto the design surface. We will achieve this by using Microsoft’s Expression Blend.
6. Start Blend and open the project just created. Note that Blend can read Visual Studio Solution files. Browse to where you saved the solution file and open it. You should see your solution displayed similar to Figure 3 in Blend. To access the Infragistics controls click on the button marked in red, the controls are in the Asset Library.

OVERVIEW Established 175 years ago, GLOBUS is a leading retailer in Germany with more than 20,000 employees and nearly 90 locations, including 10 in the Czech Republic. GLOBUS competes in a more than 35 markets, including food, electronics and home improvement, selling more than 100,000 products in each of its stores.
CHALLENGE GLOBUS had been using a proprietary UNIX* system to run its custom-developed ERP applications. Each store location had an expensive server to run its ERP applications, as well as file and print services. With slim profit margins in the food market, the company needed to significantly reduce its IT expenditures, without sacrificing performance or reliability. By moving from a proprietary system to Linux*, GLOBUS sought to reduce both its software and hardware costs. www.novell.com

It was written by Ethan Townsend as a documented means of migrating our ADO ASP application, SIB (Siteinabox), from Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 to an open source database. SIB is a large database driven application that includes many views, stored procedures, and complex SQL executed from the ASP pages.
The primary goals were to:
1) Modify the application so that it could seamlessly switch between the existing SQL Server database and the new open source database.
2) Have the ability to offload existing databases from SQL Server to the new database server.
3) Make no modifications to the existing, working SQL Server.
4) Maximize easeofuse, stability, performance, and security.
The following open source database servers were installed and analyzed to determine their feasibility in replacing SQL Server:
? MySQL 4.1: The stable version of MySQL at the time of testing.
? MySQL 5: The development version of MySQL.
? PostgreSQL 7.4:
? PostgreSQL 8.0.3:
? Firebird 1.5.3:
? MaxDB 7.5:
? MaxDB 7.6:
After reviewing the alternatives, we settled on PostgreSQL 8.0 for the following reasons:
? Good documentation,
? Best performance on Windows platform (using the included ODBC driver).
? Custom operators and functions allowed a compatibility layer to minimize code changes (only about 300 changes were necessary in 700,000 lines of code).
? Easy to install and use (a GUI was included and the installer was straightforward)

The advantages for merchants are clear lower overheads in both staff and shop space, provision of greater convenience for their customers, 24/7 and international availability of the store, and the ability to compete on a far more level playing field with larger companies. The spread of internet shopping sites is a testament to all of these.
However, the implementation of an online store has often been difficult, especially for the individual user. A catalogue needs to be presented allowing customers to select products to buy, these product choices must be tracked (usually in the form of the common shopping cart), and all-importantly, a secure way of processing the customer’s payment details is vital.
As is often the case, a demand for services rapidly begets solutions, and there are now numerous companies that offer these services for integration into a website. PayPal, Verisign, and Authorize.Net are well- known companies who provide secure credit card processing services. Many companies who provide shopping carts link with these (and other) credit card processors.
One of the better of the shopping carts is Mal’s e-commerce (http://www.mals-e.com) which provides two packages: a free service offering integration with PayPal, NoChex and Paymate, and a premium service offering integration with VeriSign, Authorize.Net and a wide variety of other credit card processors.
And now, using the power of Freeway’s Actions technology, you can take advantage of Mal’s shopping cart to quickly create your own online store.Honda VFR750F Owner’s Manual, Model 90-93 PDF Downloadmost of you know, most kinds of manuals have the tendency to dissolve into thin air. Most people who buy a motorcycle secondhand, don’t get the owner’s manual along with it. I did neither. Because Honda could not provide me a copy of this manual, I do not think that they will prevent anyone from copying it. I asked someone to provide me the manual and scanned it for everyone to copy and read. The original size of the manual is: 10.5 x 14.7 cm (5.8 x 4.1 Inch). Enjoy your motorcycle, riding and maintaining it.

You set up the translation environment in transactions SLWA and SLWB. Implementation Considerations Before you start maintaining the translation environment, you should: · provide or extend system resources - please see System Resource Setup [Page 10] · perform administrative measures and preparation - please see Administrative Measures [Page 11] The translation environment must be defined before the start of productive translation. Integration After you have completed the above preparation, you start maintaining the translation environment in transaction SLWA.
Transaction SLWA is used to maintain the control tables for translation and to set up the translation environment. Authorization for some of the functions used in SLWA depend on: · the profile S_ADMI_FCD with value TRNR, which is only assigned to administrators - this is assigned in the user master record · the authorizations assigned to users in the translator profile in transaction SLWA itself.
