  • Research and Implementation of E-commerce Platform Based on .NET Framework
  • Nowadays, transacting business through E-commerce platform has become an important business trading way in modern society. E-commerce has been applied to literally every aspect of our society. The requirements of users are variable, different methods are in need of realizing E-commerce, even the deployment platforms are different. The JSP, ASP, HTML and other traditional scripting language has become unable to meet the needs of designing a complex system, even if it has been realized, the coupling between codes, the configuration environment and system deployment dependency fall far short of various requirements of users. It is a highly skilled work which demands good conception of beauty and much professional knowledge of the program designers. However, it is difficult to fulfill the needs in reality. The .NET Framework is Microsoft's comprehensive and consistent programming model for building applications that have visually stunning user experiences, seamless and secure communication, and the ability to model a range of business processes. It includes a large library of coded solutions to prevent common programming problems and a virtual machine that manages the execution of programs written specifically for the framework. The .NET Framework is a key Microsoft offering and is intended to be used by most new applications created for the Windows platform. The coded solutions that form the framework's Base Class Library cover a large range of programming needs in a number of areas, including user interface, data access, database connectivity, cryptography, web application development, numeric algorithms, and network communications. The class library is used by
  • Introduction to C# 2.0
  • C# 2.0 introduces several language extensions, the most important of which are generics, anonymous methods, iterators, and partial types. • Generics permit classes, structs, interfaces, delegates, and methods to be parameterized by the types of data they store and manipulate. Generics are useful because they provide stronger compile-time type checking, require fewer explicit conversions between data types, and reduce the need for boxing operations and runtime type checks. • Anonymous methods allow code blocks to be written “in-line” where delegate values are expected. Anonymous methods are similar to lambda functions in the Lisp pro- gramming language. C# 2.0 supports the creation of “closures” where anonymous methods access surrounding local variables and parameters. • Iterators are methods that incrementally compute and yield a sequence of values. Itera- tors make it easy for a type to specify how the foreach statement will iterate over its elements. • Partial types allow classes, structs, and interfaces to be broken into multiple pieces stored in different source files for easier development and maintenance. Additionally, partial types allow separation of machine-generated and user-written parts of types so that it is easier to augment code generated by a tool. This chapter introduces these new features. Following the introduction are four chapters that provide a complete technical specification of the features. The language extensions in C# 2.0 were designed to ensure maximum compatibility with existing code. For example, even though C# 2.0 gives special meaning to the words where, yield, and partial in certain contexts, these words can still be used as identifiers. Indeed,

  • Multi-Vision User Manual
  • The MULTI-VISION is an opto-electronic night-vision device of the newest generation. MULTI-VISION enables you to see in poor visibility and in the dark. It allows you to move around safely. MULTI-VISION has a built-in electronic zoom. This provides a magnification of the image of the observed object, bringing it virtually closer. The effect is similar as with binoculars. MULTI-VISION can also be connected to external devices, such as video/television sets, DVD players and computers, so that you can view the images inside the goggles. MULTI-VISION consists of the goggles and a power unit with power supply; a cable connects both parts. The set also includes a main adapter with charger. MULTI-VISION comes in a handy transport case and with a belt pouch. The plastic casing contains the following elements: (1) Plug connection for cable (2) Push button for power (illuminated) (3) Removable Ni-MH rechargeable battery (4) Connector for power supply (under the battery) (5) Knob with triple function: for manual adjustment of contrast, for electronic zoom or phase, depending upon the mode (see further). (6) Knob for manual adjustment of brightness. Download pdf Multi-Vision User Manual
  • Deploying CFMLon ASP.NET and the Microsoft .NET Framework Using BlueDragon
  • BlueDragon 7.0.1 for the Microsoft .NET Framework (commonly referred to as BlueDragon.NET) allows CFML applications to be deployed on Windows servers running the Microsoft .NET Framework, the Microsoft IIS web server, and ASP.NET. The Microsoft .NET Framework is built-in to Windows 2008 Server, Windows Vista, and Windows 2003 Server; and, can be installed onto Windows 2000 and Windows XP. While most web applications on .NET are built with ASP.NET and other components of the .NET framework, BlueDragon makes it possible for the .NET Framework to also process CFML applications. Indeed, BlueDragon.NET is the only way to run CFML on the .NET Framework. BlueDragon.NET is about empowering CFML to integrate with your organization’s .NET development and take full advantage of the enterprise features of this strategic platform This document describes how to install BlueDragon.NET and run CFML applications via the Microsoft IIS web server and the .NET framework, without requiring the installation of proprietary Adobe ColdFusion server software. See section 6 for details on the technical underpinnings of how BlueDragon.NET is implemented. This document also offers a brief overview of the .NET Framework. More importantly, it explains the many benefits of .NET deployment for CFML developers. It discusses the many forms of integration that are possible between CFML pages and native .NET components, including ASP.NET pages. Section 3 discusses these many benefits, and the details and code examples of integrating CFML and ASP.NET are detailed in a separate document, Integrating CFML with ASP.NET and the Microsoft .NET Framework. • History of generics in programming languages The theory of generic types (parametric polymorphism) is by Hindley (1968) and Milner (1977). First programming language with parametric polymorphism is ML (1979); then Miranda, Haskell, Clean, ... First object-oriented language with generics is Eiffel (1991). Generics in Java • PolyJ (Myers, Bank, Liskov; 1997): Type parameters can be instantiated by reference types and primitive types; requires an extended JVM. • Generic Java (Bracha, Odersky, Stoutamire, Wadler 1998): Became Java 5.0 generics (plus wildcards, due to researchers at Aarhus University); runs on standard JVM. • NextGen (Cartwright, Steele; 1998): Type parameters can be instantiated by reference types, not primitive types; runs on standard JVM Generics in C# • Generic C# and new Generic Common Language Runtime (Kennedy and Syme, Microsoft Research Cambridge UK, 2001). • In November 2002, Microsoft announced generics for next version of C#; Redmond had been convinced ... • In August 2003, first alpha version of .Net Common Language Infrastructure with generics released. • Stronghold and Stronghold Crusader - Games Cheats Hints & Trainer PC pdf
  • The medieval city managerial strategy game Stronghold has gathered tons of fans from day one. Firefly Studios really pulled an ace off their sleeves as they combined the city management strategies everybody loved in the SimCity series with the strategic army battles at the edge of the settlement. It was amazing to be able to keep an eye for the well being of hundreds of townsfolk while also being able to keep a strict eye on what the soldiers are doing. Building up the strongest keep in the region was a wondrous task and the varied possibilities to accomplish that were more than satisfactory. Unlike the Caesar series that it also resembles, you are now able not only to satisfy all your people’s demands for luxury, housing and jobs. People also respond to threat and placing some monuments of cruelty like the gallows in strategic locations of your city may have the same result as providing the people with 4 meals a day. After the success of Stronghold, it was only a matter of time before this new born series got extended. The first expansion (a standalone) was Stronghold Crusader and it was greeted just as warmly.
