  • IFAXVIEW (TIFF Viewer) Users Manual
  • IFAXVIEW is a TIFF Viewer that allows you to view Internet FAX received on the PC as a Tagged Image File Format (”TIFF”) attachment to an email. The Internet FAX is a facsimile equipment connected to an Ethernet LAN (Local Area Network) that allows you to send documents over the Internet to a remote Internet FAX or a PC terminal. It also allows you to receive and print an email transmitted by a remote PC. The Internet FAX uses the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (”SMTP”) for communication, which is the same internet protocol used for Electronic Mail (”email”). The document is first scanned by the Internet FAX and converted into a TIFF-F formatted image file, and then transmitted to the remote location as an attachment file to an email using Multi-purpose Internet Mail Extensions (”MIME”) encoding. The email system at the receiving end must support MIME. Otherwise, the attachment file will be detached and lost. When you send an email message to someone, the Internet FAX uses SMTP to transfer your outgoing mail to your SMTP mail server, which in turn uses SMTP to send your mail to the Internet. The IFAXVIEW software displays the image data on the PC by expanding the received TIFF formatted document data file. 2. What IFAXVIEW does IFAXVIEW has the following features. ? Application software running on Windows 95/98/NT and Windows 3.1. ? Retrieves and Displays the image data that was received from an Internet FAX. It is also capable of displaying on the PC

  • Chrysler Sebring Coupe 2004 Owner’s Manual
  • The vehicle may not be able to receive the registered ID code from the key. This means the engine will not start even when the registered key is turned to the START position: • When the key comes into contact with a metallic or magnetic object. • When the key comes into contact with another immobilizing key, or with some other transponder. In case like these, the theft-alarm indicator (located in the instrument cluster) will blink after 10 seconds. The theft-alarm indicator will flash for approximately 30 seconds and then go off. Remove the above object from the key and turn the key back to the ACC or LOCK position. Then try again to start the engine. If the engine does not start, consult an authorized dealer. 2. Since there is a transponder built into the key, be careful not to cause shock to the key, such as by dropping it or by putting heavy objects on top of it. 3. Do not leave the key where it may be exposed to heat caused by the high temperature and high humidity. 4. Sentry key is not compatible with remote starting systems. Use of these systems may result in vehicle starting problems and a loss of security protection. 5. A system failure is suspected when the ignition key is turned to the START position, the engine does not start. In such a case, consult an authorized dealer. • Slabsmith™ Tutorial
  • Slabsmith is a collection of tools for the stone counter-top industry. These tools include digital slab creationand management as well as template nesting on slabs, ( both natural and man-made.) This tutorial is an excellent way to learn to use the most common tools provided by Slabsmith. A few minutes spent going through this tutorial will save you time every time you work with Slabsmith. Setting up the photostation and taking a calibration photo The first two steps are covered in detail in the in a separate manual,“Photostation Setup and Calibration “. You can find the Photostation Setup and Calibration manual in the Help | Manuals menu of Slabsmith’s home tab, and also in the help menu of the calibration module. • KM2.0: Business Knowledge Sharing in the Web 2.0 Age
  • This paper is intended to discuss the impact of Web 2.0 on knowledge management (KM) and the future orientation of KM. These days, the term KM is used rather less than hitherto. However, as Web 2.0 has made its debut and user participation-type culture has expanded, the new concept of “collective intelligence” has been attracting attention. Opinions are currently being advanced with regard to the concept and process of KM and the system architecture that can be used to implement it. This paper also deals with the issue of knowledge provision, a traditional issue of KM, and introduces a KM model in the context of the Web 2.0 age that can expand collective intelligence in a positive spiral by closely linking it to knowledge extraction from various communication tools and job systems. In his paper “What is Web 2.0” 1), which was announced in September 2005 and is currently attracting wide attention, Tim O’Reilly proposed the concept of Web 2.0. This concept is also exerting an important impact on the field of knowledge management (KM). The concept of KM became popular in early 1990’s, and many experts in business management made a large number of proposals in the domain of corporate education and knowledge creation and many managers and employees who were in sympathy with the concept conducted attempts in the field. Subsequently, the term KM became rather less popular as the 21st century began but the expansion of a user- participation type culture stimulated by Web 2.0 has brought the
  • Using SSH Manual PDF
  • Remotely logging on to machines is a very common task The most common programs to login were telnet, rsh and rlogin Networks, and LANs in particular, are insecure If a group of computers are connected in a lab, any computer in the lab can see all the data sent across the network Authentication is the process of proving an identity To access a computer, you provide an account name and something that proves you are allowed to access it Passwords are the normal method for authentication Passwords must be protected and this is difficult across a network telnet and friends send login names and passwords in plain text A malicious program can snoop data and passwords Security is as much a human problem as it is a technology problem Users often: use easy to guess passwords save passwords in a file on the hrd drive use the same password for accounts, email, websites These behaviours lead to insecurity Download Using SSH Manual PDF
  • Review Guide - Gmail Chat Overview
  • Gmail Chat creates a seamless communications experience, enabling users to email and send instant messages from directly within the same browser. There’s nothing to download and no separate application to use—it just works in Gmail. Users can see when their contacts are online, and chat instantly with them. Communications today can be frustrating. Users typically have to use separate email and instant messaging applications to talk to the same people, not to mention having to keep track of what information was sent where. Gmail Chat addresses some of these issues by breaking down the arbitrary barrier that’s been created between email and IM. Chats need not be different from email messages. Important information is communicated and stored in both. Gmail has always been committed to making communications more efficient and helping users find and access information. Now we’ve extended this model to instant communications. Download Review Guide - Gmail Chat
  • Maya 103: Animation
  • During this tutorial you will be creating a low resolution ‘stand-in’ model of the reovirus sigma 1 protein (the tentacle-like trimeric protein that extends out of the virus’ turrets). The 3 monomers are thought to be in a flexible conformation during the early phases of the viral life cycle – once the surface of the virus loses its sigma3 coating (upon cleavage by chymotrypsin in the gut lumen), the sigma1 trimer transitions to a coiled-coil conformation and rigidifies. Therefore, we would like to animate each monomer as a flexible/trembling arm initially, and then have it erect and coil as a triple helix (with the other 2 rigid monomers). Technically, in Maya, we can achieve this by creating a skeleton or joint-chain within the structure, and then bind (or ‘skin’) that skeleton to the geometry. We will then apply inverse kinematics to this skeleton in order to simplify its animation – we will ‘key’ the position of the inverse kinematic handle (IK handle) over time and then explore how to loop that motion cyclically in the graph editor. To achieve a ‘trembling’ motion on the sigma1 tentacles, there are several options to explore: 1) we will apply a simple expression to the x, y, z translate values of the IK handle, and 2) we will use values sampled from a fractal texture (yes, a texture!) to drive the movements of the IK handle. Finally, when the flailing monomers are ready to rigidify and twist around one another, we will apply a twist
