Open the arm rest and you will notice 4 allen key bolts and the catch bolt on the under side off the arm rest Undo the catch bolt usin either a pair of plyers or relevant size spanner, use allen keys to remove the remainin 4 allen key bolts. Then remove the plastic body away from the arm rest. Note: The bottom two allen key bolts are the bolts that hold the arm rest to the console via a hinge, dont worry as this will stay where it is, once undone it should just pull up, when re-attaching you`ll need to push down and aline the holes up so the allen bolts screw in.

Your first step is to buy a pair of Fiat Marea Poly Elliptical Headlights which can be found on all Fiat Marea ELX and HLX’s of any age. Your second step is to make sure that you are also given the sidelight connector with part of the wiring loom; it isn’t entirely necessary to obtain this but it does make it a lot easier to install and look factory fit. Make sure you have enough of the wiring loom as possible as you will be wiring them into the Bravo’s wiring loom. (Approx 30cm).

You can extend the wire using good quality speaker wire, so don’t worry if it’s too short. The rest of the headlight connectors on the Bravo will fit directly into the new Marea Headlights. (These are the Indicator connector, Dipped/Main Light Connector).

Pre-Removal
If you have bought used headlights, theoretically they will already be aligned for you. Therefore if you want to save yourself time and money by not having your lights realigned then mark off the position of the brackets and bolts in there current position before removal. If possible mark the headlight pattern on a garage door or wall.

I would still recommend you get them aligned properly just to be on the safe side as well as make sure you don’t loose valuable light. Approx £12

Getting Started
a) Make sure vehicle is parked on a level surface.
b) Set parking brake.
c) Jack the front of the vehicle and support with properly rated jack stands.
d) Lift the plastic battery cover and disconnect both battery terminals. Remove the short positive lead from the positive battery terminal. (Fig. 1)

Most 17” wheels will clear the outer diameter of the caliper. Wheel weights mounted on the inside of the wheel may need to be repositioned. The more critical clearance is the spokes of the wheel to the outer face of the caliper. Do not assume an 18, 19 or even 20 inch wheel will clear the outer face of the caliper. A minimum distance of 60.81mm, measured from the outer rotor face to the inside face of the wheel spokes. This is the net metal-to-metal measurement. We recommend at least 2mm additional clearance to clear the ST-40 caliper on our big brake kits. Please refer to the Wheel Fitment section of our website to confirm any wheel fitment issues.
