  • SAP Help Guide: Time Zones Tutorial
  • Use Processes which cover more than one time zone primarily affect logistic functions such as availability checks, production planning, delivery scheduling, statistics and service provision, but they also affect financial accounting in areas such as treasury, inter-company transactions, and so on. This function enables you to use dates and times that are comparable and exchangeable in applications that are implemented worldwide. For time-related applications, the SAP system can use local dates and times for proposed dates and validations (for example, to ensure that a requested delivery date is not in the past). Time Zone Management in Global Systems Global Application Generally, users think and act in terms of their local time, and they also expect to use their local time in business transactions. When the SAP System is used for global transactions that span time zones, business partners and systems will have different local times. These differences in local times can lead to problems such as late postings and missed batch runs. Download SAP Help Guide: Time Zones Tutorial

This hack explores the ABC model of emotion pioneered by 226 | Chapter 7, Clarity #57 Learn Your Emotional ABCs HACK H A C K #57 Learn Your Emotional ABCs Hack #57 Mental and emotional clarity reinforce each other, so don't ignore your emotio in your quest to be a better thinker. Greater clarity is just a few steps away. The ABC model of emotion, widespread in contemporary psychotherapy, holds that it is not an activating (A) event, such as rejection by a friend or lover, that causes you emotional coequences (C) such as depression; rather, the linchpin is your invisible beliefs (B) about the event that come in between A and C. Fortunately, it's often easier to intentionally change beliefs than emotio. Since at least the time of the ancient Stoics, some have believed that our cir- cumstances don't control whether we're happy, but our thoughts about them do. Our reasoned thoughts and beliefs form a kind of buffer between reality and our private selves—in theory. In practice, our thoughts often don't buffer us from events we don't like so

  • The Introduction of the OSCAR Database API (ODA)
  • ODA is an OSCAR Database API to make it easy for users to use the OSCAR database. When using ODA, there is no need to know how to connect the database or determine what its schema look like. ODA deployed on the OSCAR Subversion trunk uses Perl modules to connect, update, and query the database. Also, all the database subroutines for the end users are defined in a single Perl module, which is a collection of database subroutines and does the intermediate work between back-end database and OSCAR installation. As the previous paper showed, the old ODA has three problems. First, it can not fully support new features of OSCAR. Second, its implementation is overly complicated and takes a long time to learn and modify. Finally, its schema was also not well organized: 11 tables among 30 OSCAR tables are not used at all after OSCAR installation creates all the tables and numerous redundant shortcuts make developers confused in deciding what shortcuts should be used. OSCAR, therefore, needed more flexibility and a better organized database schema. The new version of ODA was developed not only to resolve the above chronic problems but also to establish a bridgehead for supporting OSCAR. It allows the OSCAR installer to add new features of the OSCAR sub-projects without modifying the whole OSCAR framework. The new version of ODA also makes it easy to participate in improving the database modules. The OSCAR sub-projects include HA-OSCAR [10] (High Availability, for mission-critical clusters), SSS-OSCAR [13] (Scalable System Software,

  • Convergence – Mobile Web 2.0
  • The evolution of Web 2.0 has deep roots in our human psyche. Web 2.0 is about connecting two or more users with each other, creating communities, connecting assets to owners and growing virally. Enterprise Web 2.0 involves another level of engagement by connecting assets to people, and enterprises to enterprises. Tangible “connected value” comes in various shades, leaving the phylogeny difficult to define. Fundamentally, the Internet is far ahead of the mobile industry in developing 2.0 applications. A concept that has captured Web 2.0 is annotated broadcast television. This includes a term called “vommenting” (spelling is correct). Enterprise Web 2.0 applications, and its coordination of documents, workflow and communications, gives rise to a term called “Webification.” The goal is that the IT organization becomes a catalyst for organizational change through the use of the flexibility of business-driven technology. Some of the examples outlined in this report are 5 to 10 years away; however, the principles which provide guidance are in development, now, on a global scale. This report comments on a modicum of the evolving Web 2.0, and Mobile Web 2.0, environments. It is up to the user, and the enterprise, to experiment and implement. The Internet is evolving from desire, to human interaction. In the field of telecommunications, this is a multi-layered integrated world. It came from a simple tethered telephony solution - the land line telephone. Therefore, there is a revolution developing at the edge of the network which will impact our society in many fundamental ways. Individuals are increasingly connected through
  • Fiat Bravo Arm Rest Guide
  • Open the arm rest and you will notice 4 allen key bolts and the catch bolt on the under side off the arm rest Undo the catch bolt usin either a pair of plyers or relevant size spanner, use allen keys to remove the remainin 4 allen key bolts. Then remove the plastic body away from the arm rest. Note: The bottom two allen key bolts are the bolts that hold the arm rest to the console via a hinge, dont worry as this will stay where it is, once undone it should just pull up, when re-attaching you`ll need to push down and aline the holes up so the allen bolts screw in. In the pics below, the arm rest is covered in foam thats used for wooden flooring, its held down with maskin tape and makes the arm rest more comfortable, you don`t have to use foam material, but it helps. You will notice in the second picture below that there is some blue material underneath the foam, that is the original material that is used on the arm rest, its best to cover over that as most people who have done theirs have done the same. For this next bit I used Leatherette bought from Dunelm Mill, £2.99 per half metre You need a piece of material, either cloth or any other material, ie t-shirt. Put the arm rest on the material and cut a shape out but leave loads of material around the arm rest so that you
