  • Objecteering C# Developer
  • Decision-makers in every industry are constantly looking for more and more cost reduction and time-to-market acceleration, and the software and system development industry is no exception to this rule. By taking advantage of the extensive use of both UML and MDA TM (Model-Driven Architecture), technologies standardized by the OMG (Object Management Group), the Objecteering/UML integrated model-driven development environment allows you to make dramatic gains in productivity, quality and application reuse. Manage your C# development using the Model-Driven Development approach Starting from a UML model, the Model-Driven Development approach is used to automate, assist and control application development, by applying the best methodological and technological practices adapted to your business and technical context. This approach, which is natively implemented in Objecteering/UML, provides you with a dedicated integrated tool suite that dramatically increases the productivity and quality of your software application development. Using Objecteering/UML the programming phase is reduced to its essential components: the completion of the UML model with the algorithmic parts of the code and the specification of implementation choices (model annotations). With the UML model, Objecteering/C# Developer can represent every possible C# context, and provides you with a model-editing GUI dedicated to C#. Modeling work is entirely re-used for automated code production and developers no longer have to reformulate it in C#. Code complements are stored in the repository and Objecteering/UML ensures permanent consistency between UML models and C# code. With this approach, you are guaranteed the best quality in the permanent updating of models, code and related documentation. Download pdf Objecteering C#
  • Introduction to LightWave 3D 8.3s NEW Bone Tools and Ikbooster PDF
  • You have already rigged character and eyeballs with Modeler’s skelegons. But as you know using skelegons can be kind of cumbersome having to setup in modeler and convert in Layout then edit changes in Modeler if a bone was misplaced. LightWave 3D [8] introduced some full-fledged features to create and edit bones right in Layout, giving you full flexibility when it comes to rigging. Also introduced in LightWave [8] is IK (Inverse Kinematics) Booster which applies IK Handles on all created bones automatically. You can also apply dynamics to bones using this tool. N.B. Inverse Kinematics The process of determining the motion of joints in a hierarchical 3D object given the desired start and end points, all the while obeying the laws of kinematics. Think of it like the strings on a marionette puppet or where the handles or the child bones themselves control the parent bones. Forward Kinematics Figure positioning by joint angle specification. Like posing a toy action figure or where the parent bone controls the child bone. LightWave Layout has two main bone tool categories • Bone tools found in the Setup Tab • IK booster Download Introduction to LightWave 3D 8.3s NEW Bone Tools and Ikbooster PDF
  • FioranoMQ Native CSharp RTL Sample Applications Guide
  • FioranoMQ has support for handling expired messages on the FioranoMQ server for the PTP sub system of JMS. The Dead Message Queue (DMQ) is created on the server to handle expired messages, which were earlier deleted from the FioranoMQ server. These programs illustrate the basic functionality of FioranoDMQ using the FioranoMQ Native CSharp Runtime Library. This directory contains the following three programs. • Sender.cs - It implements a client application sending some data on "primaryQueue". Few messages sent have infinite time to live, while remaining have very small TTL. • Receiver.cs - It receives messages synchronously from "primaryQueue". • ReceiverDMQ.cs - It receives messages synchronously from dead message queue. To run these samples using FioranoMQ, do the following: 1. Before running these samples, make sure that you have set the properties named Fiorano->mq->ptp->Queues->PrimaryQueue->enableDMQ, fiorano->mq->ptp- >queues->primaryQueue->isDbCleanupEnabled & fiorano->mq->ptp- >queuingSubSystem->EnableNotificationOnDeadMessage to true. 2. Compile each of the source files. The %FMQ_DIR%nativecsharpscripts directory contains a script called csclientbuild.bat which compiles the Native CSharp program. 3. Run the ReceiverDMQ by executing ReceiverDMQ.exe executable file. 4. Run the Sender by executing the Sender.exe executable file. 5. Run the receiver by executing the Receiver.exe file. Receiver will receive messages that had infinite time to live and remaining messages will be received by ReceiverDMQ. Download pdf FioranoMQ Native CSharp RTL Sample Applications Guide
  • JBoss Eclipse IDE Tutorial
  • An introduction and walkthrough of JBoss Eclipse IDE 2.1. Introduction The goal of this tutorial is to demonstrate how simple it is to develop J2EE applications with JBoss Eclipse IDE. The sample application that will be built is a J2EE application with one session EJB and one Servlet, which computes the Fibonacci suite. The tutorial is split into several parts: • The Project: this part shows how the project is prepared (source and build path) • The EJB: this part shows how to write an EJB class with its XDoclet javadoc tags. • Generation of EJB files: this part shows how to configure the XDoclet generation configuration to generate all the EJB related files • The Servlet and the Web-App: this part shows how to write a Servlet class with its XDoclet javadoc tags. • Generation of Servlet files: this part shows how to configure the XDoclet generation configuration to generate all the Web related files... • Parallelism/Concurrency Specification Within UML
  • The concurrency is an important issue to tackle when modelling real-time applications which are intrinsically concurrent. According to the definitions of real-time given in (CNRS 1988) and (Stankovic 88), real-time implies on one hand that the response are waited at a precise moment (neither before nor after) and on other hand, that such systems are coupled with the real world, therefore highly concurrent. This document overviews the support for concurrency modelling provided by UML. It describes first the main concept of active object and second a (non exhaustive) list of issues pertaining to concurrency mechanism interactions. The integration of concurrency issues within object-oriented environments generated a large amount of research. In the case of object-oriented languages, most concurrency issues are related to the concept of active object (Atkinson 91), (Guerraoui 95) et (Tripathi, Oosten et al. 99). Concrete examples of concurrent object oriented languages are Act++ , Hybrid (Nierstratz 1987), ABCL (Yonezawa, Shibayama et al. 87), Argus (Liskov 1988), PRAL RT (Fouquier and Terrier 95), RTGOL (Sourrouille and Lecoeuche 95), TOM , etc. Download Parallelism/Concurrency Specification Within UML

But back then, AMD had only the K8 20 April 2007 AMD Logo www.amd.com By: Dan Frincu, Hardware Editor AMDs Agena Processor is a Serious Overclocker The era of overclocking has begun When Intel came forth with the Core microarchitecture, everybody was simply delighted at the fact that a processor could overclock to as much as 100% of its stock frequency by using air cooling alone. But back then, AMD had only the K8 architecture to show off and people were already aware of what its capabilities were. So Intel got almost 90% of the x86 processo market, while AMD was left with a trail of breadcrumbs to help them get back on their way. But then the dreaded K10 microarchitecture came, bound to take the bull by the hor and shake things up a little bit. As far as speculatio go, there were a lot of them made on this subject, but it seems that the guys from Fudzilla.com got their hands on an Agena processor and took it for a severe regime Download PDF
  • Web 2.0 in 2008
  • Applications manufacturers today offer tools that allow companies to reap all of the potential benefits of Web 2.0. Behind most of these initiatives lies a simple yet very promising idea for the corporate world. Without installing “in house” software (that is under the cloud computing format), companies can capitalize on these free on-line services for a series of activities requiring coordination or collaboration. These include organizing meetings, sharing contacts and documents, and creating communities. Furthermore, integration with social networks allows companies to get to know their clients and their preferences better in order to choose the ideal candidates. In this sense, it seems logical to assume that Web 2.0 will undergo a strong new surge due to its commitment to mobility, and specific applications are already coming out on the market. In general, Spanish companies have been slow to jump onto the bandwagon. There are a few exceptions, though. One of the most noteworthy of these is Actibva, the Web 2.0 platform launched by BBVA that is designed to inform users about the evolution of financial markets and foment relationships among parties interested in savings and economic topics from the viewpoint of markets as well as the personal finances. BBVA’s team of specialized journalists selects news according to completely independent criteria and offers its own views in the Actibva blog. As such, users can vote on news items and introduce their own commentaries. Beyond this example, there are a few interesting Web 2.0 initiatives gathering force among younger Spanish companies.
