  • Teach Yourself JAVA in 21 Days
  • Java is an object-oriented programming language developed by Sun Microsystems, a company best known for its high-end Unix workstations. Modeled after C++, the Java language was designed to be small, simple, and portable across platforms and operating systems, both at the source and at the binary level (more about this later). Java is often mentioned in the same breath as HotJava, a World Wide Web browser from Sun like Netscape or Mosaic (see Figure 1.1). What makes HotJava different from most other browsers is that, in addition to all its basic Web features, it can also download and play applets on the reader’s system. Applets appear in a Web page much in the same way as images do, but unlike images, applets are dynamic and interactive. Applets can be used to create animations, figures, or areas that can respond to input from the reader, games, or other interactive effects on the same Web pages among the text and graphics. Although HotJava was the first World Wide Web browser to be able to play Java applets, Java support is rapidly becoming available in other browsers. Netscape 2.0 provides support for Java applets, and other browser developers have also announced support for Java in forthcoming products. • Fiat Marea Removing The Seat Head Rest
  • OK, first the banging and force pulling method is OUT !!!! All of the Bravo/a seat head rests can be removed whit ease. You only need these pliers (don’t know the right name ;) ) The next step is to pull up the head rest and grip the pins whit these pliers. WARNING : Put some thick cloth under them plieers, or the plastic will get “eaten“ ! Then when you have a good grip, turn the pliers in CLOCKWISE direction for 90°. You will feel something give away and it will turn more easy, that is the lock giving away. After you have done that, just pull the head rest out of the seat. And that’s it, all done ! • ZoneBench User Guide
  • The instructions and explanations in this guide assume that you understand how to operate your Macintosh computer. You should, for example, know how to choose, select, launch, and drag by using your mouse. In addition, you should also understand how the desktop, windows, dialog boxes, buttons and file/folders work within the Macintosh environment. For more information about these items, please refer to your Macintosh User?s Guide. SpeedTools ZoneBench is a benchmarking application designed to measure the read and write speeds over an entire local storage device. That device can be either logical (such as a disk volume which is actually a RAID array made up of two or more disk drives) or physical (such as your internal ATA disk drive). ZoneBench also has the capability to measure the speed of read-only volumes such as a mounted CD or DVD data disc. ZoneBench does not measure the speed of burning recordable CD/DVD discs, however. Measuring speeds across an entire device is important because most storage devices do not maintain consistent speeds across their entire storage area. For example, all modern hard disk drives get slower as data is accessed further and further toward the physical end of the drive. Conversely, CD and DVD ROM discs get faster as you access toward the physical end of disc. (This is because CD's and DVD's are read starting at the center of the disc moving progressively outwards. Warning: ZoneBench is designed to be non-destructive. However, because ZoneBench reads and writes directly to your storage device, there is

  • HP Email Archiving software for Microsoft Exchange 2.0 Quick Specs
  • HP Email Archiving software for Microsoft Exchange is client software that integrates with HP Integrated Archive Platform (IAP) to help you mitigate the business risk associated with legal discovery, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance requirements, reduce the cost of email storage, and boost messaging server performance and availability. HP Email Archiving software for Microsoft Exchange integrates with Microsoft Outlook and OWA to provide a seamless, nearly transparent user interface where archived messages can still be accessed through users' standard Outlook interface. Available Selective Archiving module provides policies to mine messages from users' mailboxes. Policies can be based on quota thresholds, or any combination of message content, age, size, sender/recipient and keyword, all of which can be applied to individual users, groups or the total enterprise. Use of the Selective Archiving version can significantly reduce the storage burden on the primary Exchange servers by removing a large percentage of email data to the HP Integrated Archive Platform. This process can significantly boost the performance of the Exchange application while optimizing storage and controlling IT costs. Another benefit when using the Selective Archiving version is the ability to create user mailboxes with unlimited quotas which can eliminate the spread of PSTs and reduce the lost productivity that is a side effect of users managing their maxed out mailboxes. Users can now take control of their mailboxes and even search lost or deleted emails from the simple, easy-to-use Outlook Integrated Archive Search for an extensive range of search and retrieve capabilities. • AJAX and PHP Building Responsive Web Applications
  • Online chat solutions have been very popular long before AJAX was born. There are numerous reasons for this popularity, and you're probably familiar with them if you've ever used an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) client, or an Instant Messenger (IM) program, or a Java chat applet. AJAX has pushed online chat solutions forward by making it easy to implement features that are causing trouble or are harder to implement with other technologies. First of all, an AJAX chat application inherits all the typical AJAX benefits, such as integration with existing browser features, and (if written well) cross-platform compatibility. An additional advantage is that an AJAX chat application avoids the connectivity problems that are common with other technologies, because many firewalls block the communication ports they use. On the other hand, AJAX uses exclusively HTTP for communicating with the server. Probably the most impressive AJAX chat application available today is Meebo (http://www.meebo.com). We are pretty sure that some of you have heard about it, and if you haven't, we recommend you have a look at it. The first and the most important feature in Meebo is that it allows you to log in into your favorite IM system by using only a web interface. At the time of writing, Meebo lets you connect to AIM or ICQ, Yahoo! Messenger, Jabber, or GTalk, and MSN. You can access all these services from a single web page with a user friendly interface, with no pop-up windows or Java applets. Meebo isn't the only web application that
