  • VideoEase S-Video Balun Application Guide pdf
  • The purpose of this document is to explain how to apply the S-Video Balun under different operating conditions and to discuss issues not covered in the Product Installation Guide. There are three models; S-Video Balun (500016), S-Video/Audio Balun (500017) and S-Video Hi-Fi Balun (500039). The 500016 supports S-Video only and the 500017/500039) support S-Video and two audio channels. Both products are compatible with MuxLab s Audio-Video Distribution Hub (Part#500200). Function of the S-Video Balun The function of the S-Video Balun is to allow traditional S-Video coaxial cable to be replaced by Category 5 (or better) twisted pair cable for more cost-effective cabling. Used in pairs, the S-Video Balun allows S-Video display equipment to be located up to 1000 feet (305m) from the S-Video source, thus exceeding standard S-Video cable distance limitations which is approximately 300 feet (90m). Due to the lower cost and ease of installation of Category 5 cable, significant material and installation savings may be achieved. Furthermore, due to the excellent crosstalk immunity, multiple S-Video signals may be transmitted adjacent to one another under a multipair (4, 25, 50, 100, etc) Cat 5 cable, thereby optimizing the cable and further reducing the material cost per foot of cabling. The S-Video Balun may be applied in the following areas: Multi-media Projector Systems: Allows a multi-media projector to be placed at extended distances from a laptop or PC in a conference room or training room environment. Allows the presenter to stand at a distance from the projector so as not to
  • 1992-95 VW Corrado VR6 Front Big Brake Upgrade Installation Instructions
  • Most 17” wheels will clear the outer diameter of the caliper. Wheel weights mounted on the inside of the wheel may need to be repositioned. The more critical clearance is the spokes of the wheel to the outer face of the caliper. Do not assume an 18, 19 or even 20 inch wheel will clear the outer face of the caliper. A minimum distance of 60.81mm, measured from the outer rotor face to the inside face of the wheel spokes. This is the net metal-to-metal measurement. We recommend at least 2mm additional clearance to clear the ST-40 caliper on our big brake kits. Please refer to the Wheel Fitment section of our website to confirm any wheel fitment issues. Final fitment of the wheel to the caliper is the responsibility of the customer. Wheel Spacers Wheel spacers can provide extra clearance to the outer face of the caliper. This will also space out the entire wheel, widening the track width of the vehicle. Basic suspension settings will generally not be adversely affected by a slight widening (up to 3mm per side) of the track. Fender clearances should be checked on lowered cars, and longer lug studs or wheel bolts may be required. It is the responsibility of the customer to insure wheel spacers are properly specified and installed. Brake Vibration The most common causes of brake vibration are run-out and thickness variations on the rotor. Double disc grinding insures the rotor run-out is within +/- 0.002” when installed on our aluminum hat. Thickness variation is

  • Linking Oracle Tables to Microsoft Access
  • The Forest Service has the capability to access data residing in Oracle and other databases with Office 2000. Microsoft Access is part of the Office 2000 suite and has a strong ability to “link” to tables in other databases including Oracle. The purpose of this paper is to explain how to configure a PC for the linkage and illustrate how to make the connection. The primary benefit of using Access to manipulate data is its rich interface to quickly design queries, reports, and forms for data entry. The connection is done through the use of a standard called Open Database Connectivity (ODBC). This is a specification for accessing relational database’s that has been in existence for many years. Two additional software packages must be installed on the PC in addition to Office 2000. The software required includes SQL*Net (an Oracle product) and an ODBC driver (supplied by many software vendors). These additional software packages are already installed on Round 12 corporate PC’s as part of the software image. To get the software for earlier round PC’s, you must have your System Administrator schedule your PC for a software distribution from Missoula OSE (contact your System Admin). ODBC drivers for Oracle are included with the Office 2000 installation as well as from the Oracle package distributed by Missoula OSE. Download pdf Linking Oracle Tables to Microsoft Access
