A Genetic Programming TutorialThe goal of getting computers to automatically solve problems is central to artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the broad area encompassed by what Turing called “machine intelligence” (Turing 1948, 1950). In his 1983 talk entitled “AI: Where It Has Been and Where It Is Going, machine learning pioneer Arthur Samuel stated the main goal of the fields of machine learning and artificial intelligence:
“[T]he aim [is] … to get machines to exhibit behavior, which if done by humans, would be assumed to involve the use of intelligence.”
Genetic programming is a systematic method for getting computers to automatically solve a problem starting from a high-level statement of what needs to be done. Genetic programming is a domain-independent method that genetically breeds a population of computer programs to solve a problem. Specifically, genetic programming iteratively transforms a population of computer programs into a new generation of programs by applying analogs of naturally occurring genetic operations.
The genetic operations include crossover (sexual recombination), mutation, reproduction, gene duplication, and gene deletion. Analogs of developmental processes are sometimes used to transform an embryo into a fully developed structure. Genetic programming is an extension of the genetic algorithm (Holland 1975) in which the structures in the population are not fixed-length character strings that encode candidate solutions to a problem, but programs that, when executed, are the candidate solutions to the problem.
Programs are expressed in genetic programming as syntax trees rather than as lines of code. For example, the simple expression max(x*x,x+3*y)is represented as shown in Figure 2. Meeting Manager supports a variety of platforms, operating systems, and browsers. Meeting Manager supports various Windows and Macintosh operating systems. It also supports many permutations of browser versions within those operating systems. The table on the following page shows which operating systems and browser versions Meeting Manager supports. If you do not know your machine’s configuration, refer to this guide’s remaining sections for instructions on how to check your configuration.
Macintosh users should note that Meeting Manager supports Macintosh users to view meetings and control applications shared by Windows users. Beyond that core functionality, there are several known limitations. The limitations are described in the table on the following page. To provide a smoother steering return feeling on 1998-2000 Siennas, the steering rack guide has been changed. Use the following procedures to solve this problem upon customer complaint.
Power Steering Gear Removal:
1. Mark the outer tie rod ends/tie rod lock nut and the inner tie rod prior to removing the steering gear.
2. Mark the intermediate shaft to the steering rack pinion shaft (control valve shaft) prior to removing the steering gear.
3. Disconnect the clamp plate attached on the steering gear.
4. Disconnect the steering pressure lines from the steering gear.
Steering Rack Guide Replacement:
1. Using SST 09922-10010, remove the rack guide spring cap lock nut.
Note: Use SST 09922-10010 in the direction shown in Fig. 1.
2. Remove the rack guide spring cap, rack guide spring and rack guide subassembly.
a. Using SST 09612-10022 and a 21 mm box end wrench, remove the cap.
b. Remove the spring and rack guide.
3. Install a new rack guide subassembly. Reuse the original rack guide spring and rack guide spring cap.

Using the Z-Fi Mapper on the bike
1) Plug your computer into the Z-Fi unit with the supplied USB cable
2) Turn the power to the vehicle on
3) Start the Bazzaz Z-Fi Mapper program (ProgramFilesBazzazPerformanceZ-Fi Mapper)
4) The Z-Fi Mapper software should automatically connect to the Z-Fi unit.
5) Make and save changes according to the instructions on the next few pages
6) Be Sure to EXIT the Z-Fi Mapper program before turning OFF the power to the bike. Tuning the power to the bike OFF before exiting the program may cause your laptop to lockup.
7) You can create maps when you are away from the bike or when the bike is powered down by choosing the “Work Offline” option when prompted.
8) Note that some of the TABS of the Z-Fi Mapper software may not be available to view, based on the type of Z-Fi unit that you purchased. For instance, you can’t access the Traction Control Screen if you did not purchase a Z-Fi TC unit. Similarly you can’t access the Self Mapping screen unless you are plugged into the bike and you have a Z-AFM unit installed.

The simplest definition of RSS is an eXtensible Markup Language(XML) format that uses the Resource Description Framework (RDF) for representing information about resources on the World Wide Web. Similarly, Atom is another format based on XML technology.

There are a few types of feeds commonly found on web sites RSS 1.0, RSS 2.0 and Atom. There is quite a bit of debate about which type of xml format is better, but for the purpose of simplicity I will often be referring to feeds as RSS. RSS and Atom feeds are the structures that organize content which is being updated on a regular basis in order for others to retrieve it. This content could be articles, blog posts, photos, PDF documents, PowerPoint Presentations, audio files, video files, or other applications. If the content is the flesh of an orange then a feed would be its skin. The skin keeps the flesh in place so that it is easier to transport.
In 2003, RSS was more commonly associated with weblogs, known as blogs. Blogs and RSS feeds almost seemed to be an isolated cause and effect. Where there was a blog, you would find an RSS feed.
As this visualization shows, RSS feeds can more recently be seen being used for many different purposes. WebLogic Server implements Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) version 1.3 technologies (http://java.sun.com/j2ee/sdk_1.3/index.html). J2EE is the standard platform for developing multi-tier Enterprise applications based on the Java programming language. The technologies that make up J2EE were developed collaboratively by Sun Microsystems and other software vendors, including BEA Systems.
WebLogic Server J2EE applications are based on standardized, modular components. WebLogic Server provides a complete set of services for those modules and handles many details of application behavior automatically, without requiring programming. J2EE defines module behaviors and packaging in a generic, portable way, postponing run-time configuration until the module is actually deployed on an application server.
J2EE includes deployment specifications for Web applications, EJB modules, Enterprise applications, client applications, and connectors. J2EE does not specify how an application is deployed on the target server—only how a standard module or application is packaged. For each module type, the specifications define the files required and their location in the directory structure.
