  • Jetta IV, Golf IV Triple Gauge Panel Installation Instructions Tools Recommended: Radio Removal Keys 1. Prior to installing gauge panel, have all wires and tubing run to gauges and tested. It is recommended that all wires be left long to free workspace behind the panel. 2. Remove radio using radio removal keys. Snap keys in. Pull up and out. With radio hanging out, cover climate controls with a soft cloth to avoid scratches. Push in tabs on side of radio to remove keys. 3. Remove storage bin by pulling straight out. 4. Install center gauge into panel using standard U brackets included with most aftermarket gauges. If your 2 1/16 gauges did not come with mounting brackets, fabricate some, or order the standard brackets. Tighten center gauge tight by hand. Over tightening gauge will cause panel to bend. 5. The outer mounting brackets must be modified to install the triple gauge panel. There are two ways to modify the brackets to secure the panel. As illustrated to the right, you can simply use the outer leg of the mounting bracket to secure the gauge panel in place. To do this, you will need to cut the outer leg 1/8” shorter than the inner leg, and bend outward to extend beyond the side of the gauge panel. When installing, you will need at least ¼” of slack between the mounting bracket legs and the appropriate ribs along the inside of the center console. If need be, cut the bottom of the legs proportionally to allow enough slack. Similar
  • Canon ICC Profiles Guide pdf
  • Dedicated ICC profiles provided to allow accurate rendering of image data recorded in Adobe RGB color space. What is Adobe RGB color space? The most widely used color space for digital camera image data is the sRGB color space. But in addition to sRGB, certain high-end cameras such as the EOS-1Ds/1D/10D are capable of recording image data in Adobe RGB color space, a color space commonly used for commercial printing applications. Adobe RGB color space provides a broader color gamut than sRGB, particularly for colors in the cyan to green region. The reproduction range of BJ printers is similarly extended beyond the sRGB range in the cyan to green region. In other words, Adobe RGB provides a better match of the color reproduction ranges between these digital cameras and BJ printers than sRGB. Dedicated ICC profiles allow images recorded with extended color gamut in Adobe RGB color space to be printed using the full color reproduction range of BJ printers. Printing Adobe RGB images without the suitable adjustments would result in the substitution of color data outside the sRGB color range with sRGB colors, resulting in incorrect reproduction of colors on BJ printers, particularly for the colors in the gray region in the sample shown above. This is why dedicated ICC profiles are provided. These dedicated ICC profiles allow color reproduction information for image data to be transferred to the BJ printer with virtually no loss, allowing use of the full BJ printer color reproduction range. sRGB PIXUS Adobe RGB The
  • Web 2.0 Attacks Revealed
  • This paper details various security concerns and risks associated with web 2.0 technologies such as Asynchronous Java script and XML (AJAX), Syndication, aggregation and notification of data in RSS or Atom feeds, mashups created by merging content from different sources. This paper also describes the security implications leading with the usage of web 2.0 technologies such as AJAX, RSS, and Mashups. Increase in application functionality leading to the emerging new web technologies (web 2.0). These new web technologies open more avenues to security threats to the online applications and users. Efficient protection mechanisms should be considered when dealing with web 2.0 technologies usage. Now a days, web application security getting more prominent attention. This attention comes with the increase in the number of vulnerabilities in web applications due to the lack of proper security standards used in the development of the application. • Cert/CC Statistics shows that 7120 Software Vulnerabilities were Reported in 2006 • 194 SQL Injection Vulnerabilities were found on BugTraq between 2005-jan and 2005-June • Symantec highlights in its most recent Internet Security Threat Report that Web vulnerabilities constituted 69 percent of 2,249 new vulnerabilities identified for the first half of 2006, with 78 percent of "easily exploitable" vulnerabilities residing within Web applications. • Directory Traversal is the 2nd most common attack on the internet as of the 2nd half of 2005 • Roughly 63% of the Web application vulnerabilities can be accounted for by 4 vulnerability classes: file inclusion, SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and directory traversal. Regulations such as PCI, HIPAA,SOX etc and

  • This document outlines steps for troubleshooting the csUnit Addin for Visual Studio (csUnit4VS2005). You need administrative rights for some of the steps, e.g. write access to the registry. In Windows Vista you may need to confirm certain actions due to the User Account Control (UAC). Applicable Platforms – Visual Studio 2005 on Windows XP – Visual Studio 2005 on Windows Vista Procedure 1. Close all instances of Visual Studio regardless of version. Use task manager to verify that no instance of devenv.exe is running. 2. Uninstall all csUnit versions. 3. Using regedit, navigate to HKLM SoftwareMicrosoft.NETFrameworkAssemblyFolders. Ensure that no entry exists for csUnit. Remove if necessary. 4. With regedit open, navigate to HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftVisualStudio8.0AutomationOptionsLookInFolders and verify that it does not contain a value for csUnit. The exact name of that entry depends on your operating system and what installation folder you have chosen during setup. An example looks like this: C:Program Filescsunit.orgcsUnit 2.2.0 If necessary remove the value. Download pdf Troubleshooting csUnit Addin for Visual Studio

  • Using Cluster Analysis for Deriving Menu Structures for Automotive Mobile Multimedia Applications Paper
  • This paper describes the cluster analysis technique and how it can be used to support menu interface design for in-vehicle multimedia applications. Cluster analysis and similar types of classifying techniques have proven effective for developing simple menu interfaces. This paper extends the use of the cluster analysis technique to a more complex system that consists of 201 generic functions. These functions are representative of those being incorporated into near-term multimedia products. Study results show promise for using cluster analysis as a tool for incorporating the user’s organizational structure into the design of a complex menu architecture. Cluster analysis may also benefit the automotive menu designer by providing a means for partitioning menu tasks into chunkable units that can be easily accessed by the driver in single glances.
