  • Graphical objects, also known as entities, are the visible objects (lines, circles, raster images, and so forth) that make up a drawing. Each graphical object has methods that allow an application to perform most of the AutoCAD editing commands, such as Copy, Erase, Move, Mirror, and so forth. These objects also have methods for setting and retrieving extended data (xdata), highlighting and updating, and retrieving the bounding box of the object. Graphical objects have typical properties such as Layer, Linetype, Color, and Handle. They also have specific properties, depending on their object type, such as, Center, Radius, and Area. —ActiveX Automation User’s Guide, AutoCAD help file The Smart Factory Objects in the VisFactory programs bring unprecedented ease, accuracy, and speed to factory layout drafting. The Smart Factory Objects enable the user to rapidly draft and edit in 2D while simultaneously creating a sophisticated 3D model. The Smart Factory Objects are custom graphical objects. Custom graphical objects are visible objects (e.g., conveyors, lift tables, guard rails) that are created and displayed according to information and rules that are added to the base AutoCAD package. Each custom graphical object has methods that allow an application to perform most of the AutoCAD editing commands, such as Copy, Erase, Move, and Mirror. Custom graphical objects are typically much more complex than simple AutoCAD objects, but they are much smaller than the simple AutoCAD objects that would be required to represent the same visible objects. In addition, custom graphical objects behave according to set characteristics and rules. For

  • Meta Stock Formula Primer Manual
  • Introduction Equis has been supporting MetaStock for some years now and has frequently had questions from customers on how to write their own indicators, system tests, or explorations. The commands are printed in the manual, but most inquiries stemmed from people who had no idea how to begin. The MetaStock formula language involves some basic programming concepts and this seemed to have frightened many users into not even trying. This text explains, in small incremental steps, what the MetaStock formula language is and how it works. Soon you’ll know how to write a MetaStock function. Confidence will increase and you’ll bravely combine two functions into a single indicator. Amazed at how easily you did this, you’ll start using more until you suddenly realize, you are writing your own system tests and explorations. If you don’t believe this, then start reading chapter one. Be patient and follow the exercises. Please type in the formulas as they are shown and try them in MetaStock. You will get the most from this text if you actually do the exercises while reading the relevant sections. The more you use a program, the more comfortable you will be with it. Conventions used in this Document Throughout this text, you will receive instructions on using MetaStock and creating sample formulas. Below is a list of the symbols and special text used to distinguish these instructions and alert you to possible points of interest. Bold Bolded text refers to menu commands. Each step will be separated by the

  • Hitachi-LG GDR3120L Tutorial
  • The outer Xbox 360 “shell” is entirely screwless. Plastic friction tabs hold the case together. There are many different tutorials for opening the Xbox 360, with different methods. Here are some links to “opening the Xbox 360” tutorials. I decided not to cover opening the Xbox 360 in this tutorial since it is already long enough and there are many other tutorials for opening the Xbox 360. Notes: - The Anandtech guide says you need to use a Torx 12 screwdriver. There is no such thing. You need a Torx 10 screwdriver. - Removing the grey side grill on the hard drive side is a little tricky. The first friction tab is actually inaccessible from the top holes in the case, so you need to stick your screwdriver in the hole by where the hard drive button is and unclip it. (See Pic) - In order to push in the back clips, you can do one of two things. You can use a thin metal object such as a precision flathead screwdriver / bobby pin / paperclip OR you can make an opening “key” out of a CD spindle case. The key would not work for me, it was too flimsy, but it works for some people. You can purchase an “unlock kit.” - If all you want to do is just flash the firmware, you only need to remove the six long screws on the bottom. • WebDrive User Guide
  • The creation of electronic data in the form of web pages, text documents, spreadsheets, and graphics has grown significantly in the past decade. Because of this growth the complexity of managing, accessing, and collaborating on electronic data has also grown. Secure access over the Internet has become essential for sharing files with team members in the next office or around the world. WebDrive® offers users secure file access and collaboration. WebDrive uses industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and SFTP to ensure secure transmission of your files. WebDrive® can provide S/Key password encryption so that passwords cannot be read during transmission. WebDrive supports WebDAV protocol, which allows you to lock files, change the files, and then release the locks to allow other users to review and update the information. WebDrive allows you to connect to a GroupDrive® , FTP, WebDAV (DAV), SFTP, Amazon-S3®, or FrontPage® Server using a LAN or Internet connection and to map a Network Drive to the server. You can then treat the server as if it were a hard disk on your system. Drag and drop files or copy files to and from the server using Windows Explorer; or use familiar DOS commands such as copy and xcopy. WebDrive FTP or HTTP enables any application instantly by integrating the server site into the Windows file system. Download pdf WebDrive User Guide
  • Editing SGML Documents With Emacs Text Editor Tutorial Manual
  • Emacs (pronounced ee-max) started off in 1976 as a series of editor macros (hence its name) written by Richard Matthew Stallman for the TECO text editor on the DEC PDP-10 minicomputer. Since becoming its own program separate from TECO, it has become extremely popular and widely used for two main reasons: first, free versions of Emacs are available for nearly every computer in existence; second, it’s completely customizable. Many text editors and word processors claim to be completely customizable. Some let you reassign each key’s purpose, and they let you assign a series of operations to be performed by one or two keystrokes or menu choices. Perhaps this series of operations can have loops of repeated statements and if statements that execute one or another group of instructions based on whether a particular condition is true. If so, the editor’s proponents claim that its macro facility features a full-fledged programming language. This is usually an exaggeration, but not with Emacs. • MySQL and Perl, the marriage of convenience
  • MySQL and Perl have been around for quite a while. They are still widely used even if the "fashion" is changing. This article talks about these two products working together as a whole, either on the Internet or on your local network. The provided example is written for Unix systems, free or not, even if it can be adapted to other widespread "systems". What this article is : a small review of what can be done with this pair, showing ease of use, speed, reliability, security... What this article is not : neither a MySQL tutorial nor a Perl tutorial; neither a MySQL review nor a Perl review. Accordingly, we’ll see MySQL at work in combination with Perl, without forgetting that "there is more than one way to do it". What about this nice pair ? MySQL is a Relational DataBase Management System (RDBMS) available from http://www.mysql.com. It’s released under GNU GPL for free depending on what it is used for. Check the licensing policy on the MySQL’s website. It works either as a server or a client on many platforms. A few other RDBMS exist as free software and we won’t make any comparisons since the choice of MySQL for this article is arbitrary. Neither will we compare to the big "commercial" guns such as Informix, Oracle, Sybase... It is enough to say that MySQL is probably one of the most widely used DBM on the Internet. For this article we’ll use the version 3.23.36 (again, arbitrarily). At the time of this writing, the
