The famous game designer for his contribution to the gaming world Total Annihilation, Chris Taylor bravely led his team at Gas Powered Games to set the bases for yet another successful series – Dungeon Siege (GPG is now developing a highly anticipated RTS following TA’s legacy – Supreme Commander). Dungeon Siege was welcomed as a rewarding addition to the RPG genre and soon the farmer that set on the path to save the Kingdom of Ehb became a well known character to the fans of this genre. The medieval fantasy world with rich geographic regions proved to be a great place for the shy farmer to turn into a genuine hero (or heroine).

Although the release of the game was delayed by one year, RPG fans say it was worth it. The sequel to the popular action-RPG Dungeon Siege comes to bring the farmer face to face with even more frightful monsters and “jaw-dropping special effects” (as Gas Powered Games like to say). A hundred of years after the events in Legends of Aranna, the Great Cataclysm occurs and the world is bestowed by a magical catastrophe that puts an end to the First Age. Nothing to do now but set your humble (only at the beginning of course) character on a new quest to be the ultimate hero (or heroine).
