  • DocuShare is a web-based application that allows you to easily and efficiently manage electronic content. Using DocuShare, you can store and organize content, collaborate with other users on projects, search for and retrieve content, and automate document processes. Key DocuShare features enable you to: • Create and maintain your own account and personal work area without the assistance of a web master or site administrator. • Add documents and other types of objects to your site. • Maintain multiple versions of a document, track its revision history, and lock a document to prevent simultaneous editing. • Control access to site objects. • Set up notifications for objects to be notified of any changes, additions, and deletions. • Route documents for approval or review. Accessing DocuShare You access DocuShare by entering the URL of your DocuShare site in a web browser window. After you connect to DocuShare, the DocuShare home page is the first page you see. From the home page you can log in, access the content on your site, and use the navigational links to get to DocuShare features. Although your administrator can customize your site home page and different browsers may not display site elements the same, your home page should look similar to the example shown below. • Threat Modelling for ASP.NET Designing Secure Applications
  • A Web service is a network of coordinated applications in the backend behind an http-governed Web server. The Web server is addressed by http-clients across the Internet. ASP.NET is one example for the coordination technology. However, the security analysis holds for Web services in general, not only for ASP.NET. ASP.NET provides a set of components for developers to implement complex functionality in DLL. It is scalable, in that it provides state services to manage session variables (cookies, session ids, temporary URLs) across multiple Web servers in a server farm. It is stable, in that it can detect application failures and recover from them. It addresses both “managed code” (conformant to ASP.NET), as well as “unmanaged code” (“native code”) to include “legacy” applications. It is performant, because ASP.NET pages are compiled whereas ASP pages are interpreted. When an ASP.NET page is first requested, it is compiled and cached, or saved in memory, by the .NET Common Language Runtime (CLR). This cached copy can then be re- used for each subsequent request for the page. After the first request, the code can run from a much faster, compiled version, see Butler, Caudill [1] for details. In this paper we will use an abstract Web services model which allows us to identify different sources and targets of attacks. On the basis of our attack analysis we will provide a structured view on security guidelines which help developers to avoid the most obvious security holes. The security holes derive mainly from the fact that any kind
  • Life Forms & 3D Studio Max User Guide
  • Life Forms only animates segmented models. When you build a model that will be animated, consider how it is going to move. This helps you to determine how many segments the models should have and where the pivot points of each segment should be. There are no restrictions to the model’s zero-angle position ( the position where all joints have no rotation values. ) Life Forms can animate and apply motion to models with any zero-angle positions. However, when building a segmented model ensure that: • joint names are unique. • joint names have no spaces or special characters. • the polygon count for the model is less than 10,000. • the model is a reasonable size. Model height of 1 - 5 meters is recommended. Props must be no larger than 50 m by 50 m.. Tip: if your model is very detailed, create a lower resolution. You can animate the low resolution model and apply the motion to the high resolution model before rendering. Note, however, that the low and high resolution modelsmust beidentical except for the resolution. Download pdf Life Forms & 3D Studio Max User Guide

  • A comparison of Rasch Modeling, Parallel Analysis, and TETRAD
  • The evaluation of assessment dimensionality is a necessary stage in the gathering of evidence to support the validity of interpretations based on a total score, particularly when assessment development and analysis is conducted within an item response theory (IRT) framework. Unidimensionality refers to the existence of one underlying measurement construct (dimension) that accounts for variation in examinee responses. Violating this assumption could severely bias item and ability parameter estimation. In this study, we employ polytomous item responses to compare two methods that have received increased attention in recent years: Rasch model analysis (Rasch, 1960/1980) and Parallel analysis (Horn, 1965) with TETRAD (Glymour, 1982), a method for evaluating assessment structure that is less well-known in the educational measurement community, though confirmatory TETRAD analysis has been developed by Bollen and Ting (1993, 1998, 2000) for identifying causal indicators. Many methods of investigating unidimensionality are available. Two notable reviews of methods and indices of unidimensionality have been conducted within the last twenty-five years. Hattie’s (1985) review evaluated numerous standard approaches and showed that many lacked empirical support for the adequate assessment of unidimensionality. More recently, Tate (2003) conducted a review of methods and indices employed with dichotomous items, finding that options for assessing dimensionality had expanded and improved, and that most methods perform effectively “within the limits of their associated perspectives and assumptions.” While this study highlights the TETRAD method, compared to Rasch model and Parallel analyses, there are several established methods that are well-documented and widely used. • Queen’s Wifi Pilot User Guide Manual
  • Introduction An encrypted wireless network service has been implemented to offer users with their own laptops access to the University’s computer network. The service uses your QUB username and password for authentication. In order to protect your details, and the University network, the service will require you to install wireless client software on your machine. Queen’s has purchased a set number of licences so we need to record your email and staff/student number. You can still use your laptop on other networks, but you will need to disable the client software first. Once connected, you can browse the World Wide Web, and hence access your on- campus file store, and send and receive email. Use of the service is governed by the policies as set out at: http://www.qub.ac.uk/is/StaffComputing/ITServices/SecurityandAnti-Virus/SecurityPolicies/ This is a pilot service so users may suffer some teething problems. There may be short interruptions when new configurations are installed and when temporary equipment is being upgraded. See the webpage http://www.qub.ac.uk/is/StaffComputing/MobileComputing WirelessatQueens for information regarding any developments which may affect users. This wireless facility is in addition to the previous wireless service (through a remote server) and the laptop lending service. These are both still available in the Main and Science Libraries. • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - Games Cheats Hints & Trainer PC Guide
  • The name “Vice City” is a double entendre: on one hand, it is a direct reference to Michael Mann’s 1980’s police television series Miami Vice, but it also conveys the actual definition of the word, labeling Vice City a place of sin, greed and overindulgence; making it literally, a city of vice, hence the name of the game.
