Just What Is Web 2.0?
Web 2.0 refers to the second generation of the World Wide Web that offers a higher level of user interaction and collaboration. Collective intelligence is the concept that several individuals working together and combining their ideas and expertise will have better ideas and find better answers. With regard to Web 2.0, collective intelligence refers to any type of system that collects the expertise of a group rather than an individual to make decisions, including wikis and shared databases.
Podcasts are audio or video recordings posted on the Internet that may be downloaded and played on iPods, MP3 players or on the media players found on computers. This article introduces the incredibly easy-to-use Ajax support that is part of the Ruby on Rails web application framework. Google’s new service, Google Sitemaps, provides webmasters with a method to inform Google exactly which pages they want crawled, how often these pages change, and the order that these pages should be crawled.

Whether your web site contains a single web page or millions of pages, Google Sitemaps are useful for any business with a web site. If you want Google to crawl more of your web pages or you want to be able to tell Google when your web pages change, then you should be using Google Sitemaps.

A Google Sitemap is an XML file that follows the Google Sitemap Protocol.
