A windshield is not a substitute for a faceshield or goggles. Most windshields will not protect your eyes from the wind. Neither will eyeglasses or sunglasses. Glasses won’t keep your eyes from watering, and they might blow off when you turn your head while riding. To be effective, eye or faceshield protection must: • Be free of scratches. • Be resistant to penetration. • Give a clear view to either side. • Fasten securely, so it does not blow off. • Permit air to pass through, to Download Motorcycle Operator Manual PDF

  • Aluminum/Steel Construction Of The BMW 5 Series PDF Manual
  • The most interesting characteristic about the 2004 BMW 5 Series, from a collision repair perspective, is its construction. The front-end structure from the cowl forward is all-aluminum, while the rest of the vehicle’s structure is steel. The front portion of the lower rails is aluminum; the portion of the lower rails under the floor pan is steel. A rear portion of the upper rails is steel, however the rest of the upper rails are made of aluminum. The floor pan and the lower portion of the A-pillars are steel, both joined to an aluminum cowl panel. • RC5000 Pronto RAV2000 2001 Programming Touchscreens Learning
  • The Goal: Optimizing the Home Theater Control GUI For Useability GUI = Graphical User Interface Touch screens are “cool”. Fancy color graphics, slick looking button layouts and elaborate menu structures are multiplying everywhere you look. Fancy doesn’t mean good. Remember the key reason your customers are paying you for a professional installation: They want operation to be fast and straightforward. Forget EASY... EASY suggests that your customers are stupid. They do not want to study the manuals of their theater equipment. They don’t want to remember anything. They want to relax and have fun with their system WITHOUT anything getting in their way. The purpose of the home theater control GUI is to GET OUT OF THEIR WAY and SAVE THEM TIME. The pleasure of an automated system is that you spend the MINIMUM TIME operating the system and the maximum time enjoying the system. Cool looking graphical symbols and crowded screens REQUIRE that your customer be trained. They don’t have time or inclination to learn, they just want to have fun. What’s in it for you? “Designing cool graphics is fun. Making a complete graphic interface exclusive to my company is great advertising.” First, designing graphics is fun. It’s a nice break from installing home theaters. However, most businesses are complaining that they don’t have enough people to do the jobs available to them. You only make a profit if you are installing gear. No matter what you charge for labor, it will not make your company profits. Installing home theaters generates profits. Designing graphics
  • How to create, save, and upload Microsoft Word documents as Web pages
  • Writing documents in Microsoft Word™ is convenient and produces good looking results, but posting these documents to web sites presents a problem. Students who do not have a copy of Word installed can not view the documents. When a person without Word left-clicks on the link to the word document, they will be prompted to download the doc as a file. If they figure out how to download it and then try to open it, they will be presented with several unfriendly looking windows asking them how to open the file. This is more than enough to scare off the average student. Fortunately, there is an easy way to make Word convert documents into web friendly HTML pages. HTML pages can be viewed in any modern web browser and students do not need Microsoft Word™ to view them. This document covers creating a web friendly Word document, converting the word document into a web friendly HTML file, and uploading that file to a Blackboard Vista course. A guide to creating web friendly Word documents Most basic word documents translate very well into web friendly HTML files with little to no modification, but there are a few guidelines that it helps to follow while writing the Word doc. Some Word elements translate easily into web pages. Try to use these elements to format your pages as much as possible. Elements that work well for the web include: • Alignment (left, right, centered). • Bold and italics. Try to avoid using underline if possible. • Font size and color. •
  • 2001 Pontiac Firebird Owner’s Manual PDF
  • You can be severely injured or killed in a crash if you aren’t wearing your safety belt — even if you have air bags. Wearing your safety belt during a crash helps reduce your chance of hitting things inside the vehicle or being ejected from it. Air bags are “supplemental restraints” to the safety belts. All air bags are designed to work with safety belts, but don’t replace them. Air bags are designed to work only in moderate to severe crashes where the front of your vehicle hits something. They aren’t designed to inflate at all in rollover, rear, side or low-speed frontal crashes. And, for unrestrained occupants, air bags may provide less protection in frontal crashes than more forceful air bags have provided in the past. Everyone in your vehicle should wear a safety belt properly — whether or not there’s an air bag for that person. Download 2001 Pontiac Firebird Owner’s Manual PDF

  • AutoCAD LT 2007 Tutorial
  • Learning to use a CAD system is similar to learning a new language. We need to begin with the basic alphabet and learn how to use the basic alphabet correctly and effectively through practice. This will require learning some new concepts and skills as well as learning a different vocabulary. All CAD systems create designs using basic geometric entities. Most of the constructions used in technical designs are based upon two-dimensional planar geometry. The method and number of operations that are required to accomplish the construction are different from one system to another. In order to become effective in using a CAD system, we must learn to create geometric entities quickly and accurately. In learning to use a CAD system, lines and circles are the first two, and perhaps the most important two, geometric entities that we need to master the skills in creating and modifying. Straight lines and circles are used in almost all technical designs. In examining the different types of planar geometric entities, we can see that triangles and polygons are planar figures bounded by straight lines. Ellipses and splines can be constructed by connecting arcs with different radii. As we gain some experience in creating lines and circles, similar procedures can be applied to create other geometric entities. In this lesson, we will examine the different ways of creating lines and circles in AutoCAD® LT 2007. Download pdf AutoCAD LT 2007 Tutorial
