The SEO Book for WordPress 2.5 BlogsSince the release of v2.5 many things have changed for WordPress users. While SEO still has some basic rules, optimizing a WordPress blog is getting easier as new plugins are added and upgraded. The most important change in WordPress v2.5 (and above) is the new improved dashboard. As with all change this revision triggered much controversy, pros, cons and confusion. Those users familiar with the previous versions of WordPress found it hard to adapt to the new interface, and many beginners found the navigation less intuitive than they expected.
As any SEO professional would tell you, be forewarned that despite the ?social media traffic? generated through bookmarking sites and social networks like digg, StumbleUpon, mixx, Second Brain and so on, search engine optimization is still important. Poorly optimized sites don’t do well in social networking, for obvious reasons you’ll discover on subsequent pages. The success equation is simple: poor SEO = wasted traffic = poor conversions (lost sales).
This short eBook will reveal the most important SEO aspects for WordPress blogs (and for any other blog or website in general).
Hosting
WordPress is the best content management system for blogs and it can also make a decent CMS for standard websites. However, there are some ?minor details? any WordPress user needs to understand before reading further.
There are basically two blog solutions offered by WordPress: a CMS software script to download free and use on your own domain, or a free WordPress account where you can signup to create a free blog. However this wouldPractical PHP ProgrammingWriting PHP code is quite a fun task – as we’re sure of you will agree – it’s an easily learnt, flexible, and feature-rich language that lends itself very well to scripts of all shapes and sizes. Almost certainly as a result of this comparative ease of use, many PHP programmers take to re-inventing the wheel a lot and spend much time writing and rewriting ‘new and improved’ code to handle authentication, caching, forums, opinion polls, and other systems that have been coded and recoded in the past.
This is not unique to PHP as a language. C++, for instance, utilises the Standard Template Library (STL) to provide abstract data types (ADTs) for programmers that are pre-written, pre-optimised, and are cross-platform. As a result, a programmer writing for Windows using C++ can create and use STL stacks, vectors, maps, and queues, and have them recompile smoothly on Mac OS, OS/390, Solaris, and, of course Linux. This is immensely time-saving, so it’s unsurprising that many other languages have their own versions of this plan. In PHP, this is known as PEAR, the PHP Extension and Application Repository, and is available from http://pear.php.net. The purpose of this tutorial is to briefly outline what PEAR can offer, with a particular focus (thanks to popular demand) on PEAR::DB, the advanced database abstraction library that forms the most popular part of PEAR.

And remember, there’s no need to follow this tutorial or ref-images exactly, let your creativity flow and make the scissors your own. Lets start by putting the image I found from Google (1A) to viewport’s background by pressing ALT+B in maximized (AL+W) left viewport. Check the ‘Match Bitmap’ and ‘Lock Zoom/Pan’ so that the image styles in place. (You can get the image from this tutorials additional .zip-file. Read the instructions int the last page to get your hands onto it.) Then, make an ellipse spline around the darker edges of the hole. Convert it to Editable Spline.
Use ‘Create Line’ in vertex subobject level to start a new line that follow the other dark edge (1B). Use “i” if you need to center the viewport while drawing the spline. You should get something like the image

Though note the only time when it’s possible to do it is between 2:00AM a nd 8:00AM (GMT). The trick does work every day however. Previous requirements: A FREE MEGAUPLOAD user account. Mozilla Firefox web browser. Download Manager (FlashGet, ReGet Deluxe, Get Right, etc…)
We must then follow these steps: 1. Install the ProxySel extension for Firefox We can do this by going to: https://addons.mozilla.org/es-ES/firefox/addon/4457 and clicking the Install Now button. If the link doesn’t work we can just search for it from: http://addons.mozilla.org Once installed we must restart Firefox, then we should see the new bar f ully functional located right next to the menu bar. 2. Install the MEGAUPLOAD TOOLBAR extension For this we go to: http://www.megaupload.com/toolbar Assuming we meet the simple system requirements shown there, we now just click on the big red dow nload button at the bottom, and then proceed to install it. Once installed it will automatically open an IE window which we can just close right away. When we open F irefox again we should now see the MEGAUPLOAD Toolbar extension enabled in there as well.

Download Checklist for Building a PC that Plays HD DVD or Bluray Movies pdfGetting Started with Freeway Shop in a BoxOf the many innovations the Internet has brought us, one of the most visible is online shopping. The advantages for merchants are clear lower overheads in both staff and shop space, provision of greater convenience for their customers, 24/7 and international availability of the store, and the ability to compete on a far more level playing field with larger companies. The spread of internet shopping sites is a testament to all of these.
However, the implementation of an online store has often been difficult, especially for the individual user. A catalogue needs to be presented allowing customers to select products to buy, these product choices must be tracked (usually in the form of the common shopping cart), and all-importantly, a secure way of processing the customer’s payment details is vital.
As is often the case, a demand for services rapidly begets solutions, and there are now numerous companies that offer these services for integration into a website. PayPal, Verisign, and Authorize.Net are well- known companies who provide secure credit card processing services. Many companies who provide shopping carts link with these (and other) credit card processors.
One of the better of the shopping carts is Mal’s e-commerce (http://www.mals-e.com) which provides two packages: a free service offering integration with PayPal, NoChex and Paymate, and a premium service offering integration with VeriSign, Authorize.Net and a wide variety of other credit card processors.
And now, using the power of Freeway’s Actions technology, you can take advantage of Mal’s shopping cart to quickly create your own online store.C# Versus JavaMicrosoft describes C# ("C sharp") as a "simple, modern, object-oriented, and type-safe programming language derived from C and C++." That statement would apply equally well to Java. In fact, after comparing the two languages, it's obvious that prerelease descriptions of C# resemble Java more than C++. As Example 1 illustrates, the language features and syntax are similar. Example 1(a) is the canonical "Hello World" program in Java, while Example 1(b) is the program in C#.
(a)
class HelloWorld {
public static void main(String[] args) {
System.out.println("Hello, World!");
}
}
(b)
class HelloWorld {
public static void Main(string[] args) {
System.Console.WriteLine("Hello, World!");
}
}
Example 1: Hello World. (a) in Java; (b) in C#.
But the resemblance goes beyond syntax, keywords, and delimiters. It also includes features that Java
and C# hold in common, such as:
Automatic garbage collection.
Reflection for type information discovery.
Source code is compiled to an intermediate bytecode.
Just-in-Time (JIT) compilation compiles bytecode into native code.
Everything must be in a class — no global functions or data.
No multiple inheritance, although you can implement multiple interfaces.
All classes derive from Object.

The technology formerly known as WPF/E is now known as Silverlight. Microsoft has given a go-to-market name for its cross-platform, cross-browser plug-in for delivering the next generation of user experiences and rich Internet applications for the Web. The technology formerly known as WPF/E is now known as Silverlight.
Microsoft announced Silverlight at the National Association of Broadcasters conference in Las Vegas on April 16. The NAB announcement highlights Silverlight uses for media users. The software company will announce further details about the technology at its own Mix07 conference, which starts at the end of April and runs through May 2 in Las Vegas.
Forest Key, a director of product management in the Microsoft Server and Tools Division, said Silverlight integrates with existing Web technologies and assets to provide higher quality experiences with lower costs for media delivery. In a briefing with eWEEK, Key demonstrated how Silverlight offers consistent experiences to both Mac and Windows users on a variety of browsers, including Internet Explorer, FireFox and Safari.
As for which platform Silverlight will support next, Key said, "Linux is an open question. We're looking at the desktops and browsers by volume. We want to put muscle behind supporting the bulk of the market." And Linux support is still under discussion, he said.
Silverlight uses WMV (Windows Media Video), Microsoft's implementation of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers VC-1 video standard, ensuring compatibility with the millions of hours of content already available on the Web. ItUniversal Type Client User GuideIn Universal Type Server, all the fonts in the organization are consolidated into a single, secure location on a server. Fonts are managed as follows:
• The administrator subdivides the fonts into workgroups intended for specific types of users or projects
• The administrator decides which workgroups you need to access.
• You access workgroups, and the fonts within them, through the Universal Type Client application.
• Your user permissions control what you can do with fonts within each workgroup, including whether you can add fonts, share sets, change a font’s class, and more.
• Some users are font administrators, giving them more power over fonts.
The Universal Type Server Daily Workflow
If you’ve been using another font manager, your workflow stays relatively the same ----- open the font manager, find the fonts you want to use, and activate them. The benefit of Universal Type Server is that everyone you work with has access to the same fonts at the same time. Take a look at the typical use of Universal Type Server:
• Launch the Universal Type Client
• Open the appropriate workgroup (in many cases, you will belong to only one workgroup)
• Use the Universal Type Client to sort and preview fonts
• Customize font keywords, classes, foundries, and more*
• Create sets of fonts for specific projects or clients
• Add new fonts you purchased or received with jobs*
• Activate any fonts you want to use
• Use the fonts in any application in any document
• Collect fonts for output* Universal Type Server can also activate fonts automatically when you
