A new model joins the Accent lineup this year the Accent 5 a four door GL with a hatchback instead of a traditional trunk. This front wheel drive subcompact is powered by a 4 cylinder 1 6 litre engine that comes with either manual or automatic transmission. Interior and trunk Because the car is low to the ground tall people will find it somewhat difficult to get into. Once seated they will find the front seats quite comfortable especially the driver s seat with its two adjustment wheels that make it easy to find just the right driving position. Getting out of the rear seat is harder than getting into it foot room is limited and the doors open on a tight angle Since headroom is limited it seats two adults comfortably only if they are of no more than medium height.

Most 17” wheels will clear the outer diameter of the caliper. Wheel weights mounted on the inside of the wheel may need to be repositioned. The more critical clearance is the spokes of the wheel to the outer face of the caliper. Do not assume an 18, 19 or even 20 inch wheel will clear the outer face of the caliper. A minimum distance of 60.81mm, measured from the outer rotor face to the inside face of the wheel spokes. This is the net metal-to-metal measurement. We recommend at least 2mm additional clearance to clear the ST-40 caliper on our big brake kits. Please refer to the Wheel Fitment section of our website to confirm any wheel fitment issues.

The X-Trail is quite a roomy and comfortable vehicle for its size. Head and leg room in both the front and the rear seating positions is adequate for most adults. The front bucket seats offer reasonable support and shape, although the cushions could do with some additional bolstering to further improve lateral support. The rear luggage area is quite spacious with the added versatility of a split fold rear seat. A hard plastic finish is used in the cargo area that is practical and easy to clean, but tends to look cheap. One of the first things you’ll notice once seated in the driver’s position of the X-Trail is that all the instruments are located in the centre of the dash, rather than behind the steering wheel. In fact, the entire layout of the dash is rather unusual.

At the time most people movers were based upon commercial variants in a manufacturers range and the vehicle from a distance looked more like a delivery van with windows. Move forward to the present time and look at the new Honda Odyssey. A purpose built vehicle that since its initial release in 1996 has been constantly improved and refined.
