The part is positioned so that the lower left corner of the rectangle is at 1,1. The contours are drawn as polylines and the drill holes are drawn as circles. All the layers for dimensions and notes can be turned off to reduce the clutter or they may remain on while AUTO-CODE is running. For this tutorial we will be turning them off. In AutoCAD, select the layer control list and freeze the layers that are not used for programming the part.
To freeze the layers, change the sun icon into a snowflake. The only layers you will need for this tutorial are 0 and DefPoints. After turning off the extra layers, you should only see the top and side views of the part. We are going to focus on the top view only.
Starting with a 4 by 6 by ½ inch stock material, the part will be clamped along the top and bottom edges. It is not necessary to show the clamps in AUTO-CODE. It is necessary that you know where they are located relative to the drawing.
For this basic part, we are going to drill the five holes indicated by circles and then cut out the rectangular area in the center using a half-inch end mill. The drill holes will be 3/8” (0.375”) in diameter. With the drawing open, the next step is to launch AUTO-CODE.

Often, those systems apply proprietary techniques to achieve security and predictable timing behavior, even in case of faults. With the need of integrating multiple of those control systems into a bigger whole, requirements arise to open up proprietary systems for standard (non real-time) distributed computing technology.
Component-oriented programming provides a promising way to system composition out of units with contractually specified interfaces and explicit context dependencies. Software component can be deployed independently, they are subject to composition by third parties. There exist a number of distributed component frameworks, notably the Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) [14] , Microsoft’s Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM/COM+) [4] , SUN’s JavaBean Model [7] , and the relatively new .NET framework.
Although all of these frameworks simplify the implementation of complex, distributed systems significantly, the support of techniques for reliable, fault-tolerant, and secure software, such as group communication protocols or replication is very limited. Any fault tolerance extension for components needs to trade off data abstraction and encapsulation against implementation specific knowledge about a component’s internal timing behavior, resource usage, interaction and access patterns. These non-functional aspects of a component are crucial for the predictable behavior of real-time and fault-tolerance mechanisms. Cluster analysis and similar types of classifying techniques have proven effective for developing simple menu interfaces. This paper extends the use of the cluster analysis technique to a more complex system that consists of 201 generic functions. These functions are representative of those being incorporated into near-term multimedia products.
Study results show promise for using cluster analysis as a tool for incorporating the user’s organizational structure into the design of a complex menu architecture. Cluster analysis may also benefit the automotive menu designer by providing a means for partitioning menu tasks into chunkable units that can be easily accessed by the driver in single glances.

The following components are required to accelerate TCP traffic in both directions.
• TCP Accelerator Client: this is a client based software application and is installed on the user’s PC to enhance performance in the send/upload direction.
• TCP Accelerator Network: a server based application for non-VPN users. This sits within the network and together with TCP Accelerator Client enhances performance in the receive/download direction. (To be released.)
• TCP Accelerator VPN Enterprise: a server based application for VPN users. This sits within the Enterprise site and together with TCP Accelerator Client enhances performance in the receive/download direction. (To be released.) At the time of publication, only TCP Accelerator Client is available, and so only performance in the send direction can be improved by the software.
