Introduction to Microsoft Access 2003Microsoft Access 2003 is a powerful, yet easy to learn, relational database application for Microsoft Windows. This tutorial is designed for users who are new or only have little experience using Access 2003. It introduces fundamental database concepts and operations and illustrates how they are performed in Microsoft Access 2003. This tutorial does not cover all of the features and functions of Microsoft Access 2003; emphasis will be on basic and frequently-used features, such as the creation of tables and queries, or importing spreadsheet into Access.
Please be aware that Microsoft Access is only available for Windows users; Mac users may want to seek out a FileMaker Pro Tutorial.

The cable between the two S-Video Baluns must respect the pin configuration of the baluns. The twisted pairs must correspond to the correct pins and the polarity must be respected. That is, Pin 1 on one end must connect to Pin 1 at the other, and so on for the other seven pins. Each of the following pin-pairs constitutes a twisted pair; Pins 1&2, Pins 7&8, Pins 4&5, Pins 3&6 as shown in the following diagram. Pins 7&8 carry the Luma (Y) signal and pins 4&5 carry the Chroma (C) signal. Unlike previous issues, the March 2007 DoubleClick is published using Quark XPress 7. This issue was created with help from an OWC Mercury Extreme 1.4 GHz G4 Power Macintosh AGP Graphics tower, (with our thanks to OWC), and a 1 GHz G4 iBook. A Kodak DX7590 is used for all pictures. The interface accesses databases, organizes WEPP and CLIGEN simulations, creates all necessary input files for WEPP and CLIGEN, and executes the Fortran models when necessary. The interface also accesses and processes output information from the Fortran models for display and access by the user.
Section 1. WEPP Software Installation
The WEPP model and Windows interface can be installed from a file on a CD-ROM, or from the installation program downloaded from the NSERL web site. At the time of this document revision, the installation executable file was “wepp7-2002.exe”.
Use either Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer to locate the installation file “wepp7-2002.exe” on your CD-ROM drive or in the directory in which you downloaded it from the NSERL Web site. Use the mouse to double-click on the WEPPWIN.EXE file. This will start the installation process.
