T-Splines Maya Plugin Version 1.6After installing the T-Splines plugin, you need to tell Maya to use it.
• On the menu, select Window -> Settings/Preferences -> Plug-in Manager.
• Look for "TSplineShape" (it will be followed by .mll, .so, or .lib; this depends on your operating system). You may need to scroll down to find it.
• Put a check in both the "loaded" and "auto load" boxes. This will load the plug-in and make sure it reloads every time you start Maya.
After you load the plug-in, a "TSplines" menu should appear on the menu bar. Most of what you can do with the plug-in is accessed through this menu. The menu contains links to the T-Spline help pages, the forum, and to many of the operations that you can perform on T-Splines.
Creating a Shelf
To create a shelf with commonly used functions, choose "Create Shelf" from the T-Splines menu. If it's your first time creating the shelf, a new "TSplines" shelf will be added and will be filled with icons. If the shelf already exists, it will re-add any icons that may be missing. Even if you add your own icons to the shelf, you can safely "Create Shelf" again; it will not modify your existing icons. It's a good idea to use "Create Shelf" after upgrading to a new version of the plug-in, as we will probably add new icons on occasion.

To make this easier, OJB comes with a blank project template called ojb-blank which you're encouraged to use. You can download it here. For the purpose of this guide, we'll be showing you how to setup the project for a simple application that handles products and uses MySQL. This is continued later on in the next tutorial parts.
First off, OJB uses Ant to build, so please install it prior to using OJB. In addition, please make sure that the environment variables ANT_HOME and JAVA_HOME are correctly set to the top-level folders of your Ant distribution and your JDK installation, respectively. Next download the latest ojb-blank and OJB binary distributions. You can also start with the source distribution rather than the binary as the unit tests provide excellent sample code and you can build the ojb-blank project on your own with it.
The ojb-blank project contains all libraries necessary to get running. However, there may be additional libraries required when you venture deeper into OJB's APIs. See here for a list of additional libraries. Most notably, you'll probably want to add the jdbc driver for you database unless you plan to use the embedded Hsqldb database for which the ojb-blank project is pre-configured (including all necessary jars).

If you have a Facebook or MySpace page, download video from YouTube, subscribe to RSS feeds, or use Wikipedia, you’re also participating in Web 2.0. Web 2.0 describes a new generation of the web, designed around content created by users. High-tech industry people describe Web 2.0 sites as “collaborative”, “participatory and interactive”, “personalized”, or “community-driven” because these sites enable people to go beyond simply reading content provided by others. People can proactively share their interests and ideas with other site visitors.
Blogs, podcasts, dating sites, social and business networks, and mashup sites combining data from multiple sites are all part of Web 2.0. This is in stark contrast to Web 1.0 – still what most sites represent – where the content is created by the site owner and offers little or no opportunity for the site visitor to enter into a dialogue or add their own content. Online banking, e-tail stores, and most corporate web sites are examples of the Web 1.0 world.
Web 2.0 also let you navigate through sites in different ways that can provide a more participatory experience through rich, interactive text and image displays:
• drop down menus that might appear anywhere on the screen
• fly over or pop-up windows
• rollover images that change when you move the mouse over them
• dynamic scrolling menus
All these features enable you to interact with the web site far more than the click-boxes, buttons, and hyperlinks of theSony Ericsson Announced W810iSony Ericsson organizes embarrassing picture contest · The Walkman Phone W600i

Download pdf Programming SQL ServerFixing MySQL after upgrading to Mac OS X 10.2Many users who installed the GoLive Preconfigured Servers and MySQL on Mac OS X 10.1.x found that MySQL was broken after they upgraded to Mac OS X 10.2. If you run the Start MySql script and get an error message as seen below in Figure 5.1 then you need to fix your MySQL installation under OS X 10.2. The good news is that it's very easy and this step-by- step tutorial will walk you through the process.
When you installed MySQL under Mac OS X 10.1.x you had to create a user account called mysql so MySQL could run properly. Now with Mac OS X 10.2, Apple conveniently includes a default mysql user in the system so you no longer need to create that user account yourself. The problem addressed in this tutorial only arises when you install MySQL under Mac OS X 10.1.x and then upgrade to Mac OS X 10.2 because the standard user account created on the machine for MySQL is hijacked or overwritten by a Netinfo only user account of the same name. Bascially, we'll just delete the Netinfo user in Netinfo Manager and recreate the standard user account.
Step 1: Locate and launch the NetInfo Manager Application
Find the NetInfo Manager application in your Applications/Utilities folder and launch it by double-clicking. The application icon looks like the one in Figure 5.2....

In this tutorial, Mike Olson and Uche Ogbuji introduce WSDL4Py, an open-source Python library for WSDL 1.1 hosted by IBM developerWork's open-source zone. Usage of the library is explained, as well as discussion of its development.
Setting up WSDL4Py
The prerequisites for using the WSDL4Py library and the examples in this tutorial are as follows:
*A working knowledge of the Python programming language, and WSDL.
*Python: version 2.0 or more recent is highly recommended, but 1.5.2 will work as well.
*4Suite: version 0.11 or more recent. The software should work under UNIX and Windows. Unfortunately, Macintosh users must wait for someone to port the XPath library of 4Suite to that platform, or wait for 4Suite-0.11.1 that will have a pure Python XPath parser
Installation is quite simple. Download and unpack the archive, then run the command python setup.py install, which will copy the library to the appropriate location in your PYTHONPATH. To test the installation, run the following command:
$ python -c "import wsdllib"
Reading WSDL descriptions
WSDL provides the means of giving descriptions to Web services. These descriptions are normally stored in a UDDI registry so that they can be looked up by other services. For the sake of simplicity in our examples, we will consider a standalone implementation without the use of a UDDI registry. The first use of the WSDL library implemented in our project is to read and parse the contents ofSetting up the LitePro 580 ManualThis chapter describes how to position the LitePro for optimum viewing, how to connect computers and video equipment to the LitePro, and how to power up the projector. Getting started 1. Choose a location where you can dim the lighting. ” To use the LitePro in a well-lit room, use a special high gain screen, which you can obtain from your In Focus dealer. 2. Place the LitePro on a flat surface. 3. Orient the LitePro so that its lens is at a right angle to the projec-tion screen. ” If you want to use the LitePro s Rear Project feature, set it up behind a translucent screen. See Rear Proj on page 28. 4. Remove the lens cover. 5. Plug the power cord into the LitePro, then plug it into your elec-trical outlet. Always use the power cord that was shipped with your LitePro.
The LitePro accepts power from 110-120 VAC and 220-240 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz, three-wire type grounded sources. When you disconnect the LitePro, always remove the power cord from the electrical outlet first, then from the LitePro. It is recommended that you connect a power strip between the LitePro and your electrical outlet to protect against a power surge. Positioning the projector The distance from the LitePro 580 to the screen determines the size of the projected image. Use of the LitePro s X1.4 zoom lens also affects screen size. The table below indicates the size of the screen image when using the maximum
