  • Moscow ML Owner’s Manual
  • Moscow ML implements Standard ML (SML), as defined in the 1997 Definition of Standard ML, including the SML Modules language and some extensions. Moreover, Moscow ML supports most required parts of the SML Basis Library. It supports separate compilation and the generation of stand-alone executables. This document explains how to use the Moscow ML system. A companion document, the Moscow ML Language Overview, summarizes Moscow ML syntax and the most common built-in functions [9]. Another companion document, the Moscow ML Library Documentation, describes in detail all Moscow ML library modules [10]. Get a copy of the Moscow ML system executables (see Section 20 for instructions) and unpack them in your home directory (under Unix) or in directory C: (under MS Windows and DOS). This creates a directory mosml. Read the flle mosml/install.txt. This manual, as well as the Moscow ML Language Overview and the Moscow ML Library Documentation, are in directory mosml/doc. The interactive system is invoked by typing mosml at the shell prompt. It allows you to enter declarations and evaluate expressions: You can quit the interactive session by typing ‘quit();’ or control-D (under Unix) or control-Z followed by new- line (under MS Windows and DOS). Type help “lib”; for an overview of built-in function libraries, and e.g. help “Array” for help on Array operations. See Section 3 for further information on mosml. Download Moscow ML Owner’s Manual

  • User’s Guide for MS-DOS Clients Manual
  • This guide tells how to install and use Microsoft Network Client version 3.0 for MS-DOS®. Network Client is software that you install on a computer running the MS-DOS operating system so that the computer can use resources on a network. For example, a computer with Network Client can use printers, programs, and data stored on a Windows NT Server computer. With Network Client, your computer can use resources on Microsoft networks, which are typically arranged in the following ways: • Domains have Windows NT Server computers handling the major work of MS DOS Interrupts ebook network administration. You log on to the network using a single password that controls your access to resources throughout the domain. A network administrator must create a user account for you on the Windows NT™ Server computers. • Workgroups do not have central administration. The participating computers typically run Windows NT, Microsoft Windows® for Workgroups, or Microsoft Workgroup Add-On for MS-DOS. You log on to the network using a password for your own computer, but then you may have to supply additional passwords as you connect to resources on other computers. • Other networks may have different organizations, such as Microsoft® Download pdf User’s Guide for MS-DOS Clients Manual
  • Modeling a dragon with NURBS in Maya
  • This piece of article will show you step by step of how the dragon is created using Maya. There are three type of modeling method in Maya, NURBS modeling, Subdivision modeling and Polygon modeling, each of them have their advantages and disadvantages. However we will build the dragon using patch NURBS surface techniques. The tools that I use to model this dragon are Birail tools, NURBS primitive, Fillet Blend Tools and etc. In the first section, I will show you how the dragon is created by using Maya. Next section, texturing the dragon will be shown. We need to paint the texture and create bump map in PhotoShop, but before that, I will need Deep Paint 3D to create reference line on how the texture will be distorted by NURBS. The detail will be covered in the texturing section. Before I start launching Maya, I will do some concept sketching on paper. This is important, as it will be easier for me to visualise the object I have in mind later on. I wanted to create a dragon between realistic and imaginative. I want it to look like a T-Rex but with horn and larger forelimbs. Only the side orthographic is needed to create the model. When I have done, I will scan in the sketch and save it as JPEG. • Dvipdfm Users Manual pdf
  • This package is a DVI (TEX) to PDF conversion utility, having the following features: • Support for outline entries (also called bookmarks), named destinations, and annotations (including hyperlinks, forms and widgets). Nearly every Acrobat Distiller pdfmark is approximated. • Support for “standard” DVI specials such as HyperTEX (HTML), TPIC, color specials, PSfile, and other PostScript specials. • Native support for inclusion of MetaPost output and inclusion of arbitrary PostScript files with help from an external program. • Support for thumbnails with a little help from GhostScript to generate the thumbnails. • Support for arbitrary, nested linear transformations of typeset material. Any material on the page, including TEX text, may be scaled and rotated. • Ability to include the first page of a PDF file as an encapsulated object along with its embedded resources such as fonts. Included PDF images may be cropped by supplying a bounding box. Note: Currently, this doesn’t work if the contents stream has multiple segments. • Ability to include JPEG and PNG bitmapped images as encapsulated objects. • An internal color stack. A color stack allows you to change the current color, pushing the current color onto a stack. At any time, the original color can be popped from the stack. This is useful, for example, in headlines, that may have a different color from the current text. The headline macro can restore the current color without knowing what it is. • Support for partial font embedding and Flate compression to reduce file size • Support for font

  • Fixing MySQL after upgrading to Mac OS X 10.2
  • Many users who installed the GoLive Preconfigured Servers and MySQL on Mac OS X 10.1.x found that MySQL was broken after they upgraded to Mac OS X 10.2. If you run the Start MySql script and get an error message as seen below in Figure 5.1 then you need to fix your MySQL installation under OS X 10.2. The good news is that it's very easy and this step-by- step tutorial will walk you through the process. When you installed MySQL under Mac OS X 10.1.x you had to create a user account called mysql so MySQL could run properly. Now with Mac OS X 10.2, Apple conveniently includes a default mysql user in the system so you no longer need to create that user account yourself. The problem addressed in this tutorial only arises when you install MySQL under Mac OS X 10.1.x and then upgrade to Mac OS X 10.2 because the standard user account created on the machine for MySQL is hijacked or overwritten by a Netinfo only user account of the same name. Bascially, we'll just delete the Netinfo user in Netinfo Manager and recreate the standard user account. Step 1: Locate and launch the NetInfo Manager Application Find the NetInfo Manager application in your Applications/Utilities folder and launch it by double-clicking. The application icon looks like the one in Figure 5.2.... Download pdf for Fixing MySQL after upgrading to Mac OS X 10.2
  • 2008 Nissan Service and Maintenance Guide PDF Manual
  • Nissan developed Premium Maintenance for owners who want the ultimate in preventative maintenance. With Premium Maintenance, more maintenance items are regularly checked or replaced than with either Schedule 1 or Schedule 2 maintenance schedules. Using the Premium Maintenance schedule may optimize the performance, reliability, and resale value of your vehicle. SCHEDULE 1 (Every 3,750 miles or 3 months, whichever comes first) Schedule 1 features the same 3,750-mile service intervals as Premium Maintenance; however, with Schedule 1 fewer maintenance items are regularly checked or replaced than with the Premium Maintenance schedule. Use Schedule 1 if you primarily operate your vehicle under any of these conditions: Repeated short trips of less than 5 miles in normal temperatures or less than 10 miles in freezing temperatures Stop-and-go traffic in hot weather or low-speed driving for long distances. G Driving in dusty conditions or on rough, muddy, or salt-spread roads G G G SCHEDULE 2 (Every 7,500 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first) Schedule 2 features 7,500-mile service intervals; with Schedule 2 fewer maintenance items are regularly checked or replaced than with Schedule 1. Generally, Schedule 2 applies only to highway driving in temperate conditions. Use Schedule 2 only if you primarily operate your vehicle under conditions other than those listed in Schedule 1. * Premium Maintenance is a Nissan-recommended option; however, owners need not perform such maintenance in order to maintain the warranties which come with their Nissan. Premium Maintenance may not be available outside the United States, please inquire of your dealer.
  • Yahoo! BLUEPRINT Mobile Application Platform
  • The Blueprint language is an XML markup set based partly on XForms. Applications are hosted on your own Web server, which must respond to HTTP requests from Yahoo!’s server by returning valid Blueprint pages; Yahoo’s server acts as an intermediary between your application and the end-user’s hand-held device. To host a Blueprint application, you must submit a package containing configuration and resource files to Yahoo!. The application package does not contain any Blueprint markup or scripting code; these are supplied directly by your server at runtime. There are several ways to deploy a Blueprint application. Options include browser-based Mobile Sites, Yahoo! Go Widgets, and stand-alone Mobile Apps (when available) Getting Started: 1 Download the SDK at mobile.yahoo.com/devcenter/downloads 2 Read the documentation at developer.yahoo.com/mobile/blueprint 3 Build your service on your own server and return Blueprint XML. 4 Read the Deployment Guide at developer.yahoo.com/mobile/blueprintdeployguide and publish your service at mobile.yahoo.com/developers/manage Download pdf Yahoo!
