Water Erosion Prediction Project (WEPP) Windows Interface TutorialThis WEPP software consists of an erosion prediction model (WEPP) written in the Fortran programming language, a climate generator program (CLIGEN) also written in the Fortran programming language, and a Windows interface (WEPPWIN) written in the Visual C++ programming language. The interface accesses databases, organizes WEPP and CLIGEN simulations, creates all necessary input files for WEPP and CLIGEN, and executes the Fortran models when necessary. The interface also accesses and processes output information from the Fortran models for display and access by the user.
Section 1. WEPP Software Installation
The WEPP model and Windows interface can be installed from a file on a CD-ROM, or from the installation program downloaded from the NSERL web site. At the time of this document revision, the installation executable file was “wepp7-2002.exe”.
Use either Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer to locate the installation file “wepp7-2002.exe” on your CD-ROM drive or in the directory in which you downloaded it from the NSERL Web site. Use the mouse to double-click on the WEPPWIN.EXE file. This will start the installation process.

Take a look in the upper right hand corner. The solution, project and other files created by Blend are identical to the files created by Visual Studio 2008. In fact; there is no exporting/importing between the two; you can open both development environments on the same files simultaneously and they will both work perfectly.

Formally, “Web 2.0” as a label was first used by Tim O’Reilly and Dale Dougherty of O’Reilly Publishing. Their brainstorming led to the birth of a conference – Web 2.0 (http://www.web2con.com/web2con/), which was held in October of 2004. The evolution of internet focused companies and services in the 13 months since that conference have helped to reinforce – and extend - their observations.

Two 1/4” TRS inputs accommodate mic or line level inputs, and can supply phantom power for condenser microphones. A coaxial SPDIF input is available for recording from a digital source; the MicroTrack 24/96 automatically sets the sample rate to match the incoming stream. An 1/8” headphone port and RCA line outs can be used for monitoring recordings and playback. To connect up the US-401 and select an active computer, do the following: 1. Plug the B Connector end of a USB cable into any available B (Upstream) port on the US-401; plug the A Connector end of the USB cable into the USB port on the computer. 2. Plug the B Connector end of a USB cable into the B (Upstream) port on the peripheral device; plug the A Connector end of a USB cable into the A (Downstream) port on the US-401.
