Microsoft Visual Basic Default KeybindingsThis document contains the keyboard shortcuts that are set by default when you use the Visual Basic Development Settings. To set the Visual Basic Development Settings, on the Tools menu, click Options. In the Options dialog box, select Show all settings, and then, under Environment, click Keyboard. Click the Visual Basic 6 keyboard mapping scheme in the drop-down list and then click OK.
You can customize individual command shortcuts yourself. To do so, on the Tools menu, click Options. In the Options dialog box, select Show all settings, and then, under Environment, click Keyboard. To edit a shortcut, locate the command name in the dialog box and then assign it a shortcut key. In this document, names for the commands described are provided in parentheses.

One of the codes provided by the administrator is the Special Prefix Code (SPRE) which you need in order to use some features. For other features, the SPRE is optional. There are three models of Meridian Digital Telephone. The M2006 has six feature keys. The M2008 has eight feature keys, and the M2008HF includes a built-in microphone. The M2616, shown below, has 16 feature keys and also includes a builtin microphone.
The M2216ACD and M2016S Secure Set also have 16 feature keys. Many of the features described in this manual are also available on the M2616CT Cordless Telephone. Introducing your Meridian Digital Telephone Message Waiting Light The Message Waiting light turns on to indicate that a message has been left for you. LCD Indicator A steady º means the feature or line is active. A flashing º means the line is on hold or the feature is being programmed. Meridian Display Option The Meridian Display Option, with adjustable angle and contrast, shows you features, instructions, and incoming call information. It attaches to the M2008/M2008HF or M2616, and is standard on the M2216ACD. Release By pressing ®, you can disconnect an active call. They wanted the language to be small and use efficient code since these devices do not have powerful CPUs. They also wanted the language to be hardware independent since different manufacturers would use different CPUs. The project was code-named Green.
These conditions led them to decide to compile the code to an intermediate machine-like code for an imaginary CPU called a virtual machine. (Actually, there is a real CPU that implements this virtual CPU now.) This intermediate code (called bytecode) is completely hardware independent. Programs are run by an interpreter that converts the bytecode to the appropriate native machine code. Thus, once the interpreter has been ported to a computer, it can run any bytecoded program.
Sun uses UNIX for their computers, so the developers based their new language on C++. They picked C++ and not C because they wanted the language to be object-oriented. Luckily, Microsoft has entered the world of RIA frameworks, and with the introduction of Microsoft Silverlight 2, offers a platform, which leverages existing .NET developers’ talents. Silverlight includes many of the same base services and types included in the .NET Framework. Starting Concord
If Concord is not already running, start it with the following steps:
1. Start Concord by double-clicking the Concord icon on the Windows desktop.
2. If the Select Books dialog box appears, click the checkbox next to Science and Health. Click OK
3. If the Select Book(s) dialog box does not appear, your copy of Concord has been set to automatically open some or all of the Concord books. From the Book menu, select Add or Remove Books. On the Select Book(s) dialog box, place a checkmark next to Science and Health. Remove checkmarks next to any other book. Click OK.
Pop-up menus
Windows programs have Pop-up menus that have commands, which are tailored for a specific location on the screen. Concord has four Pop-up menus. You "pop up" one of these menus by clicking on the right mouse button (the left mouse button if you are using a left-handed mouse).
Concord’s Pop-up menus are associated with these areas on the screen:
• Book Text windowpane
• Citation Document windowpane
• List windowpane
• Search Field
You can use the Pop-up menu in the List windowpane to play a hymn.
