3D Quick Start Guide: 3ds max to Director 8.5 Shockwave StudioThis 3D Quick Start Guide is designed for the multimedia designer who is new to the 3D capabilities of Director® Shockwave® Studio and the 3D artist/animator who is unfamiliar with Director® 8.5 Shockwave® Studio. Our goal today is to animate an American-style football player, kicking the ball over the goal post. This character was created in 3ds max™ 4 and animated using character studio® 3, proven software solutions from Discreet. You will find a number of assets in the .zip file. By the end of this tutorial, you will be able to take these assets into Director 8.5 Shockwave Studio and create an interactive 3D sequence, playable on the web. The player is kicking the ball over the goal post. The character is animated to perform a series of motions in sequence along a single timeline, i.e., an idle motion, a jog start, a kick sequence, a sprint with arms up and a jog stop. The football is animated to leave its start position, fly over the goal and bounce on the other side. The goal is to take these assets into Director Shockwave Studio and to make them interactive.
The tutorial begins with 3D creation tips and tricks for preparing the character mesh, skinning it onto the Biped® skeleton using Physique® and animating the character. Both Biped and Physique are character studio features. It then discusses the 3ds max Shockwave Exporter to Director 8.5 Shockwave Studio in the "Director 8.5 Shockwave Studio Environment" options and what happens when youBMW 7 Series (E32) Service Manual: 1988–1994The BMW 7 Series (E32) Service Manual: 1988–1994 is here! SilkPerformer SOA Edition license is required to enable access to component testing functionality. Users may or may not additionally have a full SilkPerformer license. Please see the SilkPerformer Components information site for more details.
What can be tested
With SilkPerformer SOA Edition you can thoroughly test various remote component models, including:
• Web Services
• .NET Remoting Objects
• Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB)
• Java RMI Objects
• General GUI-less Java and .NET components
Unlike standard unit testing tools, which can only evaluate the functionality of a remote component when a single user accesses it, SilkPerformer SOA Edition can test components under concurrent access by up to five virtual users— thereby emulating realistic server conditions (with a full SilkPerformer license, the number of virtual users can be scaled even higher). In addition to testing the functionality of remote components, SilkPerformer SOA Edition also verifies the performance and interoperability of components.
SilkPerformer SOA Edition assists you in automating your remote components by:
• Facilitating the development of test drivers for your remote components
• Supporting the automated execution of test drivers under various conditions, including functional test scenarios and concurrency test scenarios
• Delivering quality and performance measures for tested components SilkPerformer offers the following approaches to creating test clients for remote components:
• Visually, without programming (via Java Explorer and .NET Explorer)
• Using an IDE (Microsoft Visual Studio .NET)
• Writing JavaSEO Myths Dispelled: Flash VideoBy now, everyone has visited a website that utilizes Flash multimedia within its design. Since 1996, the use of Flash has grown in popularity thanks to its ability to add animation and interactivity to websites. More recently, Flash has become an essential component in the prolific distribution of intrusive "pop-ups," or web-based advertisements. Flash also grants designers the ability to integrate video into web pages, and this has led many within the Web 2.0 space to use Flash to develop rich Internet applications. Many companies, including my own, Denver interactive agency Fusionbox, offer streaming Flash Video Solutions to clients in need of online video.
While the inclusion of Flash into websites no doubt enriches the user experience rendering it that much "flashier," search engine optimizers (SEOs) have long been wary of the use of Flash due to the fact that it's supposedly unindexable by the search engines. Key word here: supposedly.
As we all know, the search engine game changes daily. If it stayed the same, it wouldn't be called a game. The inherent beauty of it is that no one knows everything. Instead, we're all just players who know something, and we're all moving forward as we try to learn more, keeping up with developments happening in our space. One such development is the evolution of Flash and the impact it has had on the science of search.
Back in the day, Flash files were not indexable by search engines because the content was hidden from the spider's digital “eyes.” The implicationsJBS Technologies Installation Guide - Owners Guide PDFManufacturer Make/ Year Anti-theft PONITAC BONNIEVILLE 89+ VATS FIREBIRD 88+ VATS GRAND AM 96-98 PASSLOCK 1 GRAND AM 99+ PASSLOCK 2 GRAND PRIX 92-96 VATS MONTANA 99+ TRANSPONDER SUNFIRE 96-99 PASSLOCK 1 SUNFIRE 2000+ PASSLOCK 2 PORSCHE ALL 97+ TRANSPONDER SAAB ALL 97+ TRANSPONDER SATURN ALL 97+ FACTORY 2000+ TRANSPONDER TOYOTA AVALON 98+ TRANSPONDER CAMRY 98+ TRANSPONDER LAND CRUISER 98+ TRANSPONDER SOLARIA 99+ TRANSPONDER SUPRA 98+ TRANSPONDER VOLKSWAGON BEETLE 98+ TRANSPONDER GOLF 98+ TRANSPONDER PASSAT 98+ TRANSPONDER VOLVO ALL 98+ TRANSPONDER | Manufacturer Make/ Year Anti-theft SIERRA 98+ PASSLOCK 2 SONOMA 98+ PASSLOCK 2 SUBURBAN 98+ PASSLOCK 2 YUKON 98+ PASSLOCK 2 YUKON XL 2000+ PASSLOCK 2 HONDA ACCORD 98+ TRANSPONDER ODYSSEY 98+ TRANSPONDER PRELUDE 98+ TRANSPONDER S2000 TRANSPONDER INIFINITY I30 98+ TRANSPONDER Q45 98+ TRANSPONDER QX4 98+ TRANSPONDER JAGUAR ALL 98+ TRANSPONDER JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 99+ TRANSPONDER (GREY KEY ONLY) WRANGLER 99+ TRANSPONDER (GREY KEY ONLY) LEXUS ALL 97+ TRANSPONDER LINCOLN CONTINENTAL 97+ TRANSPONDER LS 2000+ TRANSPONDER LINCOLN MARK V3 97+ TRANSPONDER NAVIGATOR 97+ TRANSPONDER TOWN CAR 97+ TRANSPONDER MERCEDES ALL 97+ TRANSPONDER MERCURY COUGAR 99+ TRANSPONDER MOUNTAINEER 98+ TRANSPONDER (Some) MYSTIQUE 97+ TRANSPONDER (Some) SABLE 96+ TRANSPONDER NISSAN MAXIMA 98+ TRANSPONDER OLDSMOBILE ACHIEVA 95+ PASSLOCK 1 ALERO 99+ PASSLOCK 2 AURORA 95+ VATS BRAVADA 98+ PASSLOCK 2 CUTLASS 97+ PASSLOCK 2 NINETY-EIGHT VATS SILHOUETTE 99+ TRANSPONDER |TCP/IP Internetworking With gawkThis chapter provides a (necessarily) brief introduction to computer networking concepts. For many applications of gawk to TCP/IP networking, we hope that this is enough. For more advanced tasks, you will need deeper background, and it may be necessary to switch to lower-level programming in C or C++.
There are two real-life models for the way computers send messages to each other over a network. While the analogies are not perfect, they are close enough to convey the major concepts. These two models are the phone system (reliable byte-stream communications), and the postal system (best-effort datagrams).
Reliable Byte-streams (Phone Calls)
When you make a phone call, the following steps occur:
1. You dial a number.
2. The phone system connects to the called party, telling them there is an incoming call. (Their phone rings.)
3. The other party answers the call, or, in the case of a computer network, refuses to answer the call.
4. Assuming the other party answers, the connection between you is now a duplex (two-way), reliable (no data lost), sequenced (data comes out in the order sent) data stream.
5. You and your friend may now talk freely, with the phone system moving the data (your voices) from one end to the other. From your point of view, you have a direct end-to-end connection with the person on the other end.
The same steps occur in a duplex reliable computer networking connection. There is considerably more overhead in setting up the communications, but once it’s done, data moves in both directions, reliably, in sequence.
