  • D-Link DCM200 Manual pdf
  • The DCM-200 provides customers with high-speed access to the Internet through the cable TV (CATV) network. It works on any cable system that complies with MCNS DOCSIS specifications and provides a high-bandwidth connection to the Internet. It can download Web pages almost instantly, transfers files at exceptionally fast speeds, and delivers real-time video and music with unsurpassed quality. The DCM-200 modem digitizes data and sends it over the cable at up to 10.2 Mbps and can receive transmissions at up to 42.88 Mbps. To give you an idea of just how fast this is, digitized television quality video and audio are transmitted together at about 3 Mbps. The DCM-200 includes both a USB cable interface and a standard RJ-45 port for a 10BASE-T connection to a computer or computer network. When properly configured these connections allow simultaneous data transfers to an existing IP data network or the Internet via the cable company’s network. Download D-Link DCM200 Manual pdf
  • Migrating from Microsoft Access to the MySQL database
  • Businesses that use Microsoft Access eventually begin to struggle against its limitations. Now they have an alternative: Move data repositories to a system that provides better performance and reliability and that is more flexible in how it allows information to be used. NuSphere has the technology you need to follow this course, Gemini the table type for the MySQL database. Together, Gemini and the MySQL database provide a business strength database server that runs under Windows, Linux, or Unix. Gemini provides performance and reliability enhancements such as row-level locking, transaction support, and automatic crash recovery. By using the MySQL database as a data management platform, you can continue to manipulate your data through Access as a front end if you wish. But you can also exploit your data in other ways, for example, by using MySQL to help you establish or strengthen your web presence. To do this, deploy a web server that handles requests from people who visit your site, and tie it to the MySQL database using a web programming language. NuSphere Pro Advantage provides all the necessary tools in a single easy to install product. In addition to the Gemini table, it includes the Apache web server and the Perl and PHP programming languages. Perl and PHP both are extremely popular for web programming, and both interface easily with the MySQL database. Included with NuSphere Pro Advantage is NuSphere® PHPEd™, NuSphere's Integrated Development Environment for PHP-based web applications. The PHPEd IDE is a tool that speeds development time of

  • Google Data APIs Protocol (GData Module)
  • This proposal aims to create a module that implements the GData protocol specification in Drupal. The Google data APIs provide a simple standard protocol, called "GData", for reading and writing data on the web using either of two standard XML-based syndication formats: Atom or RSS. This module will handle all the basic stuff a developer shouldn't have to worry about when developing modules that extend its functionality such as data transfer, protocol adherence, and authentication. It will expose its own API which will allow other developers to create modules that easily interact with information provided by Google's many service APIs. Using this module, module developers who need access to this information need only concern themselves with what's important: the data. This module will benefit Drupal by providing developers with an easy way to interact with information provided by Google's many service APIs without worrying about all the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into accessing and modifying that information. This opens up a world of possibilities for integrating Google applications into Drupal. Some ideas that could be more easily implemented using the API provided by a GData module include, but are not limited to, the following: • Using Gooogle's Apps API to integrate various Google applications into Drupal, allowing it to be a competitor with other online groupware suites such as Microsoft SharePoint. • Integrating Google Base Data into dynamic Drupal applications using Google's Base Data API. • Creating a Drupal front-end to Google's Blogger service through its Blogger Data API, allowing for the administration of
  • The Complete Tire Safety Guide PDF
  • To find the proper air pressure for your tires, look in the vehicle owner s manual, on the driver s side door jamb or in the glove box. And if you buy new tires, be sure to learn the correct pressure from your dealer. Check your pressure at least once a month, and use a good quality air gauge. Or, stop by your local Goodyear dealer and have your air pressure checked and corrected for free. Maintaining proper air pressure is the single most important thing drivers can do for their tires. In the space of just one month, a tire can lose 10 pounds of air pressure. It is important to check your air pressure regularly, to make sure your tires are neither under- nor over-inflated. Under-inflation is the worst enemy your tire can have. It causes increased treadwear on the outside edges (or shoulders) of the tire. It also generates excessive heat, which reduces tire durability. Finally, it reduces your fuel economy by increasing rolling resistance - soft tires make your vehicle work harder. Over-inflation is also detrimental to the tire. Too much air pressure causes the center of the tread to bear the majority of the car s weight, which leads to faster deterioration and uneven wear. Any kind of uneven wear will shorten the lifespan of your tires. over-inflated wear zone under-inflated wear zone Download The Complete Tire Safety Guide PDF
  • BRL-CAD Tutorial Series: Volume IV – Converting Geometry Between BRL-CAD and Other Formats
  • The purpose of Volume IV is to discuss issues of compatibility and conversion between the BRL-CAD geometry file format and the formats of various other computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), and computer-aided engineering (CAE) packages. Conversion is increasingly important for BRL-CAD users who must interact with a growing number of Government and commercial organizations involved in the research, development, testing, and evaluation of today’s combat systems. Note that this document addresses BRL-CAD geometry converters, not BRL-CAD image converters (e.g., pix-bw, pix-ps, pix-rle, bw-ps, and pl-ps). For further information on image conversion, see the man page on the utility of interest. Also, because of the many file formats in existence today and the rapidly changing nature of computer software and software companies, it would be impractical to try to address all of the conversion paths and methods that are currently or potentially possible. Many times, conversion from one file format to another is not a one to-one process. Depending on the amount of time and effort the BRL-CAD user is willing to invest, seemingly incompatible formats can Download BRL-CAD Tutorial Series: Volume IV – Converting Geometry Between BRL-CAD and Other Formats

  • Fighting Virus and Hack Attacks with a Network Analyzer PDF Article
  • This article shows how a network analyzer, historically used for network troubleshooting, can also be used to defend against the security threats. Certain features of a network analyzer can be set to monitor for virus and attack signatures and offer quick ways of isolating infected systems. For those organizations that are looking to invest in a network analyzer there are certain key features that should be considered. Introduction Chances are, your IT toolbox already contains a network analyzer. Historically, a network (or protocol) analyzer has been a great tool for troubleshooting network problems and monitoring for excessive bandwidth usage. But did you know a network analyzer can also fight virus and hack attacks? Along with keeping track of network devices and uptime, a network analyzer can also locate network security breaches and help identify and isolate virus-infected systems. It’s very easy to use your current analyzer to enhance your network security. But which analyzer features are essential for this task? The purpose of this article is to explain how an analyzer can augment firewalls and other perimeter defenses. How Network Analyzers Work A network analyzer shows you what is happening on your network by decoding the different protocols that devices on the network use to communicate, and presenting the results in human...
