Recognizing the importance of USB for small office & home office users, we’ve combined four downstream USB ports and a standard HDB-15 video port into a single KVM switch that fits right on your desktop. Now you can use the MiniViewTM: USB to share a monitor and four USB devices between two (G-CS102U) and four (GCS104U) computers. Connect a USB keyboard, USB mouse and two other USB devices – any USB devices. Scanners, Zip Drives, Printers and all other USB compliant devices will work with the MiniViewTM: USB.
If four USB devices aren’t enough, connect a USB hub to one of the shared ports and expand your USB capacity. Because the MiniViewTM: USB is platform-independent, you can use it with Macs and PCs. Your only limitation is the software support for your USB peripherals. Rest assured, though, that if your peripherals will work with a Mac and a PC, they’ll work with the MiniViewTM: USB as well. We sincerely hope you enjoy using your new MiniViewTM: USB. If you have any questions or comments regarding this product, or any other IOGEAR products, please feel free to contact us. This is important when you want to provide visitors with information that is always up-to-date, without hand tweaking a lot of static HTML pages. However, although PHP is easy to use, it includes no general-purpose database access interface. Instead it has a number of specialized ones that take the form of separate sets of functions for each database system. There is one set for MySQL, another for InterBase, and another for PostgreSQL—and others as well.
This wide range of support for different database engines help make PHP popular because it means essentially that no matter which database you use, PHP probably supports it. On the other hand, having a different set of functions for each database also makes PHP scripts non-portable at the lexical (source code) level. For example, the function for issuing a SQL statement is named mysql_query(), ibase_query(), or pg_exec(), depending on whether you are using MySQL, InterBase, or Post-greSQL. This necessitates a round of messy script editing to change function names if you want to use your scripts with a different database engine, or if you obtain scripts from someone who doesn’t use the same engine you do.
In PHP 4 and up, this problem is addressed by means of a database module included in PEAR (the PHP Extension and Add-on Repository). The PEAR DBThe Programming Contest Training ManualThere are many distinct pleasures associated with computer programming. Craftsman-ship has its quiet rewards, the satisfaction that comes from building a useful object and making it work. Excitement arrives with the flash of insight that cracks a previously intractable problem. The spiritual quest for elegance can turn the hacker into an artist. There are pleasures in parsimony, in squeezing the last drop of performance out of clever algorithms and tight coding.
The games, puzzles, and challenges of problems from international programming com- petitions are a great way to experience these pleasures while improving your algorithmic and coding skills. This book contains over 100 problems that have appeared in previous programming contests, along with discussions of the theory and ideas necessary to attack them. Instant online grading for all of these problems is available from two WWW robot judging sites. Combining this book with a judge gives an exciting new way to challenge and improve your programming skills.
This book can be used for self-study, for teaching innovative courses in algorithms and programming, and in training for international competition.
To the Reader
The problems in this book have been selected from over 1,000 programming problems at the Universidad de Valladolid online judge, available at http://online-judge.uva.es. The judge has ruled on well over one million submissions from 27,000 registered users around the world to date. We have taken only the best of the best, the most fun, exciting, and interesting problems available. We have organized these problems by topic and provided enough tutorial material (primarily inInternet Fax (IP) Users ManualSending a Document (Internet Fax (IP)) Registering the Destination to One-Touch Key (One-Touch Dialing Registration) Receiving a Document Internet Fax (E-mail) Internet Fax (IP) TX to E-mail /Scan to E-mail Scan to File (One-Touch key) Scan to File (Preset Scan) Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Chapter 5 Chapter 6 Chapter 7 Windows® XP is an abbreviation of the Microsoft® Windows® XP operating system. Office offers an integrated set of tools that includes a word processor, a spreadsheet, a presentation program, a note-taking application, a contact management system, and more. Microsoft made long strides toward producing an Office product that is both a pleasure to use and as simple as possible. Its simplicity lacks nothing in power; however, because Microsoft Office is the hands-down most powerful, best integrated, and most widely used set of applications in use today. Given that Office has such a large, installed base, the best place to start is with a quick overview of its most important new features. Two features obviously stand out and those are the best place to begin your Office 2007 survey. After you have this bird’s-eye view, you’ll be ready to tackle all the tasks that make Office 2007 do the work you need done, as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Astigmatism in an aberration that results when an optical system focuses two orthogonal axes of light at two different distances in space. Holograms and holographic optical elements intentionally produce, or unintentionally suffer, from astigmatism. To explain the basic properties of astigmatism, though, we choose a simpler optical model using spherical and cylindrical refractive lenses.
Spherical lens with no astigmatism
The ideal version of the common spherical lens, of which a typical magnifying glass is an example, exhibits no astigmatism. The lens is symmetric in the horizontal and vertical directions (indeed, all directions), and thus has an optical power that doesn’t vary depending on whether the angle that light strikes the lens isGoogle Maps API - The New World of Web MappingA number of new geospatial viewing tools from major players in the Internet industry have recently appeared on the scene and are taking the geospatial world by storm. Google,Yahoo, Microsoft, and Amazon have all released web-based mapping tools in the recent past, and collectively these new players to the industry have raised the bar for Internet mapping. Although their functional capabilities don’t provide anything we haven’t seen in web offerings from traditional GIS vendors, their emergence has been significant in that they have managed to capture a wider audience. Google, in particular, has emerged as the leader of this pack with it’s recently released Google Maps product which provides a slick, highly responsive visual interface built using AJAX technologies along with detailed street and aerial imagery data, and an open API allowing customization of the map output including the ability to add application specific data to the map.
Many of the barriers to entry into the world of web mapping have been removed by Google Maps. To understand how this technology has the potential to change the way web mapping is implemented you must understand the traditional approach to publishing dynamic maps in a web based environment. Traditional web mapping products have relied on a sophisticated infrastructure of data, hardware, software, and human resources.
Data for a traditional web mapping application can be broken into two distinct categories: base data and application specific data. Base data or background data usually includes the geographic region covered by the application and often includes layersAudi TVS3 Instruction ManualAUDI PERFORMANCE & RACING, LLC does not endorse modification of vehicles for use in public highways where warranty or government regulations may be violated.
