The iMIV can be placed behind the dashboard, in the glove compartment or underneath the passenger seat. You will have to connect both the Front Mount Power Cable and the MELBUS module to HU Cable to the back of your radio. You will also have to connect the iMIV to your iPod with the iPod Cable.
The rear installation (with RTI) is for cars with a pre-installed RTI (navigation system). The iMIV will be installed “in chain” with your RTI. The video signal of the iMIV will be hooked up to the RTI, which makes it possible to watch videos from the iMIV on the RTI screen. These videos can be played from an external video source connected to the iMIV (e.g. a DVD player) or an iPod itself (must support video like an iPod video). The iMIV will be installed in the trunk with the long iPod Cable running to the front (middle arm console).

This document assumes that you are a systems administrator with a basic understanding of the Windows operating system and deploying enterprise software, and that you are familiar with Group Policy, Active Directory, and Adobe Reader
Group Policy (GP) and the Active Directory services infrastructure in Windows Server 2003 enable IT administrators to automate one-to-many management of users and computers. Administrators can implement security settings, enforce IT policies, and distribute software across a given site, domain, or range of organizational units (OU). With the software installation extension of GP, you can provide on-demand software installation and automatic repair of applications. Acrobat uses Group Policy Software Installation to enable enhanced deployment for Acrobat products on a Windows network.
The Group Policy settings that you create are contained in a Group Policy object (GPO). To create a GPO, use the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC), which is available for download from the Microsoft Web site at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0A6D4C24-8CBD-4B35-9272-DD3CBFC81887&displaylang=en

The client version of TCP Accelerator is available for download free of charge. This chapter gives a brief overview of TCP Accelerator, and how it operates on the BGAN terminal and connected devices.
The TCP Accelerator suite
The following components are required to accelerate TCP traffic in both directions.
• TCP Accelerator Client: this is a client based software application and is installed on the user’s PC to enhance performance in the send/upload direction.
• TCP Accelerator Network: a server based application for non-VPN users. This sits within the network and together with TCP Accelerator Client enhances performance in the receive/download direction. (To be released.)
• TCP Accelerator VPN Enterprise: a server based application for VPN users. This sits within the Enterprise site and together with TCP Accelerator Client enhances performance in the receive/download direction. (To be released.) At the time of publication, only TCP Accelerator Client is available, and so only performance in the send direction can be improved by the software. However, the performance can be further enhanced by modifying the server configuration. Please see section 5.0 “Optimising performance of end host servers though adjustment of TCP parameters.

The probability of a single drive failing out of many drives is much higher than that of one failing out of only one. This results in a greater chance of losing the information on your disks. There are ways however, to minimize this effect, even making it more reliable than using single disks. 1.3 Different Types of RAID Configurations There are many different ways in which RAID can be configured, each with its set of advantages and disadvantages. The Silicon Image® controller supports the RAID 0 and RAID 1 configurations. 1.3.1 RAID 0 (Striped) RAID 0 works by breaking down data and spreading it over multiple disk drives. RAID 0 does not protect data from failure, and due to the way it stores data, a fault on one drive would result in failure of the entire array. It does however, have vast improvements in both reading and writing speeds,JADE WEB SERVICES INTEGRATION GATEWAY (WSIG) GUIDEThis document describes the rationale behind the Web Service Integration Gateway (WSIG) and how to install, configure and use it. The WSIG (version 0.4) is a JADE add-on that provides support for bidirectional invocation of Web services from JADE agents, and JADE agent services from Web service clients. This is the first public release of this add-on and as such it should be treated as a beta that is subject to change at any time.
The main body of this guide focuses on the process of starting and configuring the WSIG within a running JADE platform. Some usage examples are also provided. Please refer to the javadoc for a complete description of the APIs that allow programmatic access to the security features.
All bugs, issues and feature requests should be made to the main JADE bug reporting system, or sent to the standard JADE mailing lists. Version 0.4 of the WSIG add-on was developed by the JADE Board and is only guaranteed to work with JADE release 3.3 or later.

The IMAQ 1426 acquires digital images in real time and stores the images in onboard frame memory or transfers them directly to system memory. Featuring a high-speed data flow path, the IMAQ 1426 is ideal for both industrial and scientific environments.
The IMAQ 1426 is easy to install and configure. It ships with NI-IMAQ, the National Instruments complete IMAQ driver software you can use to directly control the IMAQ 1426 and other National Instruments IMAQ hardware products. With NI-IMAQ, you can quickly and easily start your applications without having to program the device at the register level. The IMAQ 1426 supports the Camera Link Base configuration. The MDR 26-pin connector provides access to base configuration cameras. For further configuration information, refer to the Camera Link and IMAQ 1426 section of Chapter 3, Hardware Overview.
The 15-pin D-SUB connector has four external TTL input/output (I/O) lines you can use as triggers or as high-speed digital I/O lines. Should you choose not to use the TTL I/O lines, the 15-pin D-SUB connector also provides access to two optically isolated inputs and two RS-422 inputs. These inputs can be individually selected in software.
For more advanced digital or analog system triggering or digital I/O lines, you can use the IMAQ 1426 and NI-IMAQ with the National Instruments data acquisition (DAQ) or motion control product lines.

For a machine with 26 GB of hard disk space, spread out over two drives, here's one possible configuration. Boot is always 100 MB, unless you're so pressed for disk space that you need to reduce it further. /var/www is where Web server files go, so you'll want a lot of room there. Swap is usually twice the amount of RAM.
hda (12 GB)
- boot 100 MB
- /var/www 11,000 MB
- swap 500 (assuming 256 MB of RAM)
Reserve a fair amount of space for /tmp and /var, which hold files like logs and working files. Putting each of these in its own partition means that, for example, a log file that runs out of control won't crash the rest of the system. Reserve a fair amount of space for /home. And increase that if you're going to have other people maintaining their own home directories on your Web server. The rest goes to the root partition.
hdb (14 GB)

- /tmp 2000
- /home 3000
- /var 2000
If you're not using DHCP, you're going to need to configure your network card manually. In the Network Configuration step, select the Edit button to the right of the Network Devices list box. You'll uncheck the “Configure using HDCP” check box, and then enter the IP Address and Netmask for your Web server computer. Once back in the Network Configuration step, you'll select the “Set the hostname” option button to “manually”, and enterAudi A6 Body repairs Service ManualAudi A6 1998 Edition 10.2000 Service
