  • EnterpriseVault for Macintosh Quick Reference Guide
  • UCLA Enterprise Messaging is pleased to introduce Enterprise Vault (EVault), a storage system for mailbox items. EVault automatically archives email and calendar items based on an age cycle determined by each department and safely stores them in a centralized storage area. EVault reduces the number of items in your mailbox to help improve performance and reduce the likelihood of exceeding your mailbox limit. EVault Terms: Archive: The process of freeing up space in your EM mailbox by automatically moving older email and calendar items to an archive area called a vault. Restore:The process of copying an archived item back to your EM mailbox. Macintosh users will need to restore items if replying or forwarding is necessary. Restored Items Folder: A folder in the EM mailbox that is automatically created by EVault the first time an item is restored. Basket: A container for a set of items being restored. When restoring a basket to the EM mailbox, a subfolder is created with the same name as the basket from which you restored the items. This keeps similar items together. • 2000 Chevrolet Camaro Owner’s Manual
  • The best way to protect the fetus is to protect the mother. When a safety belt is worn properly, it’s more likely that the fetus won’t be hurt in a crash. For pregnant women, as for anyone, the key to making safety belts effective is wearing them properly. Right Front Passenger Position The right front passenger’s safety belt works the same way as the driver’s safety belt. See “Driver Position” earlier in this section. Air Bag System This part explains the air bag system. Your vehicle has air bags — one air bag for the driver and another air bag for the right front passenger. Frontal air bags are designed to help reduce the risk of injury from the force of an inflating air bag. But these air bags must inflate very quickly to do their job and comply with federal regulations. Here are the most important things to know about the air bag system.. • Using OEChem and Ogham with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
  • Microsoft’s Visual Studio development environment is a popular development environment, commonly used by the corporate IT groups of large pharmaceutical companies. Microsoft Visual Studio provides an integrated development environment (IDE) for several programming languages including C, C++, C#, J# and Microsoft Visual Basic that can be used to target graphical and console applications to Intel (and AMD) compatible systems running Microsoft Windows. This document describes how to integrate OpenEye Scientific Software’s toolkit libraries into Visual Studio applications, for example using Microsoft Windows Forms designer, to deliver the power of OEChem’s chemistry functionality to utilities on a chemist’s desktop. Microsoft Versions One potentially problematic aspect of using Microsoft’s development tools to build, debug and deploy is their rapid and continual rate of change. As Microsoft’s Windows operating systems evolve, so do their developer tools to support new functionality, simplified development and ever changing programming paradigms. This means that with each release the user interface of their IDE, the APIs of their libraries and components and even the syntax and names of their programming languages typically change, often in backwardly incompatible ways. The majority of this document describes the use of Microsoft Visual C++ .Net 2003 to develop “managed” Windows Forms applications on Windows 2000 and higher. Although, the steps and code examples given below are known not to work with earlier versions and probably won’t work without modification on later versions, the explanations given in this document should be sufficient for someone skilled/familiar with Microsoft’s tools to adapt to their particular development environment. • 4D Web 2.0 Pack - Rich Internet and Mobile applications made simple
  • The phenomenon known as Web 2.0 is more than just the web today. Reaching far beyond the browser, this name for live, interactive, user-manipulable data has come to define RIAs (Rich Internet Applications) and RDAs (Rich Desktop Applications). These represent a new generation of Internet-compatible applications that can be implemented across multiple platforms on personal computers, as well as mobile devices (PDAs, smartphones, etc.). Users are demanding more from their solutions today. On top of having stores of reliable data, they want access to it from as many places as possible, by as many means as possible. In an increasingly mobile, connected world, your customers demand the latest technologies to access their data via Firefox, Safari, Adobe AIR, iPhone, Flex, Google Gears, HTML 5, online, offline – you name it! 4D Web 2.0 Pack is the fastest way for 4D developers to get their applications into the Web 2.0 world, often with hardly any new code at all. In fact, 4D Web 2.0 Pack allows 4D applications go online and mobile without any knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, etc. However, it’s flexible enough to accommodate those who do know these technologies, allowing them to seriously customize their implementations to deliver beautiful, powerful solutions. 4D Ajax Framework provides you with a 4D component that automatically enables your application data to be accessed by calls from a web server. This component, like any other, is very easily installed with a simple drag-and-drop into your 4D application. There are no new tables nor new forms

  • Galaxy Installation & User Guide
  • There are a variety of ways to connect the Galaxy to the print server. Some offer improved performance, and some offer-improved performance along with the ability to locate the printer or plotter some distance away from the RIP. Here are the most common options, all of which are supported directly or indirectly by OpenRIP for PlanetB: USB connection: The new standard for connecting printers to computers is the universal Serial Bus (USB) port. It passes data to the printer much more quickly, while requiring fewer system resources to do so. The Galaxy uses USB 2.0 the port is located on the backside of the machine, next to the power cord. Installing the Print Driver 1. Insert the Epson 7600 installation disk into the Printer Server. Select the 7600 Dye printer, and then click the right arrow. 2. The installation disk will begin loading the software. 3. A compatibility warning will appear, disregard and Click Continue Anyway. 4. The software will begin to look for the Galaxy. Click on Discontinue Search to finish the setup. 5. The compatibility warning will pop-up again, Click Continue Anyway. 6. The driver has been installed, Click OK to continue with the setup. 7. Using the USB cable connect the print server to the Galaxy, turn the Power on to the Galaxy. Download pdf Galaxy Installation & User Guide
  • Wire Rigging Cartoon Ribbon Models in Maya
  • The following process was used to create a custom rig to study the conformational morphs of the HIV gp120 receptor as it binds CD4. A cartoon model can first be generated in Pymol, VMD or Chimera, exported as VRML and then converted to OBJ for import into Maya. 1. Clean the model. Use the Polygon “extract faces” tool to separate all of the main parts into individual parts: Beta Arrows, strands, and Helices. 2. Merge the vertices of each new part and delete history. Also rename the parts now if required. 3. Draw curves on the surfaces. Make each surface “live” by clicking the icon that looks like a magnet while the object is selected. Only one object can be made live at a time. Place a CV at just about every ring in the strand tube to achieve a balanced deformation. This will end up being your initial confirmation state curve. 4. Import the final confirmation state geometry. And make it live and perform the same task as above. However you don’t have to break it up or clean this geometry, it will be deleted. 5. You should have a beginning (yellow) curve for the initial confirmation state and a final (blue) curve for the final confirmation state. With almost the same number of CVs in them... • Compiling Eclipse Applications for Windows With GCJ/MinGW
  • In this document, we examine the creation of native (Windows) executables for Eclipse applications (not for Eclipse itself). While we have concentrated on Windows aspects, the equivalent systems should work without any difficulty on Linux. We will eventually test the generation of native Linux executables. The advantage of compiled Eclipse application executables is that they do not require the JRE, they are self-contained except for the one swt dll. The applications can be distributed in zip format and can be moved around on a machine without requiring changes to the registry (there is no information saved in the Windows registry). GCC and MinGW: To compile Java applications to run on Windows, download the MinGW build of GCC/GCJ 3.3 for win32 from http://www.thisiscool.com/gcc_mingw.htm. This build uses a slightly older version of Eclipse (Eclipse 2.0.2) but it worked without any problems on the applications that we tested. This build includes a build of the SWT libraries so that the entire Eclipse application can be compiled. (The Swing libraries have not yet been ported to GCC/GCJ.) Special thanks are due to Mohan Embar and Ranjit Mathew for their work in building this win32 version. Download pdf Compiling Eclipse Applications for Windows With GCJ/MinGW

  • Using Silver light to Build a hero bar with ASP.NET
  • What Is Silverlight? Silverlight is a new Web presentation technology that is created to run on a variety of platforms. It enables the creation of rich, visually stunning and interactive experiences that can run everywhere: within browsers and on multiple devices and desktop operating systems (such as the Apple Macintosh). In consistency with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), the presentation technology in Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 (the Windows programming infrastructure), XAML (eXtensible Application Markup Language) is the foundation of the Silverlight presentation capability. The Evolution of Web Development: Moving to Web.Next When Tim Berners-Lee at CERN invented the modern Web, it was intended as a system that allowed static documents to be stored and linked on a network- based system. Over the years, innovation grew, with the logical next step being "active" documents that are generated at the time they are requested with time-specific or user- specific information. Technologies such as CGI empowered this. Over time, the ability to generate documents on the Web became paramount, and the technology evolved through CGI, Java, ASP, and then ASP.NET. ASP.NET provided a milestone in the ability for a developer to develop quality Web applications quickly using a server-development paradigm and best- of-breed tools from the Visual Studio line of products.
