Seven Steps to a Better Google AnalyticsGoogle Analytics - free online web analytics | The 3-year-old web application, created by Google after acquiring Urchin Software, that allows businesses to make better decisions with respect to their web applications.
1. Start with the correct user account
Since Google Analytics (GA) is a free tool that processes incoming tracking data on-the-fly, but there is no way to bulk transfer data between accounts. Setting up a long-term email address for your account is crucial, especially if you don't want to keep multiple sets of data around in the future. Create a generic account based on your domain called google@domain.com - then simply use your ISP to forward that address to the appropriate one.
2. Configure tracking code properly
Garbage in = Garbage Out. Take an hour to sketch out each piece of your website, including multiple domains, multiple hosts, off-domain widgets (Inntopia) and conversion methods. Setting up your tracking code correctly from the outset will save countless hours of analysis & second guessing in the future.
3. Filter your own traffic (and that of your vendors)
If you owned a retail store and counted daily drive-up traffic, you wouldn't include your employees' and vendors' vehicles in that count would you (unless you were calculating parking lot needs)? Then why track the traffic from your internal visitors, employees, telecommuters, web developer and vendors? Implementing filters 'cleans up' your visitor data before it is processed in GA.

Without the assistance of simplification tools, then, development teams integrating Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 must re-write and redesign significant amounts of their application build processes. But, such an endeavor proves so costly and time-consuming that many enterprises choose to delay or omit upgrades to their development environments. Unfortunately, avoidance will quickly create a situation where new applications are written in the new Visual Studio but without compatibility to the vast amount of programs and systems that were developed in older versions.
Opportunity
To overcome this development limitation, OpenMake, a CA partner that specializes in Build Management, worked closely with Microsoft on the new Visual Studio 2008 and created a process where Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 code can be easily integrated with code created in the newer release. This unique process bridges the technology gap between the two Microsoft development environments and provides a simple method for programmers to integrate all of their existing applications with new applications written in Visual Studio 2008.
And, the technology is so innovative and complete that even developers using MS Visual Studio 97, MS Visual Studio 6.0 and MS Visual Studio .Net 2002 and 2003 can integrate to MS Visual Studio 2008. As such, it allows you to continue to use the large code base already developed in a single integrated environment and with automated and continuous integrationMicrosoft Office 2003 Word IntroductionMicrosoft Word is an essential tool for the creation of documents. Its ease of use has made Word one of the most widely used word processing applications currently on the market. Therefore, it's important to become familiar with the various facets of this software, since it allows for compatibility across multiple computers as well as collaborative features. Word is a fairly simple program to use for completing simple tasks. However, it may be more difficult to learn how to explore the more advanced possibilities of Word.
Opening Microsoft Word:
To run Word on your computer: “Start” >> “Programs” >> “Microsoft Office” >> “Microsoft Office Word 2003.” If there is an icon of Microsoft Word available on your desktop (shaped like a square with a "W" in the middle), you can open up the program by double-clicking it, as well.
Making a New Blank Document:
When Word is opened, a new blank document should automatically open. If not, then you can begin a new blank document in a variety of ways. First, find the "New Blank Document" icon, which looks like a blank sheet of paper, located underneath the menu bar in Word in what is called the "standard toolbar." Click on the icon to bring up a new blank document.

Such attacks target databases that are accessible through a web front-end, and take advantage of flaws in the input validation logic of Web components such as CGI scripts. We apply the concept of instruction-set randomization to SQL, creating instances of the language that are unpredictable to the attacker. Queries injected by the attacker will be caught and terminated by the database parser. We show how to use this technique with the MySQL database using an intermediary proxy that translates the random SQL to its standard language. Our mechanism imposes negligible performance overhead to query processing and can be easily retrofitted to existing systems.
The intuition behind such attacks is that pre-defined logical expressions within a pre-defined query can be altered simply by injecting operations that always result in true or false statements. This injection typically occurs through a web form and associated CGI script that does not perform appropriate input validation. These types of injections are not limited strictly to character fields. Similar alterations to the “where” and “having” SQL clauses have been exposed, when the application does not restrict numeric data for numeric fields.
Standard SQL error messages returned by a database can also assist the attacker. In situations where the attacker has no knowledge of the underlying SQL query or the contributing tables, forcing an exception may reveal more details about the table or its field names and types. This technique has been shown to be quite effective in practice.

• sculptor-helloworld-parent - Only a maven project for building the other parts.
• sculptor-helloworld - Business tier. EJB project containing the services and domain objects.
• sculptor-helloworld-web - Presentation tier. Web application with CRUD GUI.
• sculptor-helloworld-ear - EAR package of the deployable application.
Setup maven projects
We start with creating a script that calls the 4 maven archetypes to generate the project structures and maven build files. It also does an inital build and generation of Eclipse project with the maven eclipse plugin. Of course you can execute these commands one by one from the command prompt, but the script is useful when doing this several times.
Copy the following script to sculptor-archetypes.cmd, located in the root of your Eclipse workspace. Adjust paths to your environment.

Internet users now evaluate the trustworthiness of information posted on the Internet, and share their knowledge more widely on that information. This trend is also applicable to education-related information services. Education information services will be able to provide new opportunities for the education sector once education providers accept this new trend in the web world, thus creating new and vital services. Web 2.0 is certainly facilitating this kind of change in the education service sector.
Concept and characteristics of Web 2.0
Web 2.0 is about openness, sharing and participation. An individual can post his or her own content on the web, and allow other people to share it. People participate in enhancing the value and quality of the content. Tim O’Reilly, CEO of the U.S. company O’Reilly Media, made seven definitions of Web 2.0, by gathering the common features of the companies that survived after the burst of the dot.com bubble. These are : The Web as a Platform, Harnessing Collective Intelligence, Data is the Next Intel Inside, End of the Software Release Cycle, Lightweight Programming Models, Software Above the Level of a Single Device, and Rich User Experiences. The application of Web 2.0 can be seen in the following.
