  • Fiat Bravo/a changing front shock absorbers / or springs
  • First you need to unscrew the cross link bar of the wish bone(white arrow). This will enable you easier taking off of the shock. To do so, get under the car while its not jacked up, and just unscrew the nut off completely. After that, open the bonnet and pull off the plastic cap on the shock pad (white arrow). When removed it will look like this. Now take a spanner and a ratchet (6mm alen key) and put them on like on the pics left. When you have done that, just un tighten (1/2 - 1 turns) the nut. To un tighten the nut, hold the ratchet in place and turn the spanner. DO NOT unscrew more than that or take the nut off. The next step is to unscrew the 3 screws holding the shock to the chassis (3 yellow arrows). Unscrew them, but not completely. Jack the car up, take the wheel off and put the car on a stilt. Using a spanner and ratchet, unscrew the 2 nuts shown by yellow arrows. When the nuts are off, you are left with 2 screws (white arrows) that need to be taken out. To do so, just push them out in the red arrow direction. Now unscrew the 3 screws at the top (yellow arrows) while holding the shock with your left hand. Warning – when you take out the screws, the shock will drop down. Download pdf Fiat Bravo/a changing front shock absorbers / or springs
  • Virtools Tutorial: Let’s Get Physical
  • Virtools provides the amazing ability to endow your worlds with a reasonably good simulation of real world physics with the addition of a few building blocks. As we will see, this system becomes a bit of a black box, but I hope you’ll find that it works reasonably well in many circumstances. The Physicalize BB Let’s begin with the Virtools Getting Started Physics demo. C:Program FilesVirtoolsVirtools Dev 3.5DocumentationPhysicsPhysics DatabaseGettingStarted.cmo. To begin experimenting with physics, all you need to do is add the Physics -> Creation -> Physicalize BB to the two main elements in the scene. In this case the floor and the box. Be sure to set IC on anything you physicalize before playing the scene. Gravity One thing that happens automatically in with the Physics system is that you get Gravity. If you play the scene at this point, you’ll notice that everything that you physicalized falls out of the frame. This introduces us to the first major parameter in the Physics BB: “Fixed” Download Virtools Tutorial: Let’s Get Physical
  • Top 10 Web 2.0 attack vectors
  • Web 2.0 is the novel term coined for new generation Web applications. start.com, Google maps, Writely and MySpace.com are a few examples. The shifting technological landscape is the driving force behind these Web 2.0 applications. On the one hand are Web services that are empowering server-side core technology components and on the other hand are AJAX and Rich Internet Application (RIA) clients that are enhancing client-end interfaces in the browser itself. XML is making a significant impact at both presentation and transport (HTTP/HTTPS) layers. To some extent XML is replacing HTML at the presentation layer while SOAP is becoming the XML-based transport mechanism of choice. WEB 2.0 Security concerns – Reshaping the industry This technological transformation is bringing in new security concerns and attack vectors into existence. Yamanner, Samy and Spaceflash type worms are exploiting “client-side” AJAX frameworks, providing new avenues of attack and compromising some of the confidential information. On the “server-side”, XML based Web services are replacing some of the key functionalities and providing distributed application access through Web services interfaces. These remote capabilities to invoke methods over GET, POST or SOAP from the Web browser itself provide new openings to applications. On other side, RIA frameworks running on XML, XUL, Flash, Applets and JavaScripts are adding new possible sets of vectors. RIA, AJAX and Web services are adding new dimensions to Web application security. Download pdf Top 10 Web 2.0 attack vectors
  • Cellpipe 20A User's Guide
  • The CellPipe 20A is a high-speed Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) device that supports bridging over ATM. It supports RFC1483 Multiprotocol over AAL5. You can use the CellPipe 20A to create a dedicated, physical connection to Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) equipment at the telephone company. You first attach your computer or Ethernet hub to the CellPipe 20A. Then, you connect the unit to a standard telephone line. The other end of the line connects to DSL equipment at the telephone company. Your DSL circuit is dedicated to your CellPipe unit. With DSL, you have the capacity to transfer data at very high rates. The actual rate can vary according to the type of CellPipe you use, the distance between the CellPipe and the DSL equipment, and the line quality of the connection. You can use DSL technology for Internet access, telecommuting, remote office connectivity, multimedia, and videoconferencing. CellPipe 20A features The CellPipe 20A includes the following features: • ATM over ADSL through a single copper twisted-pair telephone line • 10/100 MB Ethernet (Auto-detect) • High-speed bridging • DMT-based standards • Support for ATM AAL5 (ATM Adaptation Layer Type 5) • Support for VC-based multiplexing and LLC encapsulation of RFC1483 • Autonegotiating rate adaptation • Ease of use • Easy configuration CellPipe 20A management The CellPipe 20A is managed through a command-line interface. You set up a serial connection and use VT100 emulation software to display configuration information on your computer monitor and use the computer to enter any changes. You can use the command-line interface to change the VPI and VCI value, and the

Harpoon tur a CAD file into a finished mesh with three clicks of a mouse. Proprietary meshing algorithms enable the software to process up to two million cells per minute on standard hardware. A HEX-dominant structure within Harpoon eures better quality cells, even if CAD data is poor. And, Harpoon automatically checks the generated mesh for incoistencies and repai any sub-par cells.
